TopTips_Ladbrokes

I ONLY looked at the four Champions League matches on Tuesday and managed to pick a winning double.

My only advised bet was both to score at Molde v Dinamo Zagreb and Ajax v Rapid Vienna and the two matches produced 11 goals.

I suggested Arkadiusz Milik to score for Ajax at just over evens as a potential Super Single but decided against putting it up which was a shame.

It's Champions League take two on Wednesday with 11 ties to look at including Qarabag v Celtic and there will be a separate preview on that one.

Only three clashes look over with Basel, Skenderbeu and Viktoria Plzen notching away wins. I expect Basel, 6-10 at William Hill, and Plzen, 8-13 at William Hill and bet365, to extend their leads but I'm not sure about Albanians Skenderbeu.

One of my Super Singles last week was Red Bull Salzburg -1 at home to Malmo and they covered it with a last-minute penalty.

The Swedes would have loved it to finish 1-0 and face a massive task overturning the tie. However, their home record in Europe is superb and could give the Austrians a fright after beating them 3-0 in the same competition last season.

Red Bull aren't as strong as they were a year ago and that's illustrated by the fact they've lost their first two in the league.
Malmo are 11-5 at bet365 to win on the night and it's possible. To qualify at 12-1 with BetVictor is less likely but achievable if they don't concede.

An incredible stat is the fact their last 11 at home in Europe haven't seen both teams score and no to btts pays 5-4 at Coral.

Bruges start 2-1 down to Panathinaikos and will hope to overhaul while Shakhtar v Fenerbahce is an interesting one.

The Ukrainians haven't reached the group stage since 2008 and are still playing hundreds of miles from their home city in Lviv. They have won just two of their last nine at home in the Champions League so despite a 0-0 away from home this tie is on a knife-edge.

Fener have attacking recruits Robin van Persie and Nani in their ranks and could qualify if they grab an away goal. The Turks tempt at 13-10 with BetVictor to go through while to win on the night they are 4-1 at Paddy Power and William Hill.

Having looked at the games more closely I'm going for another double and it's Astana to beat HJK and both to score at Sparta Prague v CSKA Moscow.

We know Kazakhstan teams are improving all the time and a trip to Astana looks tough for the Finns after a 0-0 home draw. Astana are on an unbeaten 19-game run at home and beat Maribor 3-1 in the previous round. Oh and it will be boiling hot too.

CSKA are being tipped in places but after a 2-2 draw in Russia both to score looks the best bet and hopefully it will be something similar to the matches at Molde and Ajax last night.

I'm hoping to put up a Super Single later when I get back from the golf but nothing stands out at the moment.

Some top class winners today lads – well done with your bets. Some redemption from me but still a poor week.

    HAUKAR V KA

    BTTS…8/15…won
    BTTS & OVER 2.5 GOALS…5/6…won
Over 3.5 GOALS…13/8…lost – sorry Crane was hoping for a late, late goal to bring that one in pal.

Late one and certainly an interesting one that should have a bite to it:

    BELGRANO V TRISTAN SUAREZ – KO 12.35.

1st plays 5th here and the top side are on the back of a 3-4 loss to 8th place Platense.

Prior to that they have been steady away, 1-0 wins being the order of the day in the last 3 and a draw before that.

Tristan play on the back of a win, 2 draws, a narrow loss to the 3rd place side and a big win against Almirante who lie 13th.

So, all things point to a home win…and a low scoring one at that.

I think we might see a game that goes against this, make your own mind up but odds are huge on the following:

    OVER 2.5…2/1
    OVER 3.5…6/1
    BTTS.. 13/8

I’ll be having a go at each and good luck.

  9. JoeT1987 9 years ago

Yea I thought as much! Not meaning to be picky, just wanted to check that facts are right so that it doesn’t sway anyone’s choices!

  10. The Lucky Filipino 9 years ago

Those odds are big for over 2.5 hull..similar to the banfield vs arsenal last night all pointed to unders.overs was same odds.bloody finished over 3.5 goals..
Might have a go on the over 2.5 2/1
    Both to score is 6/4

Alves, Palace could well be a good bet mate…think they will more than hold their own this season and hit Norwich where it hurts…

9/5 for the Palace win appeals…a squad that went throgh the mill and will make for a physically and mentally tronger side that already played good football.

