HIBS’ failure to convert a barrowload of chances in midweek let down Greg’s team goals tip but he’s back with a French fancy tonight.

He says: “A lot of matches are taking my fancy over the weekend, just one bet for tonight though.”

Dijon v Creteil

The hosts have started the season well and have picked up maximum points from their two home matches winning 2-0 and 3-0 – Creteil have started in similar fashion although they did lose to tonight’s opponents here on penalties after a 3-3 draw. Matches between the sides haven’t been short of goals with 19 goals scored in the last five meetings.

Nine of the last 11 have seen both teams score and despite this league being goal shy there’s enough to suggest to me it’s worth a stake at odds against.

Back over 2.5 match goals
(11-10, Paddy Power)

Greg, how much of a stake should we putting on this?

    • the watcher 1 year ago

This is the league of no goals.
      Not much I assume.
We should have a knockout tipping comp and see who can pick a bts in this league and see how many make it to week 2.
Last man standing will be lucky to make week 3

  2. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Jim, I think there will be goals here but would suggest lower stakes

My NAP’s however I would suggest full stakes

The watcher I think there have been 5 of 6 BTTS in each of the last two Friday’s

  3. jim 1 year ago

Greg, do you usually say if it is a NAP? So there will be a NAP tomorrow probably then?

  4. Greg Browning 1 year ago

Yeah always post in brackets mate that it’s a NAP

NAP for tomorrow is Plymouth over 1.5 Team goals 4/5

  5. Oggy 1 year ago

I only just learned what NAP means after feeling like a dumbass for ages. I assumed it was an abbreviation like BTTS or WTN but it refers to a card game called Napoleon, or the best hand therein, therefore giving the best chance of winning. I’m happy to be corrected of course.

    Plymouth v Newport

I’ve been following with interest the developments at Rodney Parade this season since their Millionaire fan owner resigned in the summer! Newport’s rise from conference to league 2 was no coincidence that it coincided with county Fan Scadding winning £46m on the euro millions! He’s away and so appears are the good times! Finacial insecurity saw a number of players leave in the summer and results so far this seaaon have been poor! They sit 2nd bottom with just a solitary point and have concdeded 2 or more in 4 of their 5 games this season! They visit a Plymouyh side who have a had a great start winning 3 of their 4 leagie games and scoring goals in the process! It’s a tough ask for butcher who takes on his old Highland enemy Derek Adams! Things are bleed At Newport and Plymouth should take advantage of that

    Back Plymouth 20/23 (NAP)

Thanks Greg. Last question then I’m sorted. Would full stakes be 3 or 4 times low stakes? What would you say?

  8. jimba 1 year ago

Ok greg, on your tips bud. Good luck tonight and tomorrow everyone!!

  11. Jim 1 year ago

I think so. We have only conceded the once so far. I think we will get the job done.

Greg any thoughts on forest green? 5 wins from 5 and away to Kidderminster at 1/1

Gregg – I could not agree more re: Plymouth to beat Zooport. The local S Wales media have been attempting to drum up a bit of a PR campaign in support of the challenging job Terry Butcher has taken on. He’s been pictured with his first team squad this week (all false smiles) and the majority of which look as though they’re going through puberty with an intrusion of acne to join in. Plymouth all day long for me. A superb super Saturday single. Get on it all.

Greg. Put €200 on your hibs tip during the week. Was gutted. Trusted you and put €200 on the overs tonight. Nice one money back. On to tomorrow and hopefully in profit. Keep up the good work, i need a new van

      Excellent tip Mr browning.
I went against my principle of not backing goals in this league and did your tip.
      Put 40 on straight.
And as u are in form put 10 on a team to score treble
      Creteil 1-2
      Espanol 8-11
And your saints to net against those ‘scared’ Celtic players 10-11.
1st 2 in, what do you think of saints netting ?.
Or are Mr Delia’s boys only scared of Swedish teams.

Many thanks for the Dijon write up and tip.
