FLYING Scotsman Gary Anderson rose to the occasion of St Andrew's Day on Sunday to bag his first major ranking title with a stunning success at the Players Championship.
The tartan tungsten technician did it in style, taking out Phil Taylor in the quarters and Adrian Lewis in the final, and couldn't be in better form ahead of the biggest event in darts, the World Championships later this month. Anderson is now 8-1 to conquer the world at the Ally Pally with Taylor 2-1 favourite and Michael van Gerwen 7-2.
You can also get 4-6 on the tournament winner being an Englishman while it's 6-4 a Dutchman and 15-2 a Scot.

No defense in in the league has allowed more TD passes than the 27 given up by the Jets. Ryan Tannehill, who has completed over 70 percent of his passes in six of his last eight games and hit 16 TDs in that span, it should be one of his easier contests this year. Tannehill threw 238 yards with 3 TD’s and 1 INT in Denver
Against a poor Jets secondary I expect Tannehill to have a lot of success in the air tonight. The Jets have averaged conceding over 25 points at home in 6 games (27.5 in all 11 games this season) with Miami averaging 25.6 points in 6 away games (25.9 in 11 total) Miami have won 3 away games this season (Jaguars Bears and the Raiders, scoring over 26.5 points in each game).
Miami went ahead 14-0 in Denver last week but 3 4th quarter TD’s for the Broncos secured a narrow 39-36 win. I just think with the Jets out of anything but pride and Miami fighting for a wildcard spot, seeing their performance in Denver last week. Miami should get the W here and give the Jets fans nothing unusual to go home to.

Nfl Monday night well I had a bit of a shocker yesterday too many results in didn’t see at all arizona losing, pittsburgh losing it was a bit of a mess of a day so I sculked away and hoped u guys had better night than me, great call chief on the denver game, all the money was coming for Kansas couldn’t believe they got pushed to favs by time game kicked off.least minnesota won and I only wish we were in the carolina division it really is a joke that so many teams with losing record still have chance of making the playoffs. Onto tonight and think we all agree that geno smith starting tonight is great for everyone wanting to back miami. The jets are in a mess right now and am surprised the handicap is only -6.5 you can almost be sure that will shift half a point. Miami bring constant pressure to opposing qbs so a pick or 2 is a must so special teams td worth some interest, the jets have been decent stopping the run this season but with wilkerson absent from jets stop unit there should be success on ground for miller, he ran very well against denver the second rank run defence so should have similar success today. Wallace over 55 is tempting, any idea how much of the game he gonna play, he a big target for Miami?
He’s their best WR honda. Had the most RECS, yards, carries over 20 yards, longest REC, most TD’s this season. Bigger target than Landry but Landry has the most YAC (yards after catch). Think Wallace is a decent bet who’s had a TD against the Jets in his last 3 meetings.

Just a stat on Lamar miller guys, he’s in my fantasy team and has struggled of late, don’t forget as bad as the jets are against th pass they have a tough rush defence! In his entire career he has never scored a TD or gone over 75 yards against the jets! And he’s only rushed over 100 yards once this season!
Last week against the broncos Miami scored 36 points yet he scored less than 70 yards
And as the jets do actually have a decent rush defence I expect tannehill to throw most of the night

The weather could get bad in New York tonight, and that could make the game closer than most think, however even on MNF at home I cant be with Geno Smith, he as the chance for a big night with the Dolphins missing 3 starters in the secondary, but Grimes is still out there and I expect turnovers from Geno. Miami O2.5 touchdowns looks a bet as before week 13 they had made more trips into the redzone then any other side they need the win to stay in the playoff hunt. O2.5 Miami TDs is 4/6 Skybet.
