IT was basically a break-even Tuesday night – in fact I finished £1 up – and that was acceptable on a tough card.

My Super Single on the site, Southampton, and my pick for the Daily Record, Apoel, both won and my Scottish League Cup fourfold trapped at 4-1 thanks to Kilmarnock, Ross County, St Mirren and a late show from Hibs who netted three in the last 12 minutes to dump Dumbarton 3-2.

There weren't any shocks in Scotland apart from Celtic's Champions League flop that destroyed the European treble. Having watched both legs of their clash with Maribor I stand by my belief the Slovenians are a poor side and we'll see how they fare in the group stage.

Unfortunately for Celtic they were even worse and boss Ronny Deila has some serious thinking to do before they launch a Europa League campaign.

I advised caution on Tuesday's cup ties and in the end most of the times flagged up as playing full-strength sides won. We knew Man United would make changes – in the end keeper David de Gea was the only survivor from Sunday's draw at Sunderland – but even the players they fielded shouldn't be losing 4-0 at MK Dons.

People were warned often not to back Man Utd – but maybe we should have risked a few quid on the League One men.

There are another five Capital One Cup clashes tonight and I've looked at team news for all of them. Stoke boss Mark Hughes will make some but not drastic changes at home to League Two Portsmouth as he bids to get the clubs season going after a slow start.

Stoke should be too strong at the Britannia and equally Aston Villa should see off League One Orient if Paul Lambert sticks to his word and puts out a strong side.

The live TV tie is Bradford v Leeds and it's tough to call so best bet here could be both to score. Bradford were superb at home as they reached the 2013 final but Leeds will be close to full strength with under-fire boss David Hockaday hanging on to his job by a thread.

Sunderland reached last season's final only to lose to Man City so it's fair to assume boss Gus Poyet will treat this seriously. He says he will play the bulk of the side that held Man Utd at home at the weekend and they should be too strong at Championship outfit Birmingham.

And finally QPR head to League Two Burton looking for a confidence boost after Sunday's 4-0 thrashing by Tottenham. Harry Redknapp will make some changes, bringing in the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips, Bobby Zamore and Junior Hoilett, and his men should be too good even though Burton have started the season in fine style.

In the Champions League Arsenal are no bigger than 3-10 at boylesports to qualify after holding Besiktas 0-0 away. That draw was a disappointment for the Londoners as was a red card for Aaron Ramsey and the Gunners have now lost striker Olivier Giroud with the club being linked for a move to sign PSG's Edinson Cavani.

The Frenchman's header earned a point at Everton last weekend but with his injury they’ll be looking at Alexis Sanchez to justify his huge fee with a goal. The Chilean is 9-2 with Ladbrokes to score first.

Arsenal have never lost against Turks over 90 minutes in eight meetings – and haven’t conceded goal at home. The Gunners to win to nil is 6-5 with McBookie. Arsene Wenger's men are a best 2-5 with McBookie and others on the night and I expect them to win.

A big gun will exit when Athletic Bilbao face Napoli – and it could be Rafael Benitez’s Italians. Athletic were better in the first leg and are a best 6-5 at William Hill. However, I've decided the best bet on this game is both teams to score at 4-5 with bet365 and Ladbrokes.

Bayer Leverkusen are no bigger than 1-4 with McBookie to KO Copenhagen and after beating Dortmund 2-0 away in the Bundesliga at the weekend you have to fancy the Germans minus one at 8-11 (bet365). The one fear is Bayer don't need to win never mind by two or more goals but if the Danes go for it they could be picked off.

Go for goals at Malmo v Red Bull Salzburg. The Austrians have hit 29 in winning their first six games but this will be tougher so take over 2.5 goals at 4-7 with Skybet.

Red Bull lead 2-1 from the first leg after a conceding a crazy last-minute strike and will be keen to grab an away strike to ease some nerves.

They haven't been as dominant in Europe as they are at home but I expect them to qualify and star striker Jonathan Soriano is worth a look at 10-11 at bet365 to score. To net first he is 15-4.

The final tie sees a nerve shredder between Bulgarians Ludogerets and Romanians Steaua Bucharest. Steaua won a tight contest 1-0 at home and are favourites to qualify and will of course try to frustrate their opponents and force a 0-0. Best bet here could be under 2.5 goals but I pays just 11-18 with 888sport and that doesn't tempt me. Under 1.5 at 19-10 I do like but an early goal changes everything and it's risky.

