BARCELONA -4 wasn't the most popular Super Single I've put up – but it was an easy winner and that's what matters.

Not many agreed with me weakened Barca – with a 4-0 first-leg lead – would better that result but I never force people to have the bet. I always advise if you don't like my choice as a value punt then back against it or leave it alone.

After the criticism it was great to see Barca have the -4 handicap covered at half-time and of course they went on to win 8-1 – and by then some people with more confidence in me had taken -5, -6 and even -7.

Minus 4 at 7-4 was good enough for me although I put up a 2.5pt SS instead of 5pts due to the nature of the bet. My second-choice SS, Bayern Munich to win to nil, also came in but I couldn't pick that after Monday's Everton pick being beaten on the same market.

I was unlucky with the Top Treble with Chelsea and Yeovil winning but Nantes needing extra time to beat Metz 4-2.

Tonight there are two more Capital One Cup quarter-finals and again team news is vital. Early indications are Newcastle will be full strength (barring a couple of injuries) at Spurs who will rotate their squad.

And it seems as if under-pressure Brendan Rodgers will also pick his best side for the tricky trip to Championship leaders Bournemouth who may not play all of their main men. Boss Eddie Howe made 10 changes against West Brom in the last round and promotion is his priority.

I've posted a separate article previewing the Capital One Cup ties and have decided to stick by Liverpool as my Super Single. However, I'd advise anyone not sure to wait to see line-ups before having a bet – if Bournemouth are at full strength or Liverpool aren't I'd consider Bournemouth draw no beat instead. It's once again a 2.5pts SS but I may update when teams are revealed.

One problem with that could be a Liverpool price drop. Coral remain a best 21-2010bet are 20-21 – but by kick-off all bookies will be odds on if team news favours the Reds.

Elsewhere there are five Bundesliga games, six French Cup clashes and six Spanish Cup ties as well as PSV v Feyenoord in the Dutch league among other games.

In Germany h2h results suggest there should be goals at Eintracht v Hertha Berlin and Borussia M v Werder Bremen while Wolfsburg can avoid defeat at a Dortmund side still in relegation trouble. Wolfsburg are 19-20 at Coral not to lose and that starts the Top Treble.

Add Real Sociedad at home to Real Oviedo in the Spanish Cup with Davie Moyes's side starting the second leg level at 0-0 and complete the treble with PSG at Ajaccio in the French Cup. PSG will be looking to bounce back from their shock league loss to Guingamp and should have too much quality for their opponents even if they rest some players.

Elsewhere I like the look of Rennes at home to Creteil and Lorient, who have a great record at home to St Etienne, but team news is key in cup clashes so the best bet is to back sides at full strength.

In Holland PSV should see off Feyenoord at home and are a best 17-20 at McBookie and Coral.

not sure about this one; bournemouth are a brilliant team, having watched them destroy my team huddersfield early in the season.
they’ve beaten birmingham 8-0, are the football league’s top scorers and are currently on a 12 match unbeaten run. sure, they made 10 changes against a pretty strong WBA side in the last round but they still beat them.

btts and o2.5/3.5 would be a good shout; bournemouth play a pretty similar style to liverpool- very open and always looking to attack. they score goals from all across the midfield and have a great striker in callum wilson. but liverpool and sterling in particular can definitely get in behind and cause them problems

    Bournemouth/Liverpool over 2.5 goals @ 5/6 @ Skybet/BV

Bournemouth’ last 6 home games have seen over 2.5 with the last 5 seeing BTTS & over 2.5, the last 4 seeing BTTS and over 3.5 goals. Liverpool’s last 4 away games have seen over 2.5 goals, with BTTS and over 2.5 in 3/4, with 3/4 also seeing BTTS and over 3.5 goals.

Both teams scoring and conceding (apart from Sunday but we’ll give that to De Gea) Liverpool need a result but nobody can deny their defensive issues and they’ll do well to keep a clean sheet against the promotion chasers.

Be interesting to see if Dan Gosling starts for Bournemouth. The ex Toffee likes to put himself about in midfield and probably hasn’t played against Liverpool for a while. 5/1 to be booked at BV. I’ll keep an eye on that one.

  13. darran 9 years ago

Worst thing is I need to bet before I go to work at 3 pm tomorrow not cool as team lineups come out usually very late and have no idea what Brendan Rodgers will be thinking not so super Mario Lambert or 3 rd keeper and 3 rd team why is Gerard out does anyone no

  14. Danny T 9 years ago

Jordan I like it. He fell through newcastle and Everton fans dislike him . I can’t see Liverpool winning tomorrow like as much as I want us to put a performance in I just feel we will concede 2 at least

    • Jordan 9 years ago

Bournemouth hot at home Danny but it depends who they start I suppose. It could have been 3-3 on Sunday if it wasn’t for De Gea, think this will be a high scorer going by Bournemouth’ recent home record but 5/6 for over 2.5 is good enough for me. Maybe a tenner on Gosling to be booked if he starts.

I’ve just checked Danny and Gosling has started in all of their Capital One Cup games. He’s actually their top scorer and 3rd top scorer in the cup. 9/1 Anytime scorer @ Betfred!? I seem to remember an FA Cup replay a few years ago, I’m sure he scored the winner for Everton against you in injury time?

  19. Jordan 9 years ago

ITV missing goals? Surely not!? (cough cough World Cup, Gerrard)
Hmm not sure where to put my tenner now. 9/1 is a bit mad to say he’s the highest goalscorer (4 in 4) who is still in the competition ahead of Sheffield United’ Michael Higdon.

Bournemouth – Liverpool, people not sure which way it will go, ok Liverpool out of form, and Bournemouth top of their league, Liverpool are still a class and a league above this mob tonight. How many Bournemouth guys wud get in our team? NONE. Mancs beat us 3-0 who was MOM? Rooney? Rvp? Mata? Falcao? NO THEIR keeper, don’t look to hard into this game lads were a league above, a class above and the haters are out for Brendon, we win this its our best chance of silverware, get sheff utd in the semi then every chance going back to Wembley.

LIVERPOOL TO WIN 11/10 ABSOLUTE BANKER, THE BEST BET OF THE YEAR TRUST ME

Yeah….i think goals is the way forward for the Liverpool game. I couldn’t possibly put a penny on either side to win with any confidence as i just think it’s a very hard one to call.
As Mr F says, team news could be vital and see what team Bournemouth put out.

Seeing i’m up in the middle of nowhere in Thailand and by the time team news comes out it’s stupid o clock here so i’ll go with goals and Over 2.5 as my one and only bet today. :-)

  24. 02ba 9 years ago

The worst thing about betting on football is if the team ur backing is going to be on form and give 100% that game. Liverpool will definitely be up for this. And with the quality difference that should be enough. Evens is a massive price. I’m backing -1h/cp and Liverpool win btts.

