THERE was a Power cut at the Ally Pally last night as 16-times champ Phil Taylor was sent packing by an electric Raymond van Barneveld performance.
The semi-final line-up is now complete and it's a couple of cracking matches to look forward to on New Year's day with fellow Scots Gary Anderson and Peter Wright going head to head while van Barneveld tries to stage another upset against title favourite Michael van Gerwen.
Before then there's plenty of Hogmanay sport worth a flutter – rugby's Pro12 matches include Glasgow away to Treviso and Munster at Connacht while there's also half a dozen NBA games to take you through the bells.

Zebre are at home yes, and they beat Edinburgh last time yes. But. Zebre have lost 5/5 of their last home games (albeit against better opposition) and their win against Edinburgh came down to a 79th minute try, with their other points coming from penalties alone.
May have got this completely wrong but I think Edinburgh will seek revenge here and beat a side with shabby defence and poor record.

Agree with @williams1993 that Edinburgh will be looking to avenge their defeat in the reverse fixture. Unfortunately Edinburgh’s away form is second worst in the league and they lack a lot of consistency. They’ve made 6 changes from the Glasgow match and have had a long trip to Italy straight after.
