DUNDALK downed my both to score double by not conceding at home to BATE but I partly covered my bet and was delighted for the Irish side.
Winning 3-0 against tough campaigners is a great result and it would be some achievement if Stephen Kenny could take his men into the Champions League groups. They're 180 minutes away.
Celtic are one of the sides Dundalk could face if the Scots get through against Astana tonight and that would be a bit special. I'm backing Celtic to win and have posted a full preview but I can't trust them enough to include in the top tips.
Elsewhere there is one IRN-BRU Cup game with Cumbernauld Colts tackling Hamilton U-20s. Myself and Greg advised goals bet last night and all 11 games went over 2.5 – this should do so too.
I've looked at all the CL games now and firstly check out Radu's write-ups on the Romanian teams involved – Steaua at home to Sparta Prague and Astra at Copenhagen.
For the Top Treble I'm starting with Legia Warsaw who are another side who could face Celtic and again what a contest that would be as the Poles look to avenge their technical knockout by Ronny Deila's team.
Legia beat Dukla Trencin 1-0 but it's a lead they can't sit on and they know the Slovakians are a dangerous outfit. I reckon the Poles will be fired up to go for victory.
Add Anderlecht not to lose at home to Russians Rostov. The Belgians looked the better side as they gained a 2-2 away draw and while I believe they'll win for the treble I'm playing safer with the double chances.
Same goes with Shakhtar Donetsk who can win at Young Boys. The Ukrainian side were good value for their 2-0 home win so while they don't need to bust a gut they shouldn't lose so let's go draw no bet.
For a goals treble I'm starting with the Cumbernauld v Hamilton games – after all every IRN-BRU Cup game went over last night.
Add both to score at Monaco v Fenerbahce with the Turks aiming to hold on to their one-goal advantage. Complete the treble with PAOK to score at home to Ajax who they held to a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam.
Still thinking about a Super Single – could be Leigh Griffiths to score for Celtic or Anderlecht to win or I may leave it alone.
There is also Barcelona v Leicester in the International Champions Cup and also the Man United v Everton Wayne Rooney testimonial. If Barca start Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi as they did against Celtic take them to win and over 2.5 goals.
Celtic netted so the Foxes could do so too and as far as the Rooney game goes it's not one for serious gamblers unless you see something inplay.

I’ve backed Barcelona win and over 2.5 goals at 8/11. Watched Leicester against PSG the other night and I can’t see anything but a Barca win. Leicester are more than capable of scoring though and could have scored a couple the other night.
I think it’s a game that promises goals and Barcelona to score 2+ in the first half offers some serious value as well at 2/1. I’d expect the likes of Messi to play first half and then come off for the last half an hour or so, meaning early goals could be the way to go.
Also we have Women’s Olympic Football on tonight and it should be great for in play betting opportunities.
I can smell the goals already in the Germany v Zimbabwe game. Whilst Germany should bag a hat full I’m also hoping the Zimbabweans possess the traditional speedy strikers and grab a goal or two themselves, although this is presumptuous based on previous African team performances from Mali and Nigeria in the Women’s World Cup.

Good afternoon all
So after 10 months away from the tipping and blogging, I am dipping my toes back in the water with a new season freshly upon us.
I have been having a lot of success with picking draws in recent times (11 out of 18 in the first round at euros) and feel that some profit can be made from doing singles or multiples. Indeed last week I landed 4 out of 5 draws from the qualifiers on offer and there are a few tonight that look to have a good chance of finishing all square.
I hope to return to the site during the coming weeks although given my experience last time, it may not last a while!

No joy in the CONCACAF last night with Vancouver winning 1-0. Central played a very decent game and had chances but couldn’t put them away. On to the next and its the MLS where last years golden boot winner has really come into form over the last couple of weeks and is scoring at will. Sebastian Giovinco has been talked about this season as one of the best players to ever play in the MLS. The Italian has scored 34 goals in 53 appearances in his MLS career, 12 in 20 this season, and 4 in his last two with a hat-trick against against Columbus Crew. RSL haven’t been great travelers this season and will have a quick turnaround for their home game on Sunday.

Summing up then if you take away results against Hercules for both sides as that team seems a bit unpredictable (more on this later) then Virkia have been well beaten by everyone except second bottom and thrashed by the better teams they’ve played while on the whole GBK have beaten the poorer teams and only lost to high ranked teams away.
GBK’s goal tally away doesn’t look too impressive but MuSa had only scored 8 in their other 6 away games before hitting 10 against Virkia and OPS had managed 12 in 5 away games before taking 6 off them
The bookies have high goal lines but ordinarily this wouldn’t have put me off as in the game immediately after losing 10-1 at home to MuSa, Virkia then lost 10-0 away to Kajaani
However, Virkia have actually won their last 2 – the 3-2 win at home to Santa Claus doesn’t concern as they’re rubbish as well but last time out Virkia beat Hercules 4-1 away. I was watching this game in-play and it was bizarre as Hercules dominated the whole game but were 1-0 down at half-time, went two down and then scored immediately to bring it back to 2-1, Virkia then gave a penalty away and had a man sent off. Hercules then missed the penalty and conceded 2 more goals in the next 5 mins. Virkia scored with all 4 shots on target whereas Hercules ended with over 30 shots in total but just one goal.

Liberec concede against most teams in their league and with Admira getting plenty of chances last week they should get more tonight. Liberec have played two competitive games and twelve friendlies since the 26th of June and kept only one clean sheet, hopefully that stays the same and the Austrians can get one relatively early.

This is just my opinion but Young Boys at home = astro-turf. I know its come a long way since the early days of QPR using it – to their advantage, but its still an advantage and a big old red flag for me on that.
I’m playing relatively safe today, I think Celtic at home ( although I know little about the state of Scottish footie ) – its better than knowing very little. Home advantage – big crowd – next round. Celtic have improved with some decent signings this past 12 or so months and although they’ve led a 1 horse race for domestic honours for what 3 years?? Barca and Celtic win double pays a shade over 9/10. I’ll have some of that. Hopefully nobody got stung on the Scottish games last night! I said that the SPL teams will be playing youngsters and will include u16’s their squads and that its best left alone! That was certainly the case as 5 of the SPL sides lost! Really was men v boys in a lot of the games! A good experience for the young lads though!