    • mexicomarti 9 years ago

Well good luck with it, as i say goals is the bet for me as just how anyone can honestly say they can back Liverpool with any confidence is really beyond me. They have been awful most games and really struggling…even Rodgers said himself that confidence was very low and it was worrying just recently.

For me this is definitely one of those banana skin games playing a team on top of their form and full of confidence, freely scoring and playing good football according to reports…..the complete polar OPPOSITE to Liverpool……

As i say good luck and hope you win too, i’m not having a go at you, just in general about Liverpool, after all we’re all here to beat the bookies…..as long as there are over 2.5 goals i really do not care,

Poor night from me- apologies for anyone who followed

    Over night double

Blackhawks and Canadians (NHL) is my overnight double (not treble tonight) and at evens we hopefully will wake up to a pre today stake again

    Like tonight never happened

    Gl if you follow it

    ********************************

Well yesterday’s trebles were a bit of a shocker if you were betting on 60mins, if you were on ft and o then you would have faired quite well.

I already said sorry for the poor picks and waking up this morning I need to say sorry again, not because it lost but because I stated the wrong team I think. Not that this helps now but it was

    Blackhawks and Canadiens

Just a small spelling error on the second team but reading back on comments it threw a few people, sorry again. For those that did get on it then you are waking up to profit. And for me it means yesterday was a non loss day which I’ll take. Today’s tips will be up later

    ******WINNER********

Ps goes to show you dont always need a treble to get a good return, this paid well over evens :-)

Form wise they can beat Liverpool tonight. Everything points to a Bournemouth win, Liverpool can’t score

  30. Frank 9 years ago

Good day friends. I’ve got two in the Bundesliga for Wednesday.

    Hoffenheim v Leverkusen OVER 3 @1.95

Hoffenheim seemed to be the “go to” overs ” team last season but finding good spots for them this season to get goals has been slightly more difficult.

This game presents a good opportunity to see goals.

Hoffenheim is off to a good start in the campaign currently sitting in 7th place but with a win (excluding other results) can surpass Leverkusen for 3rd in the table. Their matches have averaged 3.2 goals per game this season after 15 games and they sit with the leagues 5th worst defense in terms of goals conceded. It won’t get easier for them v Leverkusen (I’ll get into that later)

Hoffenheim does have the leagues 2nd best home offense scoring 2.37 goals per game at home but having the 3rd worst HOME defensive record in the league has to be troubling for management.

Thanks in large part to the high goal lines we saw at the start of the season (based on last season’s results) Hoffenheim have only played over 2.5 in 7 of their 15 games BUT of those 7, six of them went over 3.5. Despite their decent start defensively, Hoffenheim is starting to look more like last season’s edition.

They have conceded 3 or more goals in 4 of their last 6 games overall (17 goals allowed). They have scored 3 or more in 3 of their last 5 games. Their last 3 home games featured 3-2 and 4-3 wins over E. Frankfurt and Hannover respectively and a 4-3 loss to FC Koln. So as you can see their ship has sprung a severe leak.

As for Leverkusen, they have only 2 clean sheets in 7 away games. Perhaps their biggest change this season has been in tactics.

Leverkusen’s manager Roger Schmidt in his first season as manager of Leberkusen is trying to put in place the similar attack minded system that he had in his last two seasons as manager at ‘goal factory’ Red Bull Salzburg. He won’t get to that level quite yet and in a tougher league will find it harder to get that blitz offense going but his intent is to formulate an attack minded athletic team. His tactics should work against an aformentioned Hoffenheim team who has started to leak goals in a big way.

Leverkusen looks to get off to quick starts and this is especially true against top half teams as they have scored first in 8 of their last 11 road games dating back to last season against top half teams.

Schmidt’s offensive intent is demonstrated in the fact that his team has averaged 18 attempts at goal per game in the league. This drops to 13 away but they still sit with the leagues 4th best offense in goals scored. Hoffenheim does concede an average of 14 shots at home. I should also point out that Hoffenheim averages 18 shots per game at home.

Looking back longer term, Hoffenheim have gone over 2.5 goals in 10 of their at 11 at HOME v top 6 teams and over 3.5 goals is 12-7 in their last 19 home games dating back to last season. They have only 4 clean sheets this season.

Leverkusen should put their offense on display to take advantage of a Hoffenheim team who has started to leak goals big time. At the same time, Hoffenheim has been scoring goals and they should get their chances as well in what looks to be a fairly open game.

    Game 2
    E. Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin over 3 @2.10

There’s a lot of statistical and situational data to support this play so let’s get right to it.

Talking about a team that plays over is one thing but finding a team whose games combine for 4 or more goals at a 71% rate is even more enticing. I’m talking specifically about E. Frankfurt who have seen 10 of their last 14 games see at least 4 combined goals per game. Within that number is also a relevant subset. 5 of their last 6 HOME games have combined for 4 or more goals (80%).

Hertha Berlin sit in the bottom half of the table just 3 points above the drop zone which provides another “over” go-to scenario; Frankfurt have seen 4+ goals in 5 of their last 7 HOME games against bottom half opposition have seen at least 5 combined goals. Over 3.5 goals is 5-3 at home v bottom six teams.

    E. Frankfurt have seen their games this season average 3.87 goals per game. They have scored 17 goals in 8 home games this (2.12 per game) but have conceded an average of 2 goals per game in their home matches. They rank LAST in the league in goals allowed on HOME soil so Hertha ‘should’ net here.

Talking about bad defenses, Hertha Berlin isn’t much better, allowing 25 goals in their last 12 road games dating back to last season. (just over 2gpg).

5 of Hertha Berlin’s last 7 away games this season have seen at least 3 combined goals with 4 of those 5 going over 3.5. They are averaging 2.28 goals against in 7 road matches and have the 2ND worst ROAD defense in the Bundesliga.

These are two of the worst defensive teams in the league (both sit in the bottom 4 in goals conceded) and I can’t see a defensive game.

Frankfurt have played 15 matches. 10 of those 15 have seen 4 or more goals. (only 4 finished with less than 3 total goals – over 2.5 is 11-4).

Hertha Berlin have seen over 2.5 go 9-6 in their matches but of those 9 games, 7 have gone over 3.5. They have allowed 2 or more goals in 5 of their 7 away games and their last 3 away saw at least 3 goals with two going over 3.5.

Hertha expended a lot of energy in their last game (a 1-0 home win v Borussia Dortmund and I’m expecting a defensive let down. Granted Dortmund aren’t having their typical campaign but that was still a big game for them as they managed to fend off many attacks.

