BRANDEN GRACE has set a scorching pace at the Alfred Dunhill Championship with a stunning 10-under 62 that's seen him cut to 7-4 favourite.

The South African upstaged compatriots Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen who are both seven strokes adrift and now 12-1 for the title heading into Friday's second round.

England's Danny Willett, looking for back-to-back wins, kept up his hot steak with a 66 and is second favourite at 4s. And English rookie Matt Ford performed heroics, delivering a 66 just weeks after being set to take up a job as a postie.

Thanyakon Khrongpa tops the leaderboard at the Thailand Open where Lee Westwood is one shot adrift and Sergio Garcia two back.

England's cricket team bagged victory in the ODI yesterday over Sri Lanka, who now lead the seven-match series 3-2, and today it's the turn of Pakistan v New Zealand. The Kiwis lost the opener and are 7-5 to level the series today, with the hosts 8-13.

Other sporting highlights include Lisbon Open snooker, ITL tennis and and the usual busy night of NBA action.

Good luck if you're having a bet and post your sporting tips and chat here.

Branden grace is he worth a punt ? No doubt the next 3 days will find him out . 7/4 is far too short in my opinion on a 4 day golf . After day 1 . Does anyone have any golf tips for this event . Good luck folks

  2. Scott Allot 9 years ago

Mark, I agree 7-4 is too short a price to back Grace. Schwartzel is worth a look at 12-1, he’s won this event the last two years in a row and loves the course. A low round on Friday and he’s right back in the hunt. Also, Willett is in great form and won in South Africa last week

  3. huggybear 9 years ago

Going for my 6th NBA NAP in a row.

Will post later . Hope a few did the thunder -4.5 as I suggested

    • Attila 9 years ago

I was about to then went Cavs +4.5… Gonna stick with ur Naps huggy!

  4. leecunliffe 9 years ago

Jordan appreciate your efforts that must have been one hell of a boring game it’s been long time since no td were scored in a game normally get around 40/1 for that

  5. Attila 9 years ago

Should have taken advice on here and taken Thunder. Cavs let down my $8.00 treble.. Didn’t know LeBron James out until 5mins after placing my bet… Ah well!

  6. huggybear 9 years ago

gonna go for NAPS 6 AND 7 tonight , hawks are buzzing right now and think they`ll see off orlando and cover the ten , the other and stronger NAP is boston to beat the knicks and cover.

Gotta come to an end sooner or later , but its a hell of an NBA run 5 in a row.

good luck if you fancy either…

Well i was hoping wake up and see something like 27- 17 Rams with my Cook yards and TD bets having flown in. 12-6 cardinals… what the F is that!? My only consolation is that I didn’t have to sit through it. My condolences Jordan mate!

  8. Jordan 9 years ago

Lee that’s some price. I expected it to go under but not that under. Sorry about the yards Ad we’ll get it back Sunday.

Prop markets starting to appear for Sunday which is good.

TY Hilton (Colts) receiving yards are at 82.5 @ 10/11 @ Skybet.

Considering in the previous fixture this season, Colts won 33-28 in Houston with Andrew Luck throwing for 370 yards with TY getting 223 yards. Putting a small stake on this as its the only market up as it should be more like 95 considering Colts are at home (if the chief was around we’d be getting a C’MON MAN) TY had a big game against the Browns last week in Cleveland with 150 yards, targeted 19 times for 10 receptions, he would of had close to 200 but dropped one in the n zone. Houston rank 28th against the pass, 27th against receivers, with TY currently ranked 3rd in receiving yards in the NFL.

Joique Bell (Lions) over 60.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet

The Vikings travel to Detroit to face one of the best defense in the league. Bell rushed for 74 yards over 18 carries when Detroit traveled to Minnesota mid October. Detroit aren’t the best team at the run in the league but Bell has played a key role in the past couple of weeks, rushing for 174 yards in his last two games with 3 rushing TD’s. I think this is good value as the Viks are good against the pass but have given up 259 rushing yards in the past two weeks, with 497 yards over their last 4 games. (If you could clarify this as a decent bet I’d be happy to hear Lee).