In the end I've decided to take Sunderland as the Super Single but if you can don't back them until you see if their line-up is strong enough – and same goes for the League Cup treble.

Super Single

Sunderland (7.45pm)
(13-10, bet365, BetVictor, McBookie)

(League Cup treble (all 7.45pm)

Aston Villa

Stoke

QPR

Pays 7-2 at McBookie, BetVictor

Euro Treble (all 7.45pm)

Arsenal

Bayer -1

Malmo v Red Bull over 2.5 goals

(3-1, bet365)

Both to score double (both 7.45pm)

Bradford v Leeds

Athletic Bilbao v Napoli

(23-10, bet365)

Don’t trust Villa at home as stated. I’d probably go BTTS if anything, please nobody think it is in anyway a banker…4 wins in their last 20 in the PL and they will rotate as Mr F said.
In fact, no bankers ever in cup games it seems…

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Jack, I’ll be looking for team news from all the games and of course help from fans as we got on Tuesday. Goodnight for now.

  2. Jack 10 years ago

Of course, cheers for the 4-fold tonight too. I’ll try and have a look and see if there’s anything I fancy for tomorrow.

I would get on Napoli to qualify. Never go against a Benitez side in Europe he just knows how to get the results on those European nights. I was at most of them :-)

  4. Lord Clegg 10 years ago

Draws Canadian tonight- Birmingham, Bradford and three from the Portuguese 2nd division- lots of teams but not lots of goals Probably go with covilha, us oliverense, athletico cp. Also considering Bilbao as an alternative. Fancy Stoke 2-0 correct score!

CANT WAIT FOR CELTIC V LEGIA WARSAW IN THE EUROPA LEAGUE.
THE DRAW WILL BE FIXED TO AVOID IT NO DOUBT, BUT WOULD BE INTERESTING IF IT HAPPENED.

cuppel69, Legia played their Europa League final qualifying 1st leg last week and won 1-0 away so should be in.

Had a great night last night! With United looking so poor lately and after the squad being accounced how could you not back Mk dons at 17/2, also as soon as MK dons went 1-0 up they were backed again at 15/8 with United still favourites for the game who had yet to test the keeper….. Also had 2 lovely trebles land with Derbys late goal and a goalscorer in her some beckford the others were pitman and Dwight Gayle ! My account was very healthy and I have withdrew 80% and will start again today!

Can Celtic lodge another appeal? :) :) :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, Celtic’s appeal is in – they are appealing to UEFA to give our one Champions League place to the team that finishes second this season.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Mr F, as they may finish runners up to ICT that is a wise move!!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, it’s a sad indictment on Scottish football that Celtic will stroll to the title even if Deila survives and I see he is now 2-1 sack race favourite with McBookie. I’m a great believer in giving managers time but last night’s display lacked everything – quality and passion – and no stage did Celtic look comfortable against a very ordinary team.

GHUANGZHOU EVERGRANDE VS WESTERN SYDNEY WANDERERS

over 2.5 goals and GHUANGZHOU WIN

This is an ACL tie for the final four of the competition. The first leg was fiery to say the least it finished 1 nil to the Wanderers with 2 red cards in the last 5 mins for Evergrande. I see Evergrande going out to make amends today even with the two players missing they have enough quality to deal with the sydney men at home to a large crowd who will be expecting them to get to the final four after winning it last year.

    GHUANHZHOU WIN & OVER 2.5MG @ 13/10

    Good luck

Last night was relatively good for my having 4x doubles involving Derby and Florist. Florist did the biz with 2-0, and a very stubborn charlton made it very tough for derby to break them down. From the 60th minute, charlton were going overboard on the timewasting tactics. The kitchen sink was thrown at them and it wasn’t until the 87th minute, we got our goal.
That brought up my break even bet: derby 8/11 – Florist 11/8 double and my derby 8/11 – Florist -1 10/3 double was the icing on the cake making me £35 on the day up.

I am looking at a few bets tonight involving Saltzberg, i’ll probably have a cheeky £10 on the straight win and a £10 on them -1 asian handicap.

Thursday, I am looking at Panathanikos @ home, I think theyre vastly overpriced at 13/10, but i’ll see how tonights bets go.
Maybe a draw no bet for Panathanikos might be the smart way to go.