  18. Jordan 9 years ago

Just a small interest on this. Malmo have it all to do coming back from a 2-0 deficit. Unsure on Salzburgs tactics whether they’ll sit and try to counter or go for an away goal to kill the tie. If recent form is anything to go by then Malmo should concede but history suggests otherwise. Either way Malmo will be the most hurried side and on their own plastic pitch I expect them to have the better match with Salzburg not being the team of last year although winning at home. Soriano is supposedly still not over his calf injury and questions remain on whether he’ll play. Malmos last 6 home games have brought up plenty of corners for the Swedes. 10, 8, 11, 16, 10, 11. That averages to 11 team corners per home game. With a Champions League birth on the line they’ll know what they have to do and if Salzburg sit back and absorb pressure I’d expect to see this corner total come in.

Liking the look of Basel game to be over 3.5 goals
    7/4 skybet..
Basel have scored 3 in the last 3 games 3-2 3-1 3-0 and maybe prone to let the one goal in to cover the 3.5 goal line..
Lech Poznan needs to attack to have any hope so Basel will have chances to pounce could be a goal fest maybe.what u guys think ?

  21. Jordan 9 years ago

Queretaro are rotated but a few first team names and subs in their starting line up. Should cause San Francisco a few problems. Be worth keeping an eye on. Still waiting on team news for Laguna and RSL. Should be within the next hour or so.

  27. Jordan 9 years ago

Real Salt Lake are going all out so I fancy them to get one, but the altitude might take effect in the second half so BTTS looks the best option @ 4/5 @ WillHill.

Laguna are yet to post team news which is unfortunate but will hang on for half an hour.

  28. Harry 9 years ago

I got on unders in 1st half and under 4.5mgs. Also under 3.5 and double chance San Francisco but that’s dead. The odds for goals were ridiculous, the 1st half line was set at 2.5

Santos Laguna/W Connection Over 2.5 Match Goals

    Just under 6/5 @ WillHill (1.18/1) – 2 points

  31. Dom 9 years ago

    Hi Jordan,

I went with Santos Laguna -2 and RSL BTTS, got it at 2/1. Was just because I agree with the over 2.5 but think that W Connection probably won’t score.

What do you reckon? Had £20 on the Queretaro game and got it up to £36 by doing half time draw. Then split it on 2-0 and 3-0 but cashed out the 2-0 for £48.20 as they looked certain to get a third. Now stuck the lot on this one for circa £150 return!

  32. Nick 9 years ago

That’s a nice start, just hope Muncipal don’t let us down!

  33. Jordan 9 years ago

Dom it was either Santos to score 3 or the match goals so hopefully they get the -2 for you. I think W Connection were being backed to score themselves.

Nick hopefully mate. The altitude should take effect second half. Don’t look too bad at the moment. Looked at RSL to score twice after the line up was released but thought it was a big ask.

  34. Nick 9 years ago

99 looks destined for a red card, plenty of good chances for either side so far!

  35. Dom 9 years ago

Santos are a different class to W Connection but know it and seem to be taking far too many shots atm. Few close calls, one just as I wrote! One will go in eventually and set the ball rolling I hope.

  36. Nick 9 years ago

Santos goal and then Muncipal hit the crossbar. :(

  37. Dom 9 years ago

    Yessssss let’s go Santos!

  38. Dom 9 years ago

Crikey that was very nearly 2 in 2 mins… Floodgates bursting on W Connection I hope!

  39. Jordan 9 years ago

Offft Municipal rattle the bar as Santos get their first.

  40. Dom 9 years ago

Offft Municipal rattle the bar as Santos get their first.

  41. Nick 9 years ago

How did they not score then…

  42. Jordan 9 years ago

Think that was our chance Nick!

Sorry Dom didn’t see that at HT. I would have been fairly optimistic still mate. How Laguna aren’t in double figures I don’t know.

  43. Nick 9 years ago

How were they favourites, played pretty awful all game.

  44. Jordan 9 years ago

Santos get a 4th too. Shame as I was going to take the 2.5 Santos goals with an RSL goal but it only paid EVS and thought Municipal would score. Hit the crossbar and probably should have put away that chance across the box but that’s football. Sorry bud.

