FRIDAY night was a great one for many of the regulars who posted tips so well done to everyone.
My only bet was a Super Single winning goals treble – over 1.5 goals at Mainz and Nottm Forest and over 2.5 at De Graafschap. The three games produced 15 strikes and the 13-10 bet was never in doubt.
Top Oss won 5-3 and their goals ratio and has been flagged up in recent weeks. Jordan had them in a goals double and Tom Boere, the player he tipped to score, bagged a hat-trick.
So we move on to Saturday and it looks a difficult card – one of the toughest of the season.
In Saturday's Daily Record I'm going for 10 Saturday Super Single winners in a row. I posted Aberdeen draw no bet on this site on Wednesday and that's what I'm taking in the paper too as I found it tough to choose something else.
It's a bit of cop-out but if it's a draw at Ibrox I don't mind making another attempt on a better card next Saturday.
Aberdeen haven't won at Ibrox for 25 years but Rangers were dire against Hearts in midweek.

Very true…a really difficult card this weekend. Its a week that you need to have a bit of a gamble on some value, something out of the extraordinary in my opinion.
In terms of certainties I don’t think you can beat Dortmund to beat Monchengladbach at 8/15. Dortmund need to win, Monchengladbach’s away form is abysmal and -1 must be considered. At around evens I still think it’s too risky with Dortmund’s leaky defence although I’d still back the yellow and black army to pull through and if your looking for a double or an accumulator I’d definitely throw Dortmund in to win.
It’s approaching Christmas and this time of year can throw up some strange results particularly in the lower leagues. I look at teams that have over achieved at the start of the season who probably shouldn’t be there. In the Championship I’ll throw a couple of teams your way.
Blackburn v Huddersfield
Huddersfield travel to Ewood Park hanging onto sixth place, boasting one win in seven and losing five of those.
Blackburn on the other hand are unbeaten at home in four and have seen themselves climb out of the drop zone for the first time on the back of an unexpected win at St James’ Park.
For me the 7/4 for Blackburn win does offer some serious value considering recent results however both teams have been scoring and conceding frequently so although there isn’t as much value the BTTS and over 2.5 goals shouldn’t be too far away and feels safer to backing an outright.

Birmingham v Barnsley
This years surprise package has to be Birmingham City. How they sit in fourth I don’t know. Rowett has produced miracles. An average team at best, but I can’t help but think this looks a potential banana skin. People forget how high Barnsley were flying at the start of the season and I’m sure they will come to St Andrews looking to prove a point. Birmingham fans are probably expecting the win and this can be very dangerous in the minefield that is the Championship. Barnsley on their day have goals in them and I feel Blues may just be hitting that point in the year where there form may dip a bit.
Blues have a very decent record against Barnsley, winning 3 of the last 6 against them. Unfortunately for Blues those wins came at Oakwell and at St Andrews it’s a very different proposition. The last three at St Andrews have seen Barnsley come away with two 1-1 draws and a 5-0 win so it’s a fixture that very much favours the away side of recent years.
Blues are unbeaten in the last seven at home so I can’t help but think they are due a defeat. Odds of 3/1 for a Barnsley win offer some serious value.

Man City v Chelsea
An intriguing game between the two new boys on the block. Pep v Conte! Absolutely fascinating spectacle in store where whoever scores first is going to be massive IMO.
I actually couldn’t believe the odds for this game to be honest. At 6/5 Man City are way too short in a top of the table clash where most often or not they end in a stale mate. However, I feel there will be a winner, and at 12/5 Chelsea look absolutely massive to see off City. Chelsea have been impressive recently where they destroyed Everton, made light work of Middlesbrough and came back to beat Spurs. This is Conte’s kind of game. Sit tight, soak up the City pressure and hit them on the break with Hazard, Pedro and Moses. I’m sure Conte will have them well drilled to pressurise City’s back line with their passing out from the back. I fear for City, and feel Chelsea could do what City did to United a few months ago.
Chelsea are quite simply too big to ignore.

Basel just pulled one back, so that’s a cracking day sealed – and how close it was to the full house, too. Copenhagen only won 1-0, despite scoring early.