    Your thoughts guys?

I know you have something lined up Raal for Thursday, just hope you put your bet on towards the end of Wednesday and share in time for me to do a bit of research. Thanks in advance.

    AFC Champions League Final Stages

    FC Seoul v Pohang Steelers

2nd leg of the Champions League game today after a 0-0 draw in the first leg last week and everything is pointing towards a low scoring affair.

Lets start with the H2H record between the 2 clubs and the last 6 games have seen 5 go under 2.5gls and BTTS only coming up in 1 game…. 0-0,0-0,0-1,1-3,2-0 and 0-1

FC Seoul have contested 32 games in 2014,21 of those games have went under 2.5gls. They have scored 37 goals in those 32 games and conceded just 29 times so that’s a total of 61 goals in 32 matches which is a little under 2 gls per game average.

Pohang have played 28 games in 2014,14 games have went under 2.5gls but interestingly 10 of their 11 this season have been under 2.5 gls including 5 games that ended 0-0,they have scored only 8 times in those 11 games.

Under 2.5 has no real value at 1/4 so im going too look at the goal line for this match and go for under 1.5 goals which has come up in 4 of the last 6 meetings between the clubs

    Under 1.5gls 2.425
FC Seoul too win by 1 gl 11/4
Both teams too score – No 4/6

Going off what derbys mean to us geordies, 1 bet I like the lookof is the yorkshire derby between Bradford & Leeds, think both teams will be going for it and a possible bet could be BTTS at 8/11 @bet365

  25. ol price 10 years ago

Lambert has told reporters he will go with a ‘very strong’ side tonight. After the stick he received from the fans last season for fielding a weaker side in the cup this is unsurprising,we have more experience in the side this season and have looked solid in the first two matches,I expect us to get through.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

ol, if Lambert puts out a strong side I’ll side with Villa – just been going through team news before I put up tips.

  26. Mr H 10 years ago

Croatia Cuptoday and im looking at the match between NK Lucko Zagreb v Novigrad.

the home side have won just 8 of their last 28 games which is a poor record by anyones standards. Their opponents Novigrad are on a fantastic run and have racked up 18 victories in their last 20 outings and scored in all 20 games but going further back they have scored in 30 of the last 34 matches. Novigrad have scored 3 or more in 15 of the last 20 matches so we can safely say they know the way too goal.

The home side are 1 league above todays visitors but that hasn’t put me off backing the away side continuing their great run and notching another victory here today.

    Novigrad too win 13/5
    Novigrad + 0.5gls 1.925
    Draw/Novigrad dbl chance 10/11

  27. Chip 10 years ago

    Burton v QPR (7.45pm)

Under 2.5 goals @ evens (William Hill)

QPR haven’t scored in the Premier League yet and have lost their first two games. I know they’re up against a side from League Two but I think they have the possibility of slipping up tonight. Only 30% of Burton’s games at home in the league seen over 2.5 goals last season and 1 out of their 2 games so far has too. QPR didn’t score many on their travels last season and weren’t the greatest away from home, only 30% of their games seen 3 or more goals. QPR will be strong favourites to win this and they might well cruise past Burton but let’s hope that it finishes 1 or 2-0 if that’s the case.

  30. Chip 10 years ago

    Arsenal v Besiktas

Arsenal to win to nil @ 5/4 (William Hill, BetVictor, SkyBet)

I think the bookies have called this one wrong. Arsenal didn’t score in the first leg away from home and therefore won’t want to concede tonight in order to avoid losing on the away goals rule. Arsenal need to win tonight to get through to the group stages of the Champions League since they drew 0-0 in the first leg. They kept more clean sheets at home than any other team last season (11 in 19 games). The odds for a straightforward Arsenal win are a little short and since Arsenal have a good clean sheet record at home and know they need to avoid conceding tonight, I think Arsenal to win to nil at odds against looks like great value.

    • Marky Mark 10 years ago

For some reason the odds have just shifted dramatically here, so i’d be wary

    Persik vs Arema Cronous

    Arema to win @ 20/21

So far it seems they have control of the game. Persik have won their last 5 home games but Arema are top of the league and only lost once away from home. Persik’s home wins were against worse opposition.