Both teams average just over 14 shots against in their home/away scenarios while average shot attempts are similar.

A win could propel E. Frankfurt into 4th place while Hertha Berlin sits just 3 points out of the relegation zone so they will be chasing the win as well.

    Summary:

    Hoffenheim v Leverkusen over 3
    E. Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin over 3

I use sites like Soccerway, soccer24, flashscore etc. You get all the stats, head to head, overs/unders, general form, home/away form etc….basically everything you need.
Of course sometimes you can study extensively and the form book goes right out the window and you are left almost throwing the ipad or whatever out the window too as results come in that just shouldn’t happen….oh the joys of betting…ha ha…..:-) :-)

Folks remember that Liverpool could not beat Middlesbrough in full time. Wasn’t it in the same Capital One Cup that they struggled to beat Swansea? Anyone have any info on Guimgamp team news . They beat PSG last week and also PAOK away in the EL . They look a massive price @11/10 against Arles who have the worst home record in Ligue 2 and have lost 5 on the trot

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Bazza, they also reached the French Cup Final last season of course – it’s a good shout but needs team news to back it up.

  73. Attila 9 years ago

Simon, OFI are in relegation zone against a team just outside promotion zone…think ill take Kalloni double chance in the treble instead…unless there’s something you * the bookies know cos OFI should not be so short???!!!

    • Attila 9 years ago

@Simon, I’ve taken Kalloni at +2.0 handicap…neither side cans score, & Kalloni have best defense in league. Treble still sits at EVENS & will pay if Kalloni win, draw or even lose by 1.

  74. gooch 9 years ago

I’ve been reading that mignolet has been dropped again and brad jones will be in goal for Liverpool tonight. He’s a terrible keeper. Was sure Liverpool would lose to Man U on Sunday and this game is another I’m wary of as a Liverpool fan. Best bet is goals for me btts and btts and over 2.5 goals. All the best with your ss mr f but not something il be taking

  75. Frank 9 years ago

    ADDED BETS (all singles) j

    CAPITAL ONE CUP

    BOURNEMOUTH V LIVERPOOL

I’m not going to overthink this one. It’s easy to sometimes talk ourselves out of a bet when a team is struggling but the reality is that Liverpool are a class above Bournemouth and it will show tonight. If they play as they did v United they can destroy the hosts in this game. The reality is that the Reds could of and should of had two or three against United on the weekend but came up against man of thr match De Gea, who completely dominated that game.

Bournemouth can only dream of having a keeper that good and if the Reds don’t panic and play their game they should roll over their hosts tonight.

I handicap this game 3-1 based on my handicapping models and I’m not going to overthink it.

    TWO PLAYS IN THIS MATCH

    LIVERPOOL @2.07
    OVER 2.5 mg @1.82

    GERMAN BUNDESLIGA

I’ve got to get ready to head to the office so I don’t have the time to write this game up as I did my other two German games (full write-ups above). I’ve added one play:

    WOLFSBURG V BORUSSIA DORTMUND OVER 3 @ 1.95

So that’s 5 singles for me today and that will be it,

Beat of luck to everyone with their bets today.

Depending on team news, Guingamp, in great league form, away to Arles (bottom ligue 2) are excellent value at 21/20.

I may do them in a treble with Liverpool and Sociedad

  81. Alves 9 years ago

Think I’ll be sticking Liverpool win, Newcastle, Newcastle win double and small BTTS/WIN double, small stakes for an interest and hopefully get lucky again :)

    • Oggy 9 years ago

Betfair got enhanced double liverpool and Newcastle 9/1. Tempting. Can’t really understand why Spurs are such firm favourites for this one. Pochettino has already said he’ll rotate, Newcastle showing great cup and league form and will want to get back on track after arsenal game.

  82. Ad 9 years ago

Your SS wasn’t for me yesterday mr F but it was good to see it sail in at a great price. Today I’m risking going against you again, but I already backed Bournmouth days ago so if anything you’re going against me! :p I will wait until team news before sending any more money their way today, and the first five minutes could prove very revealing for anyone patient enough to wait that long

  83. Jack 9 years ago

Liking the tips. I put on Liverpool, Sociedad and PSG yesterday, so I’m glad you agree. I love Dortmund as many of you know and feel they have to pick up soon, so won’t back against them.

  84. AL 9 years ago

Guingamp look good value at 23/20 tonight in the French Cup away at Arles-Avignon.

Guingamp have won their last 4 games, including a 1-0 win over PSG at the weekend. Their opponents sit bottom of Ligue 2 with just 1 win in the last 10 league games, and lost 4 of the last 5 at home.

Guingamp to win @ 23/20 betvictor

or at good odds to throw into a treble

    Guingamp to qualify @ 4/7 bet365

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

AL, as I said earlier if Guingamp are full strength it’s worth taking. Right off to Xmas lunch No.3 – this time with junior tipping geniuses Paul Petrie and Owen Scott – so so check in later.

  85. gooch 9 years ago

Rumored Liverpool team is as follows:

    Jones
    Skrtel
    Lovren
    Toure
    Henderson
    Moreno

    Gerrard
    Lucas
    Markovic
    Lallana
    Sterling

Same formation as Sunday. Balotelli injured Lambert on the bench. Bournemouth haven’t got De Gea in goal so Liverpool should score. but with Lovren in defence and Jones in goal I can see Bournemouth scoring 2. They’ve scored 2 or more in their last 6 home games but depends on their line-up if the likes of Wilson and Ritchie are playing

  86. NAMELESS 9 years ago

Alls I can say is there is no glen Johnson tonight, and I wouldnt be surprised if our defence improved through that!
2 possible things to look out for are players to be carded at any time:
Moreno @ 2/1 BV – (rumoured to start) so many times I have seen him get booked already, he’s a decent little player, probably more of a left winger as he finds himself out of position a lot of the time this meaning he has to take the man out that gets past him usually ending in a booking.
Lucas @ 12/5 BV – (rumoured to start) with gerrard and Henderson playing in front of him so to say, Lucas is the player who’s sole purpose is to break up the play this also meaning that if the opportunity is there he has to go through that man, or pull him down.

I haven’t checked the ref for the game but as a liverpool fan ive seen those 2 players booked many of times. Just something to look at and please do your own research on it as ive done none and just bringing it to people’s attention

  87. Kay 9 years ago

On a bad run at the moment but hopefully end today, Super Heinz Score & Win

    1. Newcastle – Pardew seems to be up for it.
    2. Bournemouth (good value for form and venue against poor Liverpool side).
    3. Getafe – Better than Eibar should get through
    4. Wolfsburg – dortmund looking weak at the minute.
    5. Leverkusen – Easy Money
    6. PSV – At home they are good on the ball should win.

