IT was a tough day but it wasn't too bad with my two main bets winning.
Queen of the South brought up a nice 13-5 Super Single for a 5.2pts profit and I won 4.5pts on the Top Treble thanks to Man United's last-gasp winner at Hull after earlier wins for Celtic and Leicester.
My btts treble was disappointing and the long shots provided two losers in the only other bets I put up.
Greg Browning's nap and over 2.5 goals treble won, Jordan's tips came up and Desmond ended his drought with an over 2.5 treble that paid 6-1.
My members-only Bet of the Day won again and Selectabet had two out of three after last week's full house.
So moving on to the last big betting day of the month I'm up more than 33 points and I've got to be satisfied with that especially as I usually find August tough. It's a shame we're now stopping for the international break.
The two EPL games are Man City v West Ham and West Brom v Middlesbrough with the latter looking tough to call even though Boro have started the better of the two.
City look banker material against a Hammers side who were woeful against Astra in midweek as they crashed out of the Europa League. Pep Guardiola rested many top men against Steaua including Sergio Aguero who has netted six goals and started the season on fire.
Marathonbet go a biggest 4-13 on City and I like the look of Aguero to score first at 13-5 with betfair.
Having looked at stats City to score 2+ looks on and while it's short I'm doing a Super Single that adds PSV to score 2+ and Barcelona to score 2+.
PSV tackle Groningen in an early game and have netted 2+ in their last nine home games against them.
Barca travel to Athletic Bilbao trying to maintain their sizzling start to the season. They hit six in their La Liga opener last week after beating Sevilla 5-0 on aggregate to lift the Super Cup.
The San Mames can be rocking but Barca have won on four of their last five visits with four of five going over 2.5 goals. Crucially they have net 2+ in 10 of their last 11 La Liga road trips.
Elsewhere in La Liga Sevilla could win at a dispirited Villarreal while Roma could recover from their Champions League exit by beating Cagliaria in Serie A where Sassuolo at home to Pescara also interest me.
Having studied the card last night and this morning I can't see past Man City and Barcelona but as they're short I'm adding Inter at home to Palermo and Roma at Cagliari.
Inter lost at Chievo last week so already the pressure's on new boss Frank de Boer but in the San Siro his men should see off Palermo who almost always stuggle on the road. They have lost five of their last six at Inter.
Roma were bundled out of the Champions League at home to Porto in midweek after going down to nine men. Displays until that point had been superb and they beat Udinese 4-0 last week. They've won on their last three trips to Cagliari who opened with a 3-1 defeat at Genoa.

Hey everyone, its your main man Max here, and for the 1st time in 4 attempts I couldn’t deliver a full house on the Man U game, which on a tough card was my only tips. I did however land my NAP which is always pleasing and my followers appreciate that taking it to 4 in a row tipping Jose boys. I have a NAP and a NB to share with you all as I look to end the month with a bang.
Man City face the hapless hammers who crashed out of Europe in midweek and look in for a long afternoon today. There is not a lot of value on face value but delve a little deeper and I have found a couple of tips for you all to get on. Aguero’s goal scoring record this season is unbelievable and consider this guys his record against the hammers is 6 in 7. Aguero to score anytime is ok for me but I like to give my followers value so I’m advising him to score and City win at 5/6 Skybet.
My second tip on this game is Man City to win and O2.5mg. I fancy City to win and West Ham have seen O2.5mg in their last 7 away games in the league. They won this fixture last season 2-1 (reverse fixture ended 2-2 O2.5mg again) but they look a worse team this season with the injuries and City may have to bring up this tip on their own, but if West Ham score then it looks pretty nailed on to land to me. It is 4/5 Betstars.

My first tip is the same as the City game only this time it is Barcelona to win and O2.5mg. Barcelona attack is awesome even without Neymer, and the stats points to this landing. Having scored 6 last week they started the season with a bang. In 10 out their last 11 away games they have scored 2+ goals and at home Bilbao have scored in 5 of the last 6 against Barcelona. I’m taking Barcelona to win and O2.5mg at 11/10 Betstars.
My NB is Barcelona main man to score, not Messi but Suarez. He looks great value to add to his hat trick last week at 3/4 Hills given the above reasoning’s. I will also have a couple of quid on the Suarez anytime wincast at a 13/10 Paddy Power.