Like I said, only thing that puts me off is the dramatic shift in the odds. Makes me think the bookies know something I don’t….so only small stakes

  34. Mxc 10 years ago

Hope no one got on, as they go 1-0 down ;)

Skipping NY. No Henry in squad and only Wright-Phillips on the bench. Fancy goals in the other CONCAF games tho.

    Btts double.

Csd Comunicaciones vs Club America @ 4/5 **WIN** (1-1)

Deportivo Saprissa vs Real Esteli **LOSE** (3-0)

    Pays 5/2 **LOSE**

All of Esteli’s CONCAF games has seen btts and the reverse tie was 1-1.

Csd and Club America both hammered Bayamon, both teams capable of scoring home and away. Csd have only failed to score once in the last 4 months at home, America top of the Mexico Apertura, same as the home team, have only failed to score once in 4 months away.

Sorry boys. Looks like a tricky day today. Might just give myself a no bet day, but who am I kidding?

  48. jamie180 10 years ago

It’s not often BTTS comes up in the Argentine League but does anyone have any thoughts on the Atl.Rafaela v Newells Old Boys at EVS ? If you look at Atl.Rafaela at home this bet would have come in 13 out of 14 matches and I think its got a good chance this evening.KO 9pm

  49. tonytanaka 10 years ago

Legia v Celtic would make a good final, its in Warsaw this year.Probably wont happen though as UEFA are apparently investigating claims the Maribor sub who came on at the end didnt have a licence for his Justin Bieber haircut:)
    Dangerous Double
    Malmo +1 2.050
    Arsenal -3.5 corners 1.8
    Pays 3.7/1 with bet365
Main danger is Malmos defence which often resembles the Keystone Cops on a bad day but a similar performance to their 2-0 home win over Sparta Prague should see them at least avoid defeat.

After a nice little double yesterday, we’ll give the German lower leagues another shot.

In League 3,over 2.5 goals in the games at Duisburg and Unterhaching pays approx. 3/1 for the double (Boyle Sports).

In the Sudwest league – over 2.5 at Kassell and TuS Koblenz (double) pays a little over 2/1. As ever – advise small stakes only.

Tonight matches I’ll stay away from the champions league and arsenal price isn’t good, I also wouldn’t take -1 with the gunners having a few injuries.

      ******,
CP job is Colins as Clarky is not taking it. Bet what ever anyone will take but keep it medium as we are staking too kid, box clever.

  63. raaljaca 10 years ago

My mistake Mr F as I know certain words are picked up, apologies.

    • Marky mark 10 years ago

Raal, was the CP managers job the ‘tip/certainty’ you were talking about earlier in the week or has that still to come?

      Cheers mate!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

No that has still to come Marky. CP was just cracking info I got mid morning.

  64. tonytanaka 10 years ago

Malmo +1 are 6/4 with Paddy Power and +2 is 8/15.Which are far better prices than bet365 who have Malmo win at 11/2 compared to their 9/2???

  65. Danny T 10 years ago

Raal no worries mate . It was great info . Just missed out by a few minutes . There will be others I am sure mate. Damn moderation :-)

Danny, the message was there for 40 minutes before I read it as I had the pup out a walk!! Just cost me more money :)

    Warnock has it

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Stormin, read the Warnock story in the Racing Post while walking the dug this morning so surprised the book wasn’t closed earlier.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Racing Post quoted him at 7/4 last night but he drifted this morning as Clarkes odds shrunk hence the 3/1.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Warnock was as big as 9/2 at 11.50 this morning as the bookies accepted Stevie C had the job, link is full betting history and why some people have just cleaned up on it. People I know have backed him then laid him on betfair and made a very big profit before he even gets appointed, no lose situation. I backed him at 3/1 and 5/4 and then got someone to lay him at 1/2 for reasonable profit.

    BTTS & over 2.5 goals @ 23/20.

UD OLIVEIRENSE vs BENFICA II. SEGUNDA LIGA K.O 5PM

Both teams have scored in all three games this season.

All four H2H have seen btts & over 2.5, with Benfica winning 3/4, the remaining game being a 2-2 draw. With two of those wins being away victories. Benfica’s current away record isn’t that great compared to the home side who boast four home wins on the bounce if you include last years fixtures.

