GREG’S had a couple of days he’d like to forget but luckily for us he has days to remember.
He says: “It’s been a frustrating few weeks, good days are quickly cancelled out by poor days so looking to make it a good Saturday!”
Dundee United v Partick Thistle
If you have watched United’s last few games it’s criminal that 1) they haven’t won and 2) they havent scored more. They have relied heavily on Billy Mckay and he’s the only United player to score in almost 100 days.
He’s still scoring but boy has he missed some absolute sitters and at least five one one ones. United are playing well enough but just haven’t been clinical.
Today they welcome a Thistle side who couldn’t buy a goal at the start of the season but are on a good run of form having suffered just one defeat in their last seven.
They battered Killie 5-2 last week and will be full of confidance against the basement boys but United aren’t far away from finding three points. Both teams should be contributing to goals, especially United if they can find their shooting boots.

Swindon v Rochdale
It’s been a horrible season for for the hosts, a run of 10 defeats and two draws from 12 games saw them plum it to the bottom end of the table. Things look to be on the up though! Three wins from their last four and scoring goals! The last four meetings against Rochadale have all seen both teams score and there should be more goals on the cards today, especially from a revitalised Swindon!