    Municipal/RSL BTTS
Santos Laguna/W Connection Over 2.5 Match Goals

    Just under 6/5 @ WillHill (1.18/1) – 2 points **LOSE**

  45. Nick 9 years ago

Was a good shout statistically just a shame they fell to pieces.

  46. Jordan 9 years ago

Yeah that’s it. Been unlucky with my losers this month thus far. All let down by one goal but hopefully back up by the end of tomorrows MLS game. Night mate.

  47. Jordan 9 years ago

‘Two games that I’m looking at tonight that both kick off at 3:00AM. Real Salt Lake travel to Honduras to face Municipal so I’ll be waiting to team news to see if Morales, Plata and Beckermann are in RSL’s line up. The home side have only played one game since May so RSL although underdogs should give them a tough test.

The other game at 3:00AM is Mexicos Clasura champions Santos Laguna at home to Trinidad and Tobago’s West Connection who are yet to get out of the group stage in three attempts, losing every away game since 2009 by two goals or more. Laguna have started their season but had missed their star man Javier Orozco due to his place in the Gold Cup squad. I’ll be waiting on team news for this but if Orozco starts I’d fancy their chances of scoring three or more. The Trinidad side have not played since the end of May also and should struggle if Laguna put out a decent side.’

    10/10 for effort haha

    AUSTRALIA 11.30AM CUP GAMES
Sydney (2nd in last years APL) should win at Sorrento – also in their favour is the match is at the Perth Oval so will be on a decent pitch. Adelaide (4th in APL and cup holders) should thump Darwin (who have lost 3 players with broken legs!). I like Croydon Kings who are at home and 3rd in their NPL and in pretty decent form. I also like Rockdale City who have recently signed 4 former A league players. Perth have a huge trip to Rockdale (Sydney) and a +4 hour time zone change on a 8.30pm KO. So rather than goals I will try:
Croydon or draw, Rockdale or draw, Sydney win @Evens
Croydon & Rockdale Win (smaller stakes) @2.58/1
For Goals Darwin, Sorrento, Croydon > 2.5 @1.3/1

Will take a punt without team news having watched a couple of the pre-season games. These are friendlies so not huge stakes. Bayern looked great last night against AC Milan. With the attacking options of Gotze, Muller, Lewandoskwi, Robben and new signings Vidal / Costa who both played well in the first half I hope they will get a couple against Real Madrid in the Audi Cup in front of their home fans. The other team I reckon will get a couple will be Barca again in front of their home fans against Roma (who don’t look to have had a great pre-season so far).
Main Bet Barca / Bayern > 1.5 TGS Double 1.4/1
Smaller Bet Barca > 2.5 TSG (hope Neymar/Messi play some part) Bayern BTTS / > 2.5 TGS (hope Madrid can nick one without Benezma or Ronaldo) 2.58/1

Over 2.5 Croydon Kings v Queensland Lions
Over 2.5 Darwin Olympic v Adelaide United
Over 2.5 Sorrento v Sydney FC
Over 2.5 Japan v South Korea
Over 2.5 China v North Korea
Over 2.5 Long An v Binh Duong (in play)

    13.65/1
    stuck a fiver on it

    • Alex 9 years ago

correct odds on my bet are actually 16.38/1.

Yeah Harry I had a few bets on this league last week following your advice and they came in on the goals. Cheers for the tips!

Champions league results were a real disappointment, especially APOEL – I think quite a few of us had the 4-fold acca on which gave a 4 figure return if only APOEL had turned up. Bugger.

  72. Harry 9 years ago

2-0 they’re running riot! Definitely worth checking out the Vietnamese cup games, seem quite consistent and full of goals

  73. mattr 9 years ago

Guys I am so sorry. WC thanks for pointing out. The Phillipines game is NOT in my acca.

revised O2.5mg acca still pays 1.19/1

    Hamilton v Inverness U20 (Scotland 1500)
    Ishavsbyen v Porsanger (Norway 3.12 1830)
    Varegg v Vadmyra (Norway 3.7 1800)
Tindastoll v Einherji Woman (Iceland 1930)

I will be looking at goal lines in the Phillipines game though for sure.