Friendly match due too start at 1pm between Phillipines and Global FC

When Global FC play it usually means one thing……GOALS galore,in their last 10 games there has been 62 goals in total. The results are as follows…..9-0,3-0,7-0,7-2,7-0,7-0,4-1,2-1,3-0 and 3-3

Over 2.5gls 4/5 and ill be going over 3.5 inplay if and when it appears

  77. Horsing Around 10 years ago

    Philippines v Global FC

    Over 2.5 ftg (1.80)
    Over 1.5 fhg (2.62)

Worth small stakes – Global FC scored quite a few goals last year and although a friendly, think these odds are very generous.

  78. Capone31 10 years ago

Surely Global will beat the Philipines? They barely beat Pachanga 2-1 while Global destroyed them

      CELTIC V HEARTS :)

    • AL 10 years ago

The way things are going just now Hearts could give them a good game. Livi at home for the Dons, hopefully get some revenge for the 6-1 mauling I had to sit through many moons ago!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

AL, full draw and it’s an interesting one.

      Dundee United v Dundee
      Falkirk v Rangers or Inverness
      Ross County v Hibs
      Kilmarnock v St Johnstone
      Aberdeen v Livingston
      Partick Thistle v St Mirren
      Celtic v Hearts
      Hamilton v Motherwell
Ties to be played on 23 and 24 September.

    • AL 10 years ago

Yeah some good cup ties there, won’t be staking much on them that’s for sure!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

AL, tough looking games but most teams will now go full strength so easier to predict. Good draw for Celtic because they need a tie that will attract fans and they probably need to win the Treble or at last Double this season.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Very unlikely you will see a full strength Hearts side as we are at home to Livingston on the following Saturday and Neilson will prioritise that match. League Cup is of no interest really and we will not risk first team players against them.

  80. Lord Clegg 10 years ago

Mr F, Is it true the Isle of Man Cup Final is over three legs?

  81. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Mr H, the match is essentially the same as Scotland playing against Celtic, not sure how this will pan out! Phillipines are the favourites as you’d expect a nation to be better than one club! Be interesting to see how it pans out!

Just heard Celtic will drop into the cup winners cup if they get knocked out of the Europa league group stages – if they they get knowlcked out of that they will drop into the Anglo Scottish quarter finals, haha!

Mr F and Raal will remember those games! :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

      Texaco Cup :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, I’m afraid I’m old enough to remember Anglo Scottish Cup games. Don’t think Clydebank were involved but watched St Mirren in it a couple of times and I’m sure they won it one year. Also remember Chesterfield giving Rangers a tanking which was embarrassing at the time although nowadays Chesterfield would be favourites if they met.

    • Thomas Gilmartin 10 years ago

he Anglo-Franco Friendship Cup that Clyde were victorious in and helped capture for the Scottish League in 1960-61. An inter-league competition that saw teams from the French and Scottish Leagues competing against each other in a series of home and away fixtures, entry to the competition was based upon a team’s final league at the end of the previous season. Individual clubs couldn’t win the competition outright, so each league was awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Clyde defeated Lens 4-0 away and 2-1 at home.

before my time but would have loved to have seen this , many happy days as a clyde fan

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Thomas, before my time too but sounds interesting.

  82. Mr H 10 years ago

Agreed Greg, just the goals Global score that seemed too make the 4/5 very tempting. global finished last season with a goal difference of +92 over 24 games which is incredible

    • AL 10 years ago

Went to go on over 1.5 FHG @ 7/4 but the market changed to over 0.5 FHG @ 1/2

With 40 mins to play thats good value

    • AL 10 years ago

Phillipines 1-0 up after 24 mins, brings my bet up. Went quite big on it after missing out on the over 1.5 FHG. 1/2 with 40 mins to play was a gift with those teams involved!

Thanks Capone for flagging it up, never even noticed it was on & hadn’t planned doing any bets today other than the one I posted earlier

thechief, sorry you’re wrong – it’s 14! Before I get slaughtered I support every Scottish team in Europe, whether it’s Celtic, Rangers or St Johnstone because success is good for the game overall – and sells papers! I don’t imagine many Celtic fans will have rushed out and bought a Daily Record or any other publication today. Anyway off out with the dug, a Football Outlook and a look at the Europa League games.

    • AL 10 years ago

Exactly Mr F, we’ll all have a laugh and joke about Celtic getting knocked out again…. but at the end of the day it’s for the good of Scottish Football that our teams do well in Europe.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Hamish, we might just let them win it mate ;) Another meaningless trophy.