Are they actually serious here? Marshawn Lynch (Seahawks) over 80.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet.

Lynch rushed for 104 yards against the Niners in the Seahawks win Santa Clara on Thanksgiving. Lynch has rushed over this total in 4 of his last 5 games. Latavius Murray (Oakland Raiders RB) totaled 76 yards in the Niners shock defeat in Oakland last week, with Alfred Morris of the Redskins rushing for over 100 yards. Lynch is ranked the 5th best RB so far this season. Niners will not get anything from this game. Kaepernick choked in his own stadium and the Niners haven’t looked good for weeks. Losing to Oakland, only beating the Redskins by 4 points, and the Giants by 6 points, they’re really going to have to step up against the Legion of Boom who are really starting to show why they have that name after looking average throughout the season.

LeSean McCoy (Eagles) over 82.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet.

McCoy rushed for 159 yards in the win in Dallas on Thanksgiving. Can’t see Chip Kelly changing his tactics in what was a big divisional win for the Eagles. Dallas are unbeaten on the road, that may end but I’ll take my chances on McCoy who is the 4th overall RB in the league. He was held to only 50 yards against Seattle but they are the best rush defense in the league. If you take that game out he has rushed 377 yards in 3 games. Should have another good game against the Cowboys who give up 113.1 yards to RB’s per game.

These won’t be my only props for the weekend and I’ll add as they come up.

If anybody wants to try and get one over Skybet. They have Brandon Marshall (Bears) yards available. Maybe they don’t know that he’s been put on the injury reserve list with a collapsed lung and fractured ribs. So a bet on under might be worth it (I know on WillHill that players have to be suited up for the bet to count but not sure with Skybet).

  9. Jordan 9 years ago

And as if by magic they remove the Marshall market. Swear bookies have staff watching this site.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Jordan, doesn’t happen – if they take away it’s down the whole picture not us. We’re a very small part of it after all.

    • Jordan 9 years ago

I actually thought the site was bigger than what the comments show Mr F with the traffic you said it gets. Not to worry was just an observation. It’s just twice in two weeks I’ve caught Skybet out so was only a theory.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Jordan, our traffic is good and growing all the time but I don’t believe any bookie reacts to a comment on a site – and remember bets are taken worldwide which is why I said we’re a small player.

    • Jordan 9 years ago

Mr F don’t underestimate the power that is this wonderful site :D
For a free tipping site I don’t think there’s a better one in UK. Like I said it was just a theory as it happened twice in two weeks.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Jordan, I know it’s popular – I don’t know how other sites fare. Anyway, need to head to the office for a busy night – and it will be a bit mental when the Rangers game finishes and we see what’s happening with McCoist.

  10. Jell 9 years ago

Jordan, don’t think you saw this, I posted it on the other thread!

Cheers Jordan! B365 weren’t giving odds on 5.5… probably would have gone for a little bit on it if they had of! So glad I decided to go to bed instead of watch that game though! Did you get on the field goals?

  11. Eddie g 9 years ago

My friend at the BBC says Lewis Hamilton is over 4000 votes ahead of Rory mc. Get on Lewis at 7/4 it won’t be there for long and get voting for easy money. Common Lewis. Benny knows him !!

  12. Jordan 9 years ago

Mr F I said that like I compare it to other sites but that isn’t true as this one is so good. I found it almost a year ago and haven’t been on others since. There’s no point. With you, Raal, Greg, Damo and many others helping in that space of time it’s turned my dodgy accas into extra funds for my little boy each week so I thank you for that and long may it continue. All the best for tonight but there’s too much going into it from mixed parties and I’m not clued up on the Scots but wouldn’t back against you.

Jell I didn’t mate but I took the over 3.5 so thanks for that as it covered my Cook yards with a small profit.