Robbo was impossibly to get them in an acca unfortunately as lots don’t come on market until late, and a couple didn’t at all. Sometimes my research is fruitless like this but I prefer to look at the games and possible goals before looking at markets and being swayed by odds.

Might have a small stake on btts in 2nd half of this Vietnam cup game. 3-0 HT to away side, though they’ve conceded in their last 5 cup ties, home team have scored in their last 11 cup games going back to 2011. Home side have also won their last 6 home games with plenty of goals scored so should be in good scoring form. And the home team have scored in all 20 of the h2h between these two teams. Home side should definitely score but wouldn’t be surprised if the away side got another too as they’re seemingly well on top and more clinical

God knows what they do in Vietnam for the half time team talk but the home side have come flying out scoring 2 goals in 2 minutes. 2-3 now just need another away goal. Btts in 2nd half was 7/4 sorry I forgot to quote odds

Cheers Andy, liking this Vietnamese stuff. Good call on yours, I saw Charlestown were big favourites and were getting dominated. Their h2h record is good though and they seemingly always score at home so I’d fancy an in play dabble on btts when the price improves maybe 5 mins into the 2nd half…price for btts is currently 4/7 (0-2 HT) I think I’ll take it at 8/11

Few games in the Icelandic top flight this evening but a tricky card to call and can see a few tight games.

One that stands out is BRIEDABLIK V KEFLAVIK.

The home side are currently 4th and a win could see them climb into a Europa League place if 3rd place Valur lose or draw at top side FH.

To help their cause they face bottom side Keflavik whose recent form is nearly as bad as mine…WWDWW and some losses to much weaker opposition than Briedablik.

Bets to consider (if any faith left!):

    Over 2.5 goals…1/2
    Over 3.5 goals 13/8
    Brieidablik -1…23/20

    Good luck

Had a quick read of welovebetting’s championship preview and they have pretty much summed up most of my thoughts on Derby’s upcoming season in that The Gaffer doesn’t know what his best starting 11 is. What a dilemma. The injury crisis that hit us around January destroyed us, and even with Bent and Ince both raising their game significantly compared to their previous clubs , their loan stays got both of them into double figures with the goals, shame we couldn’t keep them out. I remember Stephen Warnock coming in from Leeds as Left back ( more out and out defender than Forsyth who like his opposite on the right is a wing-back ) – Warnocks debut got him a red card.
George Thorne was brought back from his long layoff after major knee surgery too early and it basically ended his season. Thorne is back now and fighting fit. The Gaffer says the squad are ready, he’s aware of the 3 game weeks, the busy August, The busy xmas, the strain on the squad in the later months, so he’s ready. Thorne – if he can stay injury free is going to be crucial to Derby and it’ll be like getting a brand new signing – we already know what he can do.
We also have Jason Shackell back from Burnley who we sold to for £1 mill a few seasons back ( Derby’s past bad habits included selling on our best players (usually the fans player of the year )to rivals for peanuts ) I think its cost about £2.5 mill to get him back – maybe he can give Keogh & co a lesson in how to defend properly.
With Clement seemingly gearing towards a 4-4-2 means a front 2 pairing and 4 midfielders whereas the old system had 3 midfielders ( one of which was always a holding midfielder ).
Welovebetting pointed towards Darren Bent as viable each way top scorer contender, had Chris Martin not got injured in January, I’m sure his 21 goals would of been nearer 30 and my 33/1 £10 would of been in with a shout.
Clement seems to be favouring a still very attacking 4-4-2 because Ince seems to of dislodged Ward on the left ( who has gone to forest ) and Russell on the right. Not sure if its injury forced because of Chris Martin not being 100% but Bent and Weimann seem to be our 1st choice strikers. Most of our preseason goals have come from that pair + Russell and Ince.
The biggest Dilemma we have is our central midfield pairing. Hendrick has been so consistant, Bryson has dropped down the pecking order and Hughes seems to be barely used. 2 of our best 11 not in the starting 11 is something I’d worry about. He says everyone is going to play a part in this season but my worry is that Bryson and Hughes could be sold.
We know that we’ve got to tighten up and I think that will come but at the expense of goals, but only time will tell.
I’ve looked at Bolton’s comings and goings and I don’t think their side is any stronger than last season so my money this weekend will be a Derby win, their price as of yesterday on bet365 had drifted from 4/5 to evens, i’ll have some of that.