Hard to know what to expect from cup games this evening ,but will stick with fa cup matches that might seem a bit more important ,and throw in VALENCIA ,who should take this cup game seriously.

    VALENCIA
    ROCHDALE
    LUTON
    BARNSLEY @9/1

not too sure about what team chelsea or spurs will put out for cup games, but will be on a SCHURLLE/LAMELA DOUBLE @ 10/1

small bet on CHELSEA to sneak a 2-1 win at derby.@15/2.

i have to put a few quid on SHEFF UTD @7/1 who i think are overpriced at home. WON*
Hopefully get something back from that.

SHEFF UTD gave me a little profit back ,although still wiating on LAMELA for my anytime double ,prob wont start now.
My four teams were close with VALENCIA letting me down ,and chelsea could easily have stayed 2-1 ,only for red card.

Towards kick off in barca game ,went for the safer -3 handicap @9/10 which strolled in ,and pedro to score two or more@ 7/4.

Will post a few bets later ,A lot of good things about WOLFSBURG today ,and will have a bet on them to win @16/5.

Being a Liverpool fan hope your Super single success continues . Being totally honest understand everyone jumping on Bournemouth, but apart from result sunday. Liverpool played really well and could easily and probably would of won if that would of been sturridge on the end of things. Ive seen every game and that was more encouraging.
Best bet is btts, over 2.5/&3.5
I dont think Liverpool will lose

  95. Don2 9 years ago

Oggy Newcastle won’t be putting a full team out. We stated at the begining of the season that a long cup run would be counter productive to our season. Take from that what you will, we still beat a full strength city with a ‘weakened’ team

Sorry, call me ignorant, call me a United fan, but anybody backing Liverpool with the confidence that I’ve seen in some posts need to really think about what they’re doing. 5 losses, 3 draws, and 2 wins in 10 games. Wins against Leicester and Stoke. Draws against Basel and Ludogorets. There was a reason Mr F backed Basel DNB a week or two ago. Think it through boys. Bournemouth have lost once in 16 games. Wish you well.

with the greatest of respect Jordan.. what has happened last week, previous rounds, head to heads, who,s playing or not will have no bearing on tonight…its all about ” catching it on the day “… thats the brilliant thing about competitive sport…when we put our toe to the line we don,t know how it will go…. .. should be belter though..

  105. Danny T 9 years ago

Jordan I agree it has all the hallmarks of a banana skin and I am not confident of progressing. It’s a real opportunity to kick start the season and I think it’s a hard game to call. Bournemouth have fantastic they pass the ball well they score lots of goals Liverpool concede loads of goals we do have the potential to score ourselves so I think goals are the way to go it’s got a 4-3 feel to it as you know I am realistic in my assessments if Liverpool and try to remain unbiased can we win it ? Yes . Will we win it? I don’t know

  106. delpez 9 years ago

gone for a decent looking four fold today ,but will not go near LIVERPOOL,I think BOURNMOUTH will get a result ,i’m tempted to back them ,but 29/10 ,i might side with the draw.
    1-1 for me @13/2 .

    B MGLADBACH
    PSV
    SCUNTHRORPE
    SCHLAKE @12/1

gonna stick with WOLFSBURG for a single ,odds have changed to 11/4 ,but worth a bet .
    WOLFSBURG@11/4

  108. Wednesbury ay it 9 years ago

AFC Bournemouth and AFC Bournemouth/draw double chance. These are my thoughts on what I think are two great bets none of the ties from last night went into extra time but I believe this tie has every chance as Bournemouth will at least want to put on a decent display at home. Liverpool will want to prove a point to people and I believe they will but the Cherries will be no pushover and I firmly believe they will sretch Liverpool in to extra time. Good luck

  109. Rob 9 years ago

For people saying they couldn’t find the market for monza +1, for the future it’s the same as double chance. Just to make things easier for ya!!

  110. Wednesbury ay it 9 years ago

Sorry, first part should of read AFC Bournemouth draw no bet!

  111. Jordan 9 years ago

Harpreet, Danny, don’t get me wrong, Liverpool may well win and qualify tonight but with recent results I wouldn’t be confident in backing them against a team who are on a real charge. There’s one word that I used there that is key. ‘Team’ Bournemouth are playing as a team, Liverpool aren’t.

Danny I have to say you are very unbiased towards Liverpool which is a rarity and it’s better to hear that then somebody saying ‘Liverpool banker of the year tonight’. If Liverpool had come into this game on a good run then I’d be all over it but the fact is they haven’t. I’m not telling anybody not to back them, I’m just putting my opinion of why I’m not. I look at stats and see goals which is why its easy for me to take over 2.5. Which the price has shortened considerably overnight.

  112. Jordan 9 years ago

    BBC Sport.

‘Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is expected to name his strongest possible team for the League Cup quarter-final tie.

Howe has rotated his squad in previous rounds, but top scorer Callum Wilson is in line to make his first League Cup start for the Cherries.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will retain Brad Jones in goal, after dropping Simon Mignolet “indefinitely”.

Striker Mario Balotelli and defender Glenn Johnson are both ruled out with groin problems.’

    • Ad 9 years ago

Definitely with you on this one Jordan. I can’t come up with a single factor that makes me want to back Liverpool tonight. The only thing that looks good about them is their odds, and they only look good if you ignore the form of both teams!

As you say, it would be no huge surprise to see Liverpool nick a win tonight, but it’s not something I have any interest in putting money on.

Looking at the card I can see why Mr F has taken it as his SS, and he’s obviously on level stakes and knows it’s gamble not a banker, but it seems like some people on here are getting carried away and putting silly money on a bet that has every chance of losing. I’d wish them luck, but I’m already on Bournemouth!

Wolfsburg look a much more appealing prospect to me than Liverpool tonight. We shall see.

    Fancy Lyon to win.

  121. Rob P 9 years ago

Given the differing views on here, suggests bookies have priced the Liverpool game about right. I’m backing Liverpool though on the basis that they’ll be fielding a full strength team (near enough) and their class should tell. There is a big gulf in class between the Championship and Premier League, just look at Leicester (who Liverpool beat comfortably a couple of weeks ago)

  122. jamie180 9 years ago

Staying well clear of Liverpool.I don’t trust them against any team no matter what side they put out.I don’t think there’s such thing as a ‘strong Liverpool team’s because whatever side Rodgers picks they r very poor.and this is coming from a Liverpool fan

Liverpool beat Bournemouth in January by 2-0. Not as much confidence in them tonight.

