NOTHING much stood out for me on Monday although of the games I looked at I picked a couple of winners and only one loser in Cork.
I didn’t take any as Bet No.3 in my latest £20 to £250 challenge which is up to £58.27 after two bets.
Today I’m mainly focused on the Betfred Cup in Scotland as the EFL Cup clashes look so hard to call.
After much thought I’m going for one that looks obvious and that’s Rangers -1 at home to League One Peterhead.
Gers flopped on their top-flight return against Hamilton on Saturday but have won all four Betfred Cup ties to nil and by at least two goals.
Mark Warburton will make changes but the players coming in – the likes of Joe Dodoo, Jordan Rossiter, Harry Forrester and Matt Gilks – will want to show their worth.
There is no question of Rangers holding back and they face a Peterhead side whose confidence must be fragile after opening their league campaign with a 4-0 defeat at Alloa. Rangers -1 will also be on my Top Treble.
This is the place for the challenges so let’s see what you’ve all got – and watch out soon for a long-shot challenge for members only.
Rangers -1 (7.45pm)