    BTTS in 2nd half *WON*

Home side managed to claw it back to 3-3 then got a red card in 8th minute and conceded again in the 93rd minute. Gutted for them but brings in my in play bet so can’t complain!!

    • Nathan Ufton 9 years ago

I used to jump on games where they’re 2 or 3 up in my bank building ( breaking from the script of betting on just over 0.5 tmgs ) and very often, I’ve seen 3 nils turn into 3-3’s or even 4-3’s especially in injury time with the last kick of the match. I’ve learned the hard way and won’t break from the script anymore.

  89. Gopher 9 years ago

The next Vietnam cup game is about to start at 12.30, given we have just seen 7 goals in the other one, 4 doesn’t seem that bad a shout.

    Ha Noi T&T – O3.5mgs 6/4 Bet365

Both home and away team capable of scoring so worth a few quid.

    • Nathan Ufton 9 years ago

I dropped my whole £54 bank on Ha Noi’s opposition not to keep a clean sheet @ 1/8, it came in on 2 minutes. I then put my winnings on over 1.5 tmg’s @ 1/25 and that came up by halftime. I now have my winnings on Ha Noi T&T to win @ 1/25, can’t see them losing tbh. I’m really just bank building in anticipation of the weekend.

If anyone can suggest a couple of teams NOT to keep a clean sheet tonight please? I think Molde should score but not sure on another.

    • Nathan Ufton 9 years ago

I’ve opted for the relative safety of a goal in the Basel game and one in the Barcelona game. Not huge prices – 1/33 and 1/25 but I’m hoping to pick off a couple of little gains steadily.

My favourite bet is btts and win. What about Bayern to beat Real in Audi cup tonight at 12/5 bet 365. Must be worth a punt? Also double it up with Basel to win btts. Singles and double.

    • Nathan Ufton 9 years ago

I know its only a p*ss-pot cup that means next to nothing but I see games played in tournaments like these as a PURE marketing opportunity and with Real being probably the richest club in the world, It makes sense that if they win, I think its a huge opportunity to gain a bigger fan-base, that’s why most of Europe have gone out there, that’s why they do these far-east tours, its not for the prize money or the silverware, its to sell football shirts. Whats the cost of a top clubs football shirt these days? £70?? That’s a huge marketplace to sell over inflated replica football shirts.

NAP: Stjarnan to score in the first half 5/6

    NB: Breidablik -1 11/10

    Double 2.85/1

Stjarnan appear to start matches quickly but fizzle out a bit in the second half – they’d be top of the league if games only lasted 45 minutes. Two thirds of their goals this season have come in the first half.

Out of Breidablik’s four home wins, three of them have covered the handicap (other results were 0-1, 1-0 and 2-2). Their opponents have been poor away from home, with just a 1-1 draw and a 1-0 defeat the only results that would’ve prevented this coming in all their other away games.

So the new season starts this weekend, and its time to get back into the bets. Already been doing some solid research, but will read everyones views on here before any bets being placed, as I hope to hit the ground running with a nice profit for the 4 weeks coming.

To get things started, which is the best bookie to use to do the following:
    – Large stakes without being restricted all the time
    – Great odds and promotions
    – Fast payouts

All will be completed on the football bets, I tend to keep rolling any winnings until I hit a 10x larger balance, this usually takes 8 bets at 3/1 odds with a mixture of stakes.

Any help would be appreciated. I like the look of Chelsea, Monaco, Hibs this saturday as a treble.

After reading your write-up Mr F, and noting in particular the Malmo home stat regards not conceding at home in last 11 Euro matches, and Shakhtar’s home stadium situation and poor home record (and the fact they’re up against RVP who’ll be looking to make an instant impact), I’m on the following treble:-
    5:45 Sparta v CSKA – BTTS 4/6
    7:30 Malmo v Red Bull Salzburg – Under 2.5gls 11/10
    7:45 Fenerbache – to win – 10/3

Alex, everyone having problems should let them know and maybe claim some free bets.