  130. LewyT 9 years ago

Haha!! Max, you epitomise what I resent about some Liverpool supporters.. Great club with a poor team on poor form, but still such arrogance! As far as I’m concerned, they may well come out with a win, but I’ll be staying well away from the result market on that one!

  131. max 9 years ago

Lewy, how dare you! such arrogance we are the most humble and respectful fans in the world. I am not being arrogant I am simply confident we will win tonight. If you don’t believe me as mr Fixit see who is best bet of the night is, ask Harpeet who he fancies, 10pm tonight not only will I be filthy rich my team will be one step away from silverware. This is a bigger game for us then them, trust me they wont let the fans down tonight. YNWA

  132. Danny T 9 years ago

Max I have been a red all my life and whilst I admire your confidence . I am concerned mate that we lack the spirit that Bournemouth have they are scoring for fun. We are under a cloud at the minute and it’s easy to see both arguments I hope and pray you are right as I would love another Wembley trip but I am not anywhere near as confident as you .

  133. max 9 years ago

Danny my brother, I have enough confidence for the both of us mate :) I understand we are low on confidence but what do Bournemouth want more promotion or a semi final and extra two game? This they scoring goals for fun people keep saying what do they not understand is they are scoring against CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENCES. Honestly mate 10pm tonight we will be buzzin and those on Bournemouth or not backing us will come to realise 11-10 against a championship side was the obvious bet. YNWA

  134. Danny T 9 years ago

Max I inderstand the difference between championship and Premiership defences and there is a gulf in class but we care a premiership defence and we are very leaky also west brom are a premiership defence and they conceded 2 to Bournemouth . • Ad 9 years ago

It’s smart of you to be cautious Danny and it’s nice to hear someone being modest and unbiased about their teams chances. I am always un-blinkered when it comes to assessing Arsenal’s chances, and it often means i go into matches a nervous wreck!

Unlike you I don’t admire Max’s confidence as to have so much confidence in a risky bet is a recipe for disaster. I’m not saying you won’t all be celebrating later, but it’s foolish to assume you will be.

Max, can you honestly say that if you were a fan of any other team that you would be so sure of a Liverpool result tonight? I think some people are looking at this one through red tinted specs!

Max, I always put my hands up and admit when i called something wrong and applaud when someone else has called it right.

I would like to point out however, that if Liverpool do win it does not automatically make it the bet of the year. There’s such a thing as a foolish/lucky/unnecessarily risky winning bet (having lumped huge sums on a slumping team who end up scraping a very narrow win with a last minute penalty that never was for example!)

  140. Flickhead 9 years ago

Max dont know if you are old enough to remember Bournemouth v Man Utd 1984,that was only a third division defence, good luck with the bet fella.

    High stake, low odds!

Levante Liverpool double for me :)

  144. craigyboy 9 years ago

Try telling all the Bournemouth fans going to the game tonight that they don’t really want to win.
A potential semi-final v Sheffield Utd in the next round. Its a chance for them to get to the final!!!

  145. delpez 9 years ago

    Two games in bundesliga 2,
    Sandhausen v darmstat
Last 6 games were under 2.5 for away side including four 0-0 and two 1-0 wins ,home side much the same.
    Ingolstadt should win comfortably
Price is nt great but willing to have a bet on the double

    Sandhausen under 2.5
    Ingolstadt
    Evens.

  147. J 9 years ago

Love the fact Liverpool fans think its ok to loose 3-0 because the keeper was mom. Lol

  148. Danny T 9 years ago

Ad just trying to be realistic we could very well win but I am trying to search for some value in the betting . I think team news is going to be key as if we play a certain back four then I think conceding is likely meaning Liverpool would need 2 so BTTS and overs looks good and possible Lucas on the card market

  149. Deeman 9 years ago

    I’ve gone with

    Liverpool
    M gladbach

  150. Ad 9 years ago

Realistic is the only way to go! And if realistic isn’t possible, then pessimism is the safer option.

I had absolutely no interest in backing arsenal at the weekend and that was 1/2. I have even less interest in backing your boys tonight at double the odds! Cards and goals are more appealing. And lineup info is important as you point out.

Talking of cards, if Tiote plays for Newcastle tonight he will surely get booked.

    • Danny T 9 years ago

Tiote picks up more cards than a card warehouse employee

  152. Danny T 9 years ago

Raal good to see you mate . So you think it’s in the bag now for Davies. ? I was shocked today that they are keeping mcoist on surely that’s an untenable position now or is it that they can’t afford to pay him off?

    • raaljaca 9 years ago

Danny, Billy Davies may be put in place within Ibrox or tied up on a contract to begin when McCoist leaves which could well be up to 12 months mate. The 12/1 is well worth waiting for and even that 3/1 is worth taking. He could well be appointed earlier as admin is a distinct possibility now around January. I still have a lot of things going on which are so important to me but do keep an eye on whats happening whenever possible.

  153. Finchy 9 years ago

I’m an avid Liverpool fan but I also like to win bets so I’ll only be going for goals on our match tonight. Got a nice double of sheff utd and yeovil last night at HT which was 18/1 so I’m only spending the bookies money. Might go for a btts double in both cup games and maybe a btts and result double of liverpool and newcastle with a tiny amount of change. Obviously really want another Wembley trip but it’s hard to ignore what has happened recently, even if this is a cup tie.

  154. craigyboy 9 years ago

OH MY GOD!!!!! Here we go again, some ppl on here, who I shall not name incase im accused of bullying, spouts so much arrogance its unbelievable, Liverpool are on a big time low, defence is shot to pieces, goalscorers are shotshy ( when they actually play, whats with that?? ) Rogers has no clue what team to pick week in week out and for someone to say, But we are a playing a Championship defence, beggers belief…..Bournemouth are flying high just now, and I for one, have put MY MONEY, on Bounemouth to WIN.

mr f, not been on for couple of days as down south on business but cheers for last nites barca tip got 7/5 at 365 on it

    Afternoon gents

    Espanyol v CD Alaves 7pm

Although it’s a cup game Espanyol for me look well priced to win against a side who are only mid Table in Segunda! They are unbeaten in their last 7 home matches in La Liga and should be too good for CD! They were 4/5 this morning but it’s shortened!

    Back Espanyol 4/6

Not touching the game myself. Alot more ‘safer’ options tonight.

Right, now I’ve got tonight’s tip up quickly I’ve got a bit of time to write a proper message.

First tip lost today by a penalty so hoping the above tip fairs better, I’ve been on AL for 2 weeks hence the activity in the site has increased but back to work now, I’ll still be dining my tips while you still enjoy them but I won’t be as active as before. Just thought I’d share if interested.

