NEW YORK GIANTS attempt to stop the rot in the Monday night NFL clash when they travel to Miami Dolphins.
The Giants have lost three in a row – most recently a painful overtime defeat to city rivals the Jets – to pile the pressure on head coach Tom Coughlin.
They're hoping for a change of luck against a Dolphins side who are no great shakes either and prop up the AFC East with the same 5-7 record as Coughlin's team.
Dolphins head into the game on the back of a win over Baltimore Ravens and are 6-5 with bet365 for victory against a Giants side chalked up at 9-11 by marathonbet.
Giants' superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham is favourite in the any time touchdown market at 11-13 with bwin followed by Dolphins pair Lamar Miller (11-10, Unibet) and Jarvis Landry (5-4, William Hill).

Durants total points, rebounds and assists came in but couldn’t get enough boards and three of the four NBA bets I picked out earlier in the day landed. No prizes for putting thoughts though.
Can’t complain after the Sunday I had thanks to the earlier NFL winners. No work today so will have a quick browse when I can for tonights MNF game. First thoughts are OBJ to shine in primetime against a bad secondary. Lamar Miller could also have a good night on the ground but those are just off the top of my head. Think Miller was about 65 total rush yards when I checked yesterday morning so will have another look later.

(This is Korean womens Bball) – these 2 have both gone under this total in 3 of their last 5, and both their matchups so dar this season have easily one under todays total.
I took Woori at -9 on the spread as they covered it by almost double in every previous meeting. Looks like we’re both off to a bad start.

Hunter, any thoughts on the Panathinaikos v PAOK game? I’m kinda swaying towards PAOK +15.5 after their impressive win over Saratov last game. Panathinaikos have been pretty awesome this season though defeating Barcelona a few games ago so its a tough one to call.
Just looking at this just now mate. I understand your reasoning but it’s difficult to take Eurocup into consideration when betting on league games. From the last 4 from 5 H2H Panathinaikos have won by more than 13.5. I’m edging towards Panathinaikos covering this @ 10/13. It’s a tough card in Europe today and I wouldn’t have touched this game normally. Don’t have much time today but will try and have a closer look before the 15:30GMT tip-off.

I wrote down 11 alternate team points totals and Kansas were one of them to get 23 or more, but because of the rain I decided to just take the alternate spread. Was lucky too as they were high on the list. Only three teams who failed were the Chiefs, Bucs and Broncos.

Hey Hunter just wondering what makes you keen on Strasbourg? They have a terrible away record, havnt won on the road in a while…
Won 5 of 6 last H2H. Was impressed with how they disposed of Gravelines in their last league game. Watched Le Mans on quite a few occasions and they seriously lack discipline in big games. Admittedly, away form is poor and was originally going with Tel Aviv on the spread. Poor card today and just went with my gutt more than anything.

A bit too hopeful but I believe in Odell.Hopefully he shows why he is regarded as world class.
MNF sees two sides still in sight of a payoff run, but a loss for either side could put a thorn their attempts to do so with one team seeing their record slip to 5-8 when its all said and done. Their is a case for all props to land tonight with both sides hopeless on the defensive end. Last week Lamar Miller had 20 carries on the ground for 113 yards against a fairly good run stuffing defense in Baltimore. Tonight he’ll have his moment in primetime against the Giants who aren’t the best at stopping the run but also not the worst. What they will want to do is to keep the ball out of Eli Manning and Odell Beckhams hands, and the best way to do that is to run the football.

Ye Jazz are at Spurs I think they will win by double digits tonight Jazz coming off the back of a really close game last night and Spurs are beasts at home.
I think it’s another tough card tonight some evenly matched games.
Pacers should win at home but I wouldn’t be confident backing against the Raptors at the minute.
I think the Heat are getting a big head start against the hawks
Magic Portland and grizzlies should win but again there not easy games and could go either way.

I just feel that Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr are going to be the difference here. Giants also tend to hit form at the right time, it’s going to be close but I’m giving the edge to the Giants. Tampa Bay are a better side than the Jackets and the Jackets haven’t picked up a single win using their back up goalie.

But the fact of the matter is neither of these teams play great defence and the Giants have been known at letting games go in the fourth quarter. Should see a few points put up from either side. Just curious mate what your strike rate is using this method because it sounds solid, choosing 2 or 3 games you think will be high scoring and backing the lowest total makes a lot of sense and I might try it
Shotty, I switch between this totals technique and a slightly bigger single if I like the looks of one. Typically I would put 1pt on the treble and 2.5pts on the single.

Looking to tonight’s game I like OBJ’s receiving yards.
PP offering 5/6 on over 103.5 receiving yards.
Looking at the stats he’s smashed it for a fair few weeks now.
I know there’s more to it than stats. Would be interested in more expert opinion though as I’m just starting to learn this game.
Tannehill over 244.5 passing yards stands out to me tonight.
They are ranked dead last in the league in passing yards allowed, giving up 314.5 yards a game. To put this into perspective, Steelers are ranked 31st in passing defense and they give up 279 yards a game.
Tannehill is by no means a pocket passer that hangs around in the pocket for receivers to get open, however, against a below average pass rush tonight, he will probably have a bit of time to go through his progression. Yes, his last game, a 88 passing yards outing shouldn’t fill anyone with confidence but I do think the Dolphins will come out and have a go at the awful passing defense.
With Landry and Matthews, they have 2 players capable of taking the roof off and stretching the field to set up the underneath plays for Cameron as well as Miller coming out of the backfield.
Pretty tough card tonight..but here’s what I’m playing:

Really think this could be a high scorer tonight. Miami seeing the money now too. Tempted to take over 22 Dolphins points. Weather will be good, not too much wind, not great defense, not much pass rush. All points to a high scorer. One of those games you could pick 10 props and they all land in my opinion.

May try and cover NFL and NHL as you guys seem to have NBA nailed down to a tee. Well called on the NFL too Jordan, your tips are always helpful, am I biased or do you believe the Packers can do it this year too? I can’t see the Panthers winning it so it’s Packers or Patriots for me
I don’t to be honest mate. I don’t think we can beat the Panthers again, and the Cardinals will be another team who will be tough to get past in the playoffs, but we play them anyway before the playoffs even start so it’ll be a good measure. Home advantage will be key and I don’t think we’ll get it. But hey, last time we won the Super Bowl we did as a wildcard team so who knows. Panthers for me at the moment though. Too good in all aspects.
Ah yes the Cardinals…I knew I was missing a team! I don’t know I trust Lacy and Rodgers. I just really can’t see the Panthers winning it personally, I will pick my time but if they make it to the Superbowl I will back against them…just a hunch. I’ll probably look silly in 2 months time!

Nothing stopping you from posting mate. I pretty much have to hold the fort for the NFL now. A few other lads do post but I haven’t seen the chief since the new site went up and he was the only other guy who takes it seriously. Lee and picksix don’t post as much anymore. I’ve made about 70+ points on the NFL in the past two weeks though so I’m not fussed.
My posts of the NBA are more speculative though. Seem to do well on the NFL and used to play hockey so have always paid attention to the NHL! So I’d rather stick to those.
Used to post on the football thread of the old site but took time out to gather information on other sports etc. So I know all about you, Chief etc. You’ve been banging it out the last couple of weeks pal…