  159. mattr 9 years ago

Again I disagree craigyboy. I think we will be very well prepared. Had a hard pre season with only 3 real matches. MLS All Stars, Real and now AC. Whilst most other big clubs have been travelling here there and everywhere. Different starting 11 tonight which means the whole squad will have played 90-120 minutes of pretty meaningful football in week leading up to kick off. If they aren’t fit enough for that they never will be. I have said it before, and I am the most pessimisstic Spurs fan ever, and will again I think we will get a draw at least. Saying that I wouldn’t bet on it ;-)

Mr F – good news regarding Bet365 I had a word with them on live chat and they’ve credited me with the full amount I was trying to cash out initially, before it dwindled.

    A wicked Daily Double.

If the first game made you sweat, the second more than made up for it – in before half time.

All about keeping the faith and taking losers now and again, but with even stakes there’s profit to be made.

  203. Tonyboy 9 years ago

Iceland women’s league in play. Very weird odds there. Away team 30-1 before match and 365 had over 1.5 FHG at 13-1!? That sounds wrong so good to see if they pay out on first half.

  204. Richard 9 years ago

    Breidablik vs Keflavik

    Breidablik over 2.5tg @ 2.37

Keflavik sit bottom of the league and their record away from home is poor having conceded 19 in 6 games and getting only one point so far.

Their last 4 results away (starting with the most recent) have been a 7-1 defeat by 9th, 1-1 against 11th, 4-2 defeat by 8th and a 4-0 defeat by 2nd.

Breidablik at home are P6 W4 D1 L1 F12 A4 – they have scored more goals at home than the 4 teams previously mentioned bar Vikingur (9th) and given they got 7 against Keflavik that’s not too bad

  205. BigB 9 years ago

stagger, i don’t think Van Persie is even playing mate! Although good job you didn;t bet on that, cause Shaktar is 1 up

  206. Fraser 9 years ago

Don’t get complacent Mr f, keep the super singles coming :)

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Fraser, never complacent – sometimes cautious. The Super Singles I nearly put up were Malmo and Celtic HT draw 0-0 but I didn’t – although hopefully they were backed on my write-ups.

  207. Alex 9 years ago

Capone – must just be the Mobile site they have changed then?

I don’t think it’s much different TBH just the stats box that is changed, I did prefer the older one but not much changed really.

  208. stagger 9 years ago

BigB, thanx for that, mate. I didn’t check team news so it’s just as well. Cheers.

    Hi guys
I am currently on holiday in spain and can’t place bets online with uk bookies because it is now a restricted country. It was fine last year. I have tried using a uk vpn without success. Can anyone help?

  211. Benny 9 years ago

Tom, as far as i’m aware you can bet undetected if you only bet when using roaming data. The wifi connection allows them to pick up the country you are in. I dont know how or why but it worked for me that way in the states last year. If you are already blocked then its too late I guess plus you also need to weigh up whether the roaming charges are worth the bet.

    • Tomdalek 9 years ago

      Thanks benny, i’m probably stuffed!

  212. Dom 9 years ago

Why is that every team i bet on gets a red card at home in europe? Thats three in a row now!

  213. HullShaker 9 years ago

  214. HullShaker 9 years ago

  215. Nathan Ufton 9 years ago

I give up………….. I cash out my £83 double down to just under a tenner in the basel game and I kid you not after watching a diiiiiiiiiiiiire game, basel score 5 SECONDS after I cashout in the 91st minute.

At least I have cash to work with, I shall just start from scratch again.

  216. Capone31 9 years ago

    • Tomdalek 9 years ago

Thanks, iwill try calling bet 365 to reset but my phone number will show

  220. Greg Browning 9 years ago

    Early bird for Saturday Gents

    Brechin v Dunfermline

These two will finish at the opposite ends of the table this season and the way Dunfermline have started its hard to look passed them away to a Brechin side who I opposed away to Ayr last weekend a side who are going through transition! The pars have a much smaller squad this season but as a result have been able to bring in a higher quality player! They should open their league campaign with a win!

    Back Dunfermline 6/5

6/5 won’t last – the pars will go off odds on and will likely shorten to 4/5

Will be focusing heavily on the Scottish leagues this season and key will be getting on before Joe public bring the pricees down on a Saturday

    • Kyle B 9 years ago

Dunfermline available at 13/10 at BetVictor, thanks for the info Greg ive followed plenty of your bets with success

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

  236. Greg Browning 9 years ago

Yeah would expect them to be a strong contender Mr F for your SS especially after last week’s demolition! Will be odds on come Friday night bit not by too much!

