IT'S another busy night of NBA action on Boxing Day and Houston Rockets are hoping they don't fizzle out as they take on Memphis Grizzlies in the battle for top spot in the Southwest Division.
Rocket are flying high and looking to soar above a Grizzlies side suffering their worst form slump of the season having lost the last three games on the bounce.
Other highlights in tonight's 11-match schedule include Cleveland Cavs at Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celtics and struggling Philadelphia 76ers at Northwest leaders Portland Trailblazers.

id be careful with that game, bear in mind that the cancer of the Detroit Pistons -Josh Smith- was traded yesterday, that guy was loosing a lot of possesions and the statistics say the Pistons outscored their oponnents whenever he was on the bench. I like san antonio as long as they dont rest duncan and ginobili, and Cleveland is paying 2/3 visiting orlando.

Ryan, I cant see Pacers losing. As for Hawks & Pacers points I dont really do team points but if their average points per game (divide their season points for by how many games they’ve played) is higher than the figure/s you’ve stated than i’d say it would be worth taking.

6 FOLD: Trail Blazers -6.5, Nuggets -3.5, Pacers +5.5, Cavs +5.5, Spurs +9.5, Hawks -2.5 @ $4.00 (2 pts)
Note: I think Pacers will win by 6 points. They’ll pull away in the 1st & then again in the 4th.
I’m avoiding all the teams that have screwed me over 2 or more times in the past week (being OKC, Lakers, etc)
IF, the NAP above wins, ill think about doing Huggybear’s other suggestion of Nuggets to cover -10.5 against Timberwolves who I think are tanking the rest of the season.

– Cairns are 2nd on NBL ladder, whilst Wooloongong are in last. Even though Cairns are playing away, they usually find a way to beat Wooloongong (although margin is usually tight). Cairns have won 5 of their last 7 matches, whilst Wooloongong have lost 8 of their last 10.
– Adelaide & Townsville are in equal 6th position. Townsville have lost their last 3 straight and 5 of their last 6. Adelaide were on a terrible losing streak of 7 straight losses, however they have found form and won their last 2 home games against opponents higher than them on the table.

well, the Pistons got rid of Josh Smith who definetely did not fit into the team and I just realized after putting money on it that it might have been a bad call,
only had 30 on the Pacers yesterday.