  96. Dan 10 years ago

Let’s say metaphorically you were trying to recoup losses after lumping £200 on Leicester to win last night, lets say you were willing to lump on someone again tonight…. who would you go for?

Sunderland to qualify for the next round? £350 would recoup losses.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Dan, one of the first rules of betting is don’t chase losses. There are no bankers in the Capital One Cup tonight so you could just as easily be £550 down. Learn a lesson and don’t lump on teams such as Leicester who we knew were playing a weakened team. Put the £200 loss behind you, start a betting bank with an amount you an afford and try to slowly recoup the £200 whether it’s over 10 or 20 bets – it doesn’t matter.

  97. Wez_1982 10 years ago

Great call Raal, I was covering both him and Clarke so managed to get 300 profit either way, pity I couldn’t get Clarke laid quicker though

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Great move Wez mate. Warnock drifting this morning was brilliant and certain people were onto him a good half hour before the first bookie found out he was getting the job.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, it was a strange drift because was reported in today’s paper he was getting it.

  98. Chip 10 years ago

Dan, as I’ve learned from Raal, don’t chase your losses.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Spot on Chip. Dan write it off mate and start from scratch with a smaller level stake for each bet and you will recoup it, not as quick but soon enough.

    • Dan 10 years ago

Yeah, I know that’s the right thing to do mate!

  99. daz 10 years ago

Set a betting bank and staking plan aside. You can do level stakes or percentage staking for example dividing your betting bank by x 10 or x 20.

  101. thechief 10 years ago

Afternoon guys, yesterday focusing on the one Champions league game proved profitable as Porto won and Jackson Martinez hit the net. Tonight I am focusing on the Arsenal v Besiktas match.

The first leg ended goalless in Turkey and now Arsenal go into the return leg without Aaron Ramsey, Oliver Giroud and Mickel Arteta from the first leg. Arsenal last 6 champions league games have gone under 2.5 goals.
Arsenal have won each of their previous six Champions League qualifying second leg games, scoring 16 goals and conceding just 3.

My first bet however is both teams to score. It may seem a little strange and looking at the stats, it doesn’t look likely. The bookies also don’t think it will happen as they go 11/10 Various. Besiktas didn’t play at the weekend and will need a goal if they are to go through. Arsenal have conceded in both league games this season and looked all over the place at times against Everton. In the previous round Besiktas scored 5 goals in two legs and I would prefer to take the chance on both teams scoring tonight.

In the goal scorer market, last week I went for Demba Ba and although he didn’t score he did look the most likely and I will stick with him again. He is 15/4 Bet365. A longshot I like is Per Mertesacker. Arsenal are missing quite a few attacking players and it maybe a set piece that break down the Besiktas defence. Mertesacker is 5/1 in places but a huge 12/1 at Coral and for me it is worth a few quid.

    BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 11/10
    BA TO SCORE 15/4

    Longshot small stakes

    MERTESACKER TO SCORE 12/1

Good luck if your having a bet

  102. thechief 10 years ago

Some of the tips look like they from here too.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

daz, some people who are or were regulars on the site are pushing a couple other sites so if you’ve given out your address to anyone in the past that’s how they have it. Can you email me at mrfixit@dailyrecord.co.uk with the details and I’ll probably be able to tell you who’s behind it.

Last 3 H2H has seen Kolbotn win 5-0.
In all five H2H, Kolbotn W have covered -2.

    Kolbotn -2 @ 16/5? Couldn’t believe it myself.

    -3 @ 15/2

    -4 @ 16/1

    Kolbotn 4 or more @ 7/2

    Putting £1 on 5-0 correct score @ 50/1.

Small stakes bet for morning interest.

    Good luck

Listening to a radio station here in Poland and people can make a call to the radio and say something to cheer up Celtic fans.

Of course they all go: Hey, Celtic you still have a chance, check cards of Maribor players etc.

For me it is not at all funny and becoming annoying.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Bookies Can Lose, we’d do the same here I’m sure. You could sicken Legia fans by telling them they’re about to sign Ambrose.

    • Bookies Can Lose 10 years ago

Mr F, Legia and Celtic may still be in the same group of Europa League, right? :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Bookies Can Lose, I believe so – Celtic will be seeded so unless they’re in the same eight they can be drawn together but even chances are 7-1.

Ive had a few over the past 2 days too Daz..Feckin annoying !!!!