Anyway onto tonight and really struggling to get a treble up for the football and its best not the force teams to make up numbers so tonight it’s just the the one football tip from me, albeit it pays EVENS so not too shabby.

    Frankfurt in the bundesliga

  187. thechief 9 years ago

Evening Guys, A lot of debate on the site about the Bournemouth and Liverpool game, I would be surprised if their wasn’t goals. Bournemouth are scoring for fun at the moment and it is a big chance for Callum Wilson to shine tonight, he as 10g in 20 and looks value at 2/1 Ladbrokes.

I think this a huge game for Liverpool, with Arsenal coming up on Sunday team news will be crucial. I think Liverpool O1.5g could be on. It should be an attacking game neither team will want extra time, and Bournemouth have conceded at least 2 goals in their last 4 home games, including Brighton who I watched recently and they were poor, Ipswich, Millwall and Cardiff have all gone to Bournemouth and scored at least two, so Liverpool will fancy their chances. O1.5g IS 4/5 Bet365

With all the talk regarding this match there are other games taking place and if he starts, I wil be on Harry Kane who has scored 11 in 20 games in all competitions and is 23/20 Betvictor.

In the FA Cup it is Worcester v Scunthorpe and while it looks a tough game for the league 1 outfit they have scored at least two goals in their last 7 away games, if they keep that stat up they will be hard to beat. O1.5g is 4/5 Bet365. In the goal scorer market again if he starts then I will want to be with Paddy Madden who as scored 8 times this season and he is 11/8 Bet365.

    WILSON TO SCORE 2/1
    LIVERPOOL O1.5g 4/5
    KANE TO SCORE 23/20
    SCUNTHORPE O1.5g 4/5
    MADDEN TO SCORE 11/8

Good luck if your having a bet

    Bournemouth v Liverpool KO 7.45pm

I agree with Mr F on this one bit will be focusing on corners! It’s a tight pitch at Bournemouth and given the importance of this match to Liverpool I would be surprised if we didn’t see some away corners!

Back over 5.5 Liverpool team corners 4/5 ( NAP )
    Over 5 Asian corners 4/5
    Over 10 match corners 8/11

I am taking Mr F s advice not to back the super single but to contest it because I don’t agree. Bournemouth according to sky are playing a full strength side and Liverpool have been rotten this year and whilst the are playing a club from the division below I think the value is in Bournemouth DNB at 7/4 on 365 and that’s my super single tonight. Good luck to all whatever you decide

  201. Satoshi Honder 9 years ago

Superb Shingle didnt land yesterday with Bayern failing to score 2 more goals to reign in the cash. 31 shots with 22 on target would normally suggest they’d score the extra 2.

My tally now stands in the above evens market at W3 L2 (in a row), and heres hoping to put a winning gap in those stats.

The game offering value tonight is Tottenham vs Newcastle Utd

Pochettino has already stated a rotated squad will be played as he has other commitments, meanwhile Mr Pardew will look to end Newcastle’s cup drought, even if there are rumours of he similarly wont be trying.

Newcastle will be the first premiership side Spur’s face in this cup run while this being the visitors 3rd after Palace and impressively Man City at the Etihad.
In both those games, Utd had scored 2 and this could be 3rd time lucky.

Adding to the above, Newcastle came here and scored 2 a couple months ago in a league clash against a formidable spurs team. I’d expect goals in this game and 2 of them belonging to Newcastle.

    Superb Shingle

Newcastle Utd to score 2+ goals 15/8 @Skybet

    Get down on it.

Really liking the look of Hoffenheim vs Leverkusen for goals

On quite a lot but the following looks like a decent bet

    Bellerabi anytime scorer @ 3.75

He’s Leverkusen’s top goalscorer in the league with 7 goals from 15 games and has a decent away goals record in games where Leverkusen have actually scored. Leverkusen have been patchy away from home but given Hoffenheim’s recent scorelines I would expect them to get at least one tonight.

The rumoured line up for Liverpool wasn’t far off with only coutinho in for Moreno. Is he really playing Henderson and coutinho as wing backs?! That Liverpool team looks so unbalanced. So many of the same type of player where’s the focal point? Surely lambert or balotelli has to start? 3 at the back but no recognised striker playing? Very strange indeed 7 midfielders!!

  226. craneguy 9 years ago

centrecircle, why would Liverpool start without a recognised striker again, I’m well confused………

  227. Jim Lad 9 years ago

Craneguy Rogers isnt getting enough movement from the central striker (lambert or balotelli) to create the spaces for the others (coutinho, sterling etal) to exploit. This is what they did well last season. Rogers now looking at other options to attempt to get some movement to mive the opponents defenders around…been far too easy for teams to defend against thia season…..you cant knock him at least he is brave enogh to try something different instead of just leave lambert up there to become the fall guy…

IN TOTAL I AM ON 3 MAIN BETS TONIGHT WHICH I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT WITH. I STICK MY HEAD OUT AND STATE I CANT SEE LIVERPOOL NOT GOONG THROUGH…IT WILL BE HARD BUT THE QUALITY SHOULD SHOW TONIGHT WHATEVER THE CURRENT FORM.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE – 1/1 @ Sky Bet – Prices may be better elsewhere however please check.

Feeling a Christmas booooooom tonight :-) Good luck all!!!

      STEVEN Gerrard for f@ck sake…

  241. malcolm caithness 9 years ago

These two met here in January in last seasons F A Cup which Liverpool won 0-2 but they had Suarez, Moses and Sturridge in team now none of them will be there as Suarez, Moses have left the club and Sturridge is out injured , Brendon Rodgers can’t afford to lose this game after that 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday so I expect a strong Liverpool side out and maybe Lambert or Balotelli and go back to 442 formation as his 353 did not work at back, Bournemouth are a attacking side and sit top of Championship although there main aim is to gain Promotion, Although a good run in cup will boost confidence, they’ll want to get one over another Premiership side as they knockout WBA 2-1 here in last round, a game they led in with a 49′ goal, WBA had to fight for equaliser in 85′ with OG, only for Bournemouth go up park from kick-off to score in 86′ So I expect goals in this match and can see ET

    bet draw @ 3/1 bet365
    correct score 2-2 @ 14/1 Ladbrokes

    small bet on both

  242. Jordan 9 years ago

If Liverpool manage to score twice and Bournemouth once then I’ll be a happy man. Just for the record I never once stated Liverpool wouldn’t win, I said I wasn’t backing it with reason. Main bet this morning was over 2.5 goals @ 5/6, now best priced at Uni-bet @ 9/11.