Eddie there was somebody asking between Mcllroy and Hamilton a couple of months ago and I suggested Hamilton as you can’t compare the two sports. Hamilton risks his life each week as break neck speeds where as Mcllroy walks about on a golf course I didn’t have a bet on it myself but I think Hamilton was about 5/1 @ the time.

    weekends boxing

    Erislandy lara v Ishe smith

Lara is a cuban master boxer, smith is experienced former champ who is crafty and is unlikely to give up and let lara get the stoppage however, it’s unlikely he will win more than a round or 2 agaisnt lara

    Lara Points 2/5

    Amir khan v devon alexander

This is a much closer fight than people are suggesting. Khan seems to be looking past alexander which could be very dangerous for him, alexander is no chump, he has only lost to boxers that bully him, he has survived against the hardest hitting men in boxing matthyese and maidana, so a khan stoppage does not seem very likely.
Does alexander have the power to stop khan? with his notorious ‘glass chin’ possibile but unlikely.

    Khan Decision 1/1

    Keith Thurman V Bundu

Bundu is 40 years old, he is unbeaten and has a couple of names on his record in gavin/purdy.
Keith thurman is a highly rated prospect and has good skills and good power.
it’s likely thurman will be patient and break bundu down and stop him in the mid rounds, however if you think bundu can use his ring IQ and craft to survive u can get 2/1 on thurman points

    Thurman KO 4/9

    Tim bradley V chavez

Bradley is considered a top p4p boxer in most ratings. he doesnt have huge KO power and chavez is a tough Argentinian who will look to bully bradley. Bradley however has an incredible chin and has survived devastating punishment from provodnikov and others. bradley to win a closely contested fight.

    Bradley Points 4/9

    Matt Korobov V Andy lee

Korobov has not lived up to his amateur pedigree, beating fellow russian kovalev and having a 310 – 12 record.
He is unbeaten although He hasn’t fought anyone near to andy lee’s level and vice versa Lee has never fought anyone with korobov’s skills

However every time lee has stepped up in class he has fallen short, in his last fight lee was being battered before setting a trap and coming out with a punch from absolutely nowhere and putting his opponent to sleep. Many people are suggesting this is Lee’s Time to become world champion as former trainer Emmanueal Stewart has always claimed.
You can get 3/1 on him just to win. Unfortunately Lee’s defence simply is not good enough and korobov will punish him.

Korobov will either get a late stoppage or win on points.
    Korobov points 6/5
    Korobov Tko/KO 8/5

Jordan, that’s good mate, glad I could help! About time I paid you back haha! Will have a look at sunday’s games on sunday but a few early thoughts are overs on Falcons, Eagles and Patriots games’, lots of TD’s in the Bronco’s game and maybe Jets to win over the Titans.

I’m liking your prop bets too, Jordan. Especially TY and Lynch!

    SUPER NAP SUNDAY NFL

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Atlanta Falcons 6:00PM

Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) over 270.5 passing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet

I was waiting for this to come up and was expecting over 300.
Big Ben has the second most passing yards in the NFL and averages 312 yards per game. Atlanta rank last against the pass and receiving yards per game, where as the Steelers rank second in both pass and receiving offense. I tipped as my 100% stake prop bet for Aaron Rodgers to throw over his total on MNF which he did. Rodgers who is on course for the MVP is only ranked 7th in passing yards per game. This game will be played in Atlanta’ Georgia dome so no wind involved. Pass galore for both sides with Atlanta also ranked 5th in passing and receiving offense with Matt Ryan teaming up with Julio Jones for a massive 259 yards on Monday night at the Lambeau. Jones listed as questionable with a hip injury but we’re only looking at Big

  17. honda 9 years ago

I’m still sayin 49ers under 14 points haha Likin Lynch the big man hasnt let me down yet

  18. Jordan 9 years ago

I don’t bet under in football so I wouldn’t in the NFL myself honda but I can’t see them scoring many.

  19. Jordan 9 years ago

Jell I think the Falcons game will go way over. I posted a bonkers bet on another thread that I put a tenner on @ 24/1 which was the Falcons, Colts, Ravens, Eagles and Bears games to go over.