  245. WasClueless 9 years ago

Nice one James Slater – I was so pissed with Bayern not getting 2 goals I over staked on a -1 Barca FH AH … so back with a small profit :)

  246. Richard 9 years ago

Was on that James cheers – Barcelona could get 4 or 5 if they want but not sure I’d count on Barca playing their full strength line up for that much of the second half which puts me off

  247. mattr 9 years ago

Taken that Greg. Fingers crossed mate.

Thanks for the Barca tip James :-)

  248. James Slater 9 years ago

Cheers lads all glad you got on and helped yourselves! :) Seemed a bit of a daft price if you ask me considering the best front 3 in the world were all starting but hey ho, bookies loss and our gain!

Bit of a feisty one this isn’t it? Messi and Titus Bramble in disguise Mbiwa should have both seen Reds for that clash earlier on!

  249. HullShaker 9 years ago

    Posted this morning:

Few games in the Icelandic top flight this evening but a tricky card to call and can see a few tight games.

One that stands out is BRIEDABLIK V KEFLAVIK.

The home side are currently 4th and a win could see them climb into a Europa League place if 3rd place Valur lose or draw at top side FH.

To help their cause they face bottom side Keflavik whose recent form is nearly as bad as mine…LLDLL and some losses to much weaker opposition than Briedablik.

Bets to consider (if any faith left!):

    Over 2.5 goals…1/2…WON
    Over 3.5 goals…13/8…WON
    Brieidablik -1…23/20…WON

Took the edge off slightly with an in-play shout for over 5.5 with 20 left…had the disallowed 5th goal stood at 80 minutes it might have come good but not to be.

See you were on the same game Richard – good stuff pal.

    Good luck

  250. WasClueless 9 years ago

365 holding off on any second half odds … Messi, Neymar etc likely to come off now they have done their bit for the home fans … will see what odds comes up / changes and may have a few quid on a +2 Roma AH

  251. James Slater 9 years ago

I really like the look of Derby to score Over 1.5 goals against Bolton on Saturday, they achieved this in both fixtures last season winning 0-2 and 4-1 respectively. They have made some very shrewd signings and have great squad depth. Also, had a great preseason bar the Grimsby game and should be up within the Promotion mix come the end of the season while I expect Bolton to be at the opposite end of the table. Gonna start using points system from Saturday onwards and monitor my own progress :)

    Derby Over 1.5 Goals – 13/10 (11/10 elsewhere) – William Hill – 3 points

    Dunfermline WIN – 13/10 – Betvictor – 3 points

  255. WasClueless 9 years ago

  257. Richard 9 years ago

Having a bash at the following acca in Copa MX

Oaxaca vs Unam Pumas over 2.5ftg @ 1.85
Leon vs Atletico San Luis over 4ftg @ 4.00
Necaxa vs Toluca over 2 ftg @ 1.475

    Treble pays 10.91

Actually fancy btts in the Necaxa game but no odds yet on Bet 365 – no write up as I’m off to bed but have had a look at stats but definitely a small stakes bet

  258. WasClueless 9 years ago

CraneGuy – off t’internet looks like 2nd leg .. 0-0 in first game
Their first meeting at Estadio Universitario de Nuevo Leon resulted in a 0-0 match sets up an interesting second leg.
In their first meeting, Tigres held most of the possession, handling the ball on offense 62 percent of the time. However, they were only able to get off five shots – though they were all on target.
Meanwhile, River Plate got eight shots off, while only two were on target.
It was a very intense match between the two, with a combined 39 fouls called throughout the match

  259. WasClueless 9 years ago

CraneGuy – by that report like most SA games red card seems a decent bet!!

Other post in moderation – will try this one for a night owl…11.15 Argentina:

INSTITUTO V SAN LORENZO – Cup game and San Lorenzo sit top of the Argentine Prem facing a side a class beneath them…am not saying Instituto are pants but their club crest actually is a pair.

Apart from the fact SL don’t score massive amounts of goals in their division, prices on the goals front seem very high given their status and outright price to win.

OVER 2.5 pays 7/4 and OVER 3.5 pays 5/1…actually just come in to 9/2.

Small stakes but may be worth a go.