Fun £10 on Dan Gosling Anytime @ 9/1 @ Skybet. Top scorer in the competition for Bournemouth, joint 3rd overall, scored in an FA Cup replay in injury time as an Everton player against Liverpool in 2009.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Well done Mr F and anyone who got on Liverpool at Evs or bigger. As Mr F correctly predicted, there was a price crash once the strong Liverpool line was confirmed (and Bournemouth resting 8 players). I waited on the news so missed the price, and didn’t want to bet at odds-on. C’est la vie. But well done all you faithful (sounds like Xmas ;-) )

  294. Hudson 9 years ago

    *** Repost ***

I am taking Mr F s advice not to back the super single but to contest it because I don’t agree. Bournemouth according to sky are playing a full strength side and Liverpool have been rotten this year and whilst the are playing a club from the division below I think the value is in Bournemouth DNB at 7/4 on 365 and that’s my super single tonight. Good luck to all whatever you decide

    1-0 :)

    Back Espanyol 4/6 WIN :)

Now for some more corners in the Liverpool game!

well done whoever tipped gosling to score! and the liverpool backers are looking comfortable at the moment, well done.

my bournemouth bet looks like its going to sink but the goal bets are in and the corners will hopefully rack up.

took over 6.5 goals at half time @ 27/1 so that would really be a bonus!

CHOO CHOO CHOO CHOO All aboard the money train :D

LIVERPOOL TO WIN 11/10 ABSOLUTE BANKER, THE BEST BET OF THE YEAR TRUST ME :D :D :D

I said all day we would win because everyone banged on about their goal threat, WE WERE PLAYING A CHAMPIONSHIP DEFENCE.

It was good to see mr fixit on board and my brother Harpeet, brother Danny T, told u be confident. Pity lots of visitors left the game alone cos most doubted us they look like real plums now. Evening Lewy your quiet? haha

always nice to see a gracious winner! nowhere close to being the bet of the year mate, but congratulations on your win anyway!

i didn’t get home in time to see the first 25 minutes so my impression that it was a pretty even game is probably skewed!

well done to mr f and everyone on liverpool. still content with my reasons not to back them. reasons like “how many of their players would get in our team” and “gulf in class, playing a championship team” are not sensible reasons at all.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Ad, Bournemouth missed a great chance at 0-0 and at 0-2. When it went it to 0-3 Liverpool eased off a bit and Bournemouth scored, hit the post and missed another good chance. But Liverpool could have scored more in an open game.

    • Ad 9 years ago

That sounds like it about sums it up nicely Mr F. A classic case of waiting for team news being shrewd. I backed the cherries a while ago as I thought the price may come down, but once I saw their changes and liverpools 11 it lost a bit of its appeal. it was only goals for me from that point on. Could’ve been interesting if they’d managed to pull it back to just a 1 goal game though!

  332. Ritchie 9 years ago

Cheers tam. Another excellent SS from MrF & more??? G`luck.

Egypt Division 1 game between Al Nasr and El Raja at 3pm.

The home side have played 13 games this season and have lost 10,drew 2 and won just 1. They conceded in each one of those 13 games with the total conceded being 34 goals, they have scored 12 in 13 games so average nearly a goal a game.

the away side have played 13 games and won 4,drew 1 and lost 8. they have conceded in 10 of their 13 games with the toal conceded 22 and they have scored 15 times which is over a goal a game ratio.

10 of the home sides 13 games have been o2.5gls while 8 of the away sides 13 have been over 2.5gls

jordan spot on with that gosling goal from last night also mate and 3.5 happy days

  355. Greg Browning 9 years ago

    Maobi, My pleasure mate :)

Jordan some call with gosling sir! Looks like it’s been a decent night had my most!

Cheers Mr F, one of the smallest pitches in the championship, haha! Brilliant stuff tonight! Another SS in at a canter – full house looming with the ability to cover!

  356. max 9 years ago

Harpeet, thankyou mate, 11-10 was too good to miss said earlier this as paid for my family’s Christmas, and as I expected those calling me arrogant and doubting me are nowhere to be seen. My bet of the year lands and glad all those who kept the faith quids in tonight :)

Sorry for nicking your boom harpeet, but night like this when I have bashed the bookie I had to let it out :D

  357. Alves 9 years ago

Danny was only small stakes as under a fiver in Bet365 account but have cash, no money in account til Friday so that’s why shop bets this week. Got coupons when was in earlier and got safe looking homes 4fold of City, Spurs, Aberdeen and QOS and risky aways treble of Everton, Bournemouth & Oxford. Homes just under 7/2 & aways 9/1+ on Lads coupon so will be better online. Will be keeping stakes to a minimum this wk with xmas coming up tho and would advise anyone to do the same, unless you’ve got ££ to spare :)

    • Danny T 9 years ago

Craig it was unfortunate as if we had of attacked it would have been a decent shout mate

  358. maobi 9 years ago

Cheers Mr.F on the SS.. it was highly debated on here but won easily.. Yesterday’s SS also seemed crazy to me yet it came in..
YOU ARE THE BEST ALWAYS :D :D :D

  359. Juangoal 9 years ago

You’re on fire Mr F. Great work.

  360. Danny T 9 years ago

Mr f max and harpreet well done guys I am happy with that. Jordan epic with gosling . I had btts and overs so was happy with that I was one corner short from a better profit and I had Bournemouth to score twice and nearly . Well done guys

  364. Wyorkie11 9 years ago

Well done granah and Greg!! Cheers guys!!! Top work!

  365. max 9 years ago

Danny, we could have had an easier tie, but Jose wont be happy with it either. We can put it to bed now till new year and hopefully we all won loads of money, I had my biggest ever bet on us tonight, I was that confident would have been sweating had they scored at 2-0. YNWA

  366. jhole 9 years ago

Im looking at the sporting crystal game too, anyone jumping on it?

  367. Alves 9 years ago

Newcastle goal away from £25 on double with liverpool 3-1, that was 14/1 tae :(

  368. Jimmybeee 9 years ago

Newcastle goal away from £25 on double with liverpool 3-1, that was 14/1 tae :(

  369. Jordan 9 years ago

Clean sweep Mr F good stuff!

Darran, Greg, Danny cheers lads was just a fun bet but a worthy of a tenner.

Goals were they way for me tonight and wish I had put a smaller stake on the 3.5 but 5/6 was good enough for 3! Max I’m here mate don’t need to be anywhere, never stated Liverpool wouldn’t win, merely stated why I wasn’t confident on the SS. Not everyone is going to agree and felt there was value elsewhere and everyone ended up profiting so good stuff and on we go!

  370. Wednesbury ay it 9 years ago

Apologies for thinking AFC Bournemouth would push Liverpool to extra time it did.nt look as though it would happen and too much in the tank retaind by the reds. Well done to those who backed Liverpool I will accept my doughnut of the day award graciously. Good luck.