  20. Jordan 9 years ago

It’s definitely close to Christmas. Bookies are just gifting us with props this weekend. Justin Forsett rushing yards are 80.5 against the Jaguars, but he’s had a niggling knee injury so I’m keeping an eye on it. Don’t worry I’m writing these down ;)

  21. Finchy 9 years ago

Looking ahead to Sunday, Jeremy Hill looks like a good shout for anytime as the Bengals have said he will be the main workhorse at running back now, so he doesn’t have to share as much with Bernard. Also, Larry Donnell for the Giants scored 3 td catches against Redskins last time out. They are 21/20 and 11/10 on 365 respectively atm.

  22. thechief 9 years ago

Jordan, didn’t tip on the game last night, I said to my mate in the bar on Wednesday night whilst watching the Man city game that one touchdown, could win that game, turned out they couldn’t even muster that. It looked an unders game but it actually sunk :)

    • Jordan 9 years ago

Chief I watched that shower the whole way through it was unbearable. I was waiting for somebody to break out in dance just for a bit of entertainment. I fancied the unders but just went with Cook, but shouldn’t of really trusted Hill after beating two teams who quite honestly aren’t that good. Nice to have you back. You on much for tomorrow? Don’t really fancy anything in the Premier League and not clued up enough in the Championship.

  23. malcolm caithness 9 years ago

Jordon try the olbg site mate you’ll make a bomb there for nothing cash wins free bets aswell

Malcolm I don’t really understand mate? I win enough through my own research, there’s only one site for me and that’s here.

  25. Jordan 9 years ago

Finchy you could have said that before. Skybet had his yards @ 50.5 :D

  26. Jordan 9 years ago

Ladbrokes have TY yards at 95.5. Chief those Skybet employees are handing out Christmas gifts early again!

  27. Jordan 9 years ago

Ladbrokes have Bell rush yards @ 75.5, Big Ben yards @ 320.5, a massive 50 yards difference. Ho ho ho Merry Christmas from all @ Skybet hahaha

  28. honda 9 years ago

How do the texans defend the pass Jordy?

  29. Jordan 9 years ago

Do you mean the Falcons or Houston Honda? Steelers are playing Falcons, who are last against the pass, Colts playing Houston who are 27th/28th against the pass. I’m also tipping Andrew Luck to get his passing yards for good reason. Big write up this weekend!

I’m not touching those games honda but I wouldn’t bet against either side.

  33. thechief 9 years ago

Jordan Overs on such low yards in the NFL game was probably the best bet, but lets says Arizona could look like being 1 n done in the playoffs. I sky+ game as was and read the score and deleted it on my schedule.

I not researched NFL games yet, usually do that on a Saturday afternoon watching Jeff n the boys, top off my head I think Luck has owned that Houston D, so TY looks good. Tomorrow, I like Benteke 2/1 and a O1.5 Villa goals at 3/1 looks like a C’*** *** could make its debut on the footy thread :)

  34. thechief 9 years ago

Jordan replied but in mod mate

  35. honda 9 years ago

Ye I meant Houston and yeah thats what I want to hear. With the double I just thought it looked a good nice simple double at evens lol time will tell. Feelin Lynch yards though still

  36. thechief 9 years ago

I think the C’MON MAN maybe the word that got banned, but it could debut on the footy thread tomorrow at 3/1 :D

  37. Dave P 9 years ago

    Treble for nba tonight:
    Atlanta Hawks -8.5
    Oklahoma Thunder -8.5
    Boston Celtic straight up win

    Good luck!!

  38. Jordan 9 years ago

Ahhh I spend enough time writing it on here, I’m not going to write it two places. Hopefully people can’t copy and paste from here.

  39. Jordan 9 years ago

Hahaha I’ll keep an eye out chief

  40. thechief 9 years ago

    MMMM stumped haha!

Jordan, not finalised my bets yet, but two I will be on is benteke 2/1 and I fancy Villa O1.5g 3/1 Coral. The last two at the Hawthorns been 2-2 and scored 3 against them in last game albeit at Villa park, they lost that one.

  41. Jordan 9 years ago

    HAHAHAHA

  42. malcolm caithness 9 years ago

    no bother Jordon

    • Jordan 9 years ago

Sorry Malcolm appreciate the heads up anyway. I just looked and their cash prizes for NFL tips are only £100 which is what I stake on a NAP so there’s no point.