  371. gooch 9 years ago

Again well done to the people who backed Liverpool and mr f while so many people (including me) doubted it. I took btts and over 2.5 and Bournemouth to score 2 or more which was so close to landing. In the end small profit but could have been much better.

Kyp77 if you have nothing positive to add then shut the f#&k up hate that sh#t

  377. Ad 9 years ago

Good to see such pathetic stuff from you on here again Kyp! And no, I’m not talking about your tips, though I could be. I would have hoped that even if you weren’t mature enough to resist mocking craneguys tips that you would at least be sensible enough to save it for a day when yours didnt tank too.

  378. mlac 9 years ago

after seeing the lineups ive swapped spurs to qualify for liverpool to qualify

    liverpool qualify *won*
    psv or draw *won*
    real sociadad qualify *won*

    1.11/1

    had a 100 on this….psv had me sweating :D

  379. TamD 9 years ago

It’s amazing to see how quickly vox populi swings one way or another. In the end, all tips are for free. Take them or leave them – it’s your choice.

  380. Sean Ireland 9 years ago

Has someone been swinging their handbag in an aggressive manner?

  381. Ad 9 years ago

Bullseye. I like the emlec pick. But looking at the stats from the reverse sporting cristal fixture it doesnt give the impression they bossed it. Less shots, 0 corners to 8 and only 33% possession…. Stats can lie of course. Did you watch the game?

  382. kyp77 9 years ago

didn’t see such response from you guys when he mocked my tips about a hundred times….but when i do it once …10 messages of hate pop up ..way to be unbiased…feel good about yourself now

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

kyp77, you bring it on yourself to be honest.

    • Ad 9 years ago

Kyp I have genuinely never seen him insult you other than in response to an insult from you. And when I saw that I criticised you both. If that’s biased god help me.

    • kyp77 9 years ago

if you didn’t know the facts … you should have reserved that vitriolic response……

    • kyp77 9 years ago

you didn’t criticize me….you insulted me for insulting him…….so if you insult me for insulting a third party (him)…why me insulting him for continuous unprovoked insults towards myself is unwarranted?

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

kyp77, why start it again tonight? If it continues I’ll have to end it.

    • kyp77 9 years ago

      banning is always an option…..

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

kyp77, to be honest you’ve asked for it. Good luck with your future bets.

  383. Sean Ireland 9 years ago

kyp i dont know anyone on here so ive no reason to hate anyone, hate my bookmaker but thats about it ;)

  388. Ken 9 years ago

Kyp77 don’t respond to negative comments be the better man we are here to beat up the bookies not each other, nothing against you, I just don’t like to see someone gloat over someone else losing money, what’s the point?

  389. Scottylfc7 9 years ago

Emelec btts and overs 15/8 looks great to might add it to Santa Fe doubles and singles

    • Gordon 9 years ago

      I’ve gone with:

      Sporting Cristal +1.5 Team Goals

      Barcelona SC v Emelec BTTS

      12/5

  390. Scottylfc7 9 years ago

  392. Ken 9 years ago

Looking at tomorrow’s card benfica v braga btts 10/11 looks appealing

  393. Scottylfc7 9 years ago

Sporting crystal over 1.5 tg 4/5 nap look at stats average over 2.5 at home lol Juan concede average of 1.67 away I’m on that

    • Gordon 9 years ago

I think Sporting Crystal v Juan Aurich is being played at a neutral venue…?

  394. Barney 9 years ago

Barcelona and emelec matches tend to be low scoring. Can see this being a 1-0 affair.

    • Gordon 9 years ago

Head to head does suggest this.I guess this is why BTTS score is 1/1…?

Barcelona SC have scored in their last 9/10 Home games.

Emelec have scored in their last 9/10 games.

    • Gordon 9 years ago

      * Emelec have scored in their last 9/10 away games.

  395. Scottylfc7 9 years ago

    Little stake on 2.5 5/2 :)

  396. Simon wright 9 years ago

Hats of to Mr F for some great tipping this evening, certainly helped to cover the losses on my own tips which were let doen by one goal ( in each of my 3 tips today) so going to sleep with another no loss / no profit day which given that my tips haven’t achieved the normal win ratio over the last few days isn’t so bad.

Onto the overnight tip and let’s see if we can wake up happy for the 3rd morning in a row .

We are in the USA for some NBA Basketball and my tip is

    Dallas Mavericks
    Miami Heat
    Portland Trail Blazers
    Houston Rockets

Personally I’ve gone for an £8 Yankee which has cost £88 with a maximum return of £243.

If you prefer the treble then I’d drop Miami

If you prefer the double then add in Portland to the drop list

GL if you choose the above and if so, let’s hope we wake up happy

Night all , early train to Peterborough awaits

  397. cobramint 9 years ago

Cheers for the tips Simon. Where you getting on? I’m driving an early train to p’boro tmrw so might see you….if your overnight comes in and you hear your driver say Boooooom you’ll know its me :-)

  398. Ad 9 years ago

Ok cool, cheers for that Bullseye.
I might give them a little go on that endorsement just for some overnight entertainment.

  399. nclsn 9 years ago

sporting cristal v juan aurich predictions?

  400. Simon wright 9 years ago

Cobramint – come and say hi if your in it fella , I’m on the 8.06am from Kings Cross. Coach K seat No7.

Don’t have a go at me if the bet loses tho :-)

  401. Barney 9 years ago

    Barcelona v emlec
3 out of the last 6 head2head have seen 1 goal or less. The last 2 head2head have finished 1-0 to barcelona.

Of barcelonas last 8 matches, 6 have seen 1 goal or less.
of emelecs last 8 matches, 5 have seen 1 goal or less.

Again i say, these two teams tend to have low scoring matches.

  402. Allan Swasta 9 years ago

Come on guys ,chill off (kyp 77 and Ad) . lets. Jst get back to the tips.

Anyway, very bad day for mi…one of those okward days where everyone else is jubilant and your gloomy..ANyway, killing that off with a big bwt tomorrow.

*AJAX Vs vittese …. Ajax win
*NAPOLI Vs parma …. napoli win due to there form
ATH. BILBAO Vs alcoyano…. Bilbao win (seems too obvious)

  403. Barney 9 years ago

Those are match goals by the way and not team goals.

  404. Danny T 9 years ago

Kyp and ad your both sound guys just leave it and on to the next day of beating bookies its a pointless disagreement with no resolution . Keep peace and enjoy the site fellas best of luck to you both tomorrow

  405. Attila 9 years ago

MR FIXIT, congrats on the full house…well done mate! In hindsight wish id gone full stakes, but had I done that 1 would have failed ;-)