  43. Jordan 9 years ago

Ooooh I’ll back Villa cards but not Villa goals haha

I might have a wee stake on West Ham to win but other than that I might keep my pennies. Have most NFL bets placed already, just waiting for a few extra markets. I think Skybet will be paying for next years holiday.

  44. thechief 9 years ago

Sorry Villa won that 4-3 I was focusing on WBA home record haha!

  45. thechief 9 years ago

Post stuck in mod, I was saying I think Luck has owned the Houston D off top of my head, so T Y cud be worth a look

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

      thechief, it’s on now.

  46. Jordan 9 years ago

Yeah 370 yards Luck had in their fixture ealry this season and TY had over 200.

  47. Jordan 9 years ago

Early NFL write up with best markets available at the moment. As always I’ll update with better markets but I’ve taken them at the totals given.

    NFL Sunday

Different approach this week. Mostly sticking to prop bet singles as a lot of divisional games, so we could see some crazy results. Have still done some alternative bets to keep me going through the day hopefully.

    Main Prop

Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers) over 270.5 passing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet

I was waiting for this to come up and was expecting over 300. He needs 274 passing yards to break his own team record in a season.
Pass galore for both sides with Bell getting screens who can have another big game, with Atlanta also ranked 5th in passing and receiving offense, Matt Ryan teaming up with Julio Jones for a massive 259 yards on Monday night at the Lambeau. Jones listed as questionable with a hip injury but we’re only looking at Big Ben.

    NB Props

    Le’Veon Bell (Steelers) over 85.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet

No explanation needed. 711 yards over 3 games averaging 237 yards per game total with no less than 5 TD’s. Produced for me two weeks in a row and I’ll be backing him with full confidence once again after seeing Eddie Lacy come close to getting his total Monday night. He is the only RB in the league with over 1,000 yards who is yet to fumble the football via rushing or receiving.

TY Hilton (Colts) receiving yards are at 82.5 @ 10/11 @ Skybet

TY should get even more targets this week with Reggie Wayne getting injured against the Browns. Hilton has really hurt the Texans in his career. 611 receiving yards (122.2 per game) and 6 TD’s over five meetings.

Andrew Luck (Colts) over 300.5 passing yards @ 10/11 @ Ladbrokes

The QB that leads the NFL in passing yards and yards per game (331) he’ll have the charging freight train JJ Watt coming at him but it shouldn’t phase him having thrown 370 pass yards in Houston and over the total needed in 5 of his last 6 homes games (10 in all 13 games) already stated how bad the Houston secondary can be having tipped TY to get his total.

    _______________________________________________________________

    50% stake Props

Joique Bell (Lions) over 60.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet

The Vikings travel to Detroit to face one of the best defense in the league. Bell rushed for 74 yards over 18 carries when Detroit traveled to Minnesota mid October. Detroit aren’t the best team at the run in the league but Bell has played a key role in the past couple of weeks, rushing for 174 yards in his last two games with 3 rushing TD’s. I think this is good value as the Viks are good against the pass but have given up 259 rushing yards in the past two weeks, with 497 rushing yards over their last 4 games.

He was held to only 50 yards against Seattle but they are the best rush defence in the league. If you take that game out he has rushed 377 yards in 3 games. Should have another good game against the Cowboys who give up 113.1 yards to RB’s per game.

Justin Forsett (Ravens) over 80.5 rushing yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet

The 3rd overall RB in the league will look to make a big impact on Sunday against the team who released him after a stress fracture saw him out for the season. He was released in March and picked up by the Ravens for a one year deal, and that’s where we are now. Rushing for 471 yards over 4 games averaging 117.7 yards per game, he will be coming up against a Jaguars D who are 28th against the rush (132.5 rysh yards per game) they’ve let slip 254 rushing yards in two games with Houstons Arian Foster and the NY Giants Rashad Jennings both going over this total.

    _______________________________________________________________

    Alternative Bets (WillHill)

    Colts -2
    Patriots -1.5
    Steelers/Falcons over 49 total points @ 17/10

    Detroit Lions -2.5