  126. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Capone both have a decent chance as 1 team will have to go for it when someone scores 1st, I’d be more leaning towards Besiktas to get 4+ just because Arsenals record in playoffs and think they’ll score at peast twice tonight. After Celtic failing I’m only putting the double I’ve put up on as lost a whack on the useless cu**s. If my corners bet came up it would’ve been bearable but lose bet & go out :(

  127. Frankie 10 years ago

    KOBLENZ vs HOFFENHEIM II

Interesting game here in the Regionalliga Sudwest. Both teams struggled and finished in the bottom half last term, but whereas Koblenz have looked similarly poor this season, Hoffenheim’s Second team have improved their squad and more importantly their performances, and started the season on fire, scoring 13 goals in their first four games, including 8 in their first 2 away fixtures.

You’re getting great odds on an away win here. This is probably because Koblenz got their first win last week against a decent Nottingen team, and Hoffenheim II actually dropped their first points of the season with a 0-1 home defeat in the same round of games. This aside, the away team are still the better side, and should really have too much quality for their opposition today.

Hoffenheim II to win – 21/20 (Betfair)

  129. Michael 10 years ago

Mr H you think novigrad will hang on to the win?. Half time currently 1-0 to them.

johnk, one of you guys who got the email can forward it to me mrfixitstips@gmail.com. It’s one reason why we asked for email addresses not to be posted. Once you do that anyone can pick it up especially people who are or have been planning their own sites.

Few comedians on here today :)

End of the day, Lennon and Strachan both failed at the 1st attempt at European football, Strachan in a 5-0 away loss in Brlratislava and Lennon at Utrecht & Braga but Deila still in Europa, luckily tho. Last night was shocking and the sooner Iffy goes the better, VVD looked like a top striker and why Deila played 1 up front, especially stokes, god knows. Denayer looks solid at the back and got a few signings to come with the Ghana winger arrived today but it’s aw Lawells fault not spending before Legia match. Glad i wasnt there last tho

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Craig, Deila’s the only one who got knocked out twice. I think to be honest it’s the manner of the defeats against fairly ordinary opposition that’s the concern. Plus of course Lawwell’s reluctance to splash out on a big name if he could persuade one to come.

Lol Jordan not really I only put £2 on the first half handicap to see how the match was going cause I was wary of the odds especially following your info they must have signed a few men or something lol leaving the 2nd half alone now lol

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Wato, that is the second time Bodo have scored against them in their history, last four H2H had seen Kolbotn win by an aggregate of 18-0. Safe to say I didn’t expect them to be leading at the break haha

  141. Andy M 10 years ago

Here’s the expected teams for EL in groups.

Aye Paul, after trying his ‘philosophy’ and getting pumped by Legia he’s always gonna play it safe but definitely missed Brown and Commons should’ve been starting as seen the spell in 2nd half where hit the bar, sh*t happens, at least we’re in EL because it could’ve been alot worse.

  143. Capone31 10 years ago

Nathan, if they play a strong team why not. Everyone should check team news before having a bet. Unfortunately I won’t be around till much later. Heading off for a first-ever visit to deepest, darkest Wishaw for League Cup quarter-final v Clydebank. Hoping for a win for the holders. Good luck everyone with their bets.

  155. Bookies Can Lose 10 years ago

OK, I had a look at today’s card and will play it a bit against the odds as previously.

    LUDOGORETS – STEAUA
Ludogorets are just used to winning at home and scoring goals. 2 draws and 13 wins in the last 15 games tell you the whole story. Steaua similarly has a record of 1 defeat in 15 away games and 10 wins. They won the first leg 0-1, so nothing is settled yet. That should be an open game and 2.14 for both teams to score: yes is definitely worth a try.

BACK BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE: YES (odds: 2.14)

    ASTON VILLA – LEYTON ORIENT
I don’t like betting on Cup football because it is unpredictable but on the other hand going against the favourites may be profitable in may occassions (everyone is surely aware of yesterday’s ManU 4-0 defeat). I’ll be going against Aston Villa win today and select away win or draw.
Aston Villa was not convincing at all in their last games and it won’t be an easy game for them

BACK LEYTON ORIENT OR DRAW (odds: 2.38)

    BIRMINGHAM – SUNDERLAND
This one looks like a close game to the bookies but I will be on Birmingham to win. They played for home games this season (in August) and had 2 wins and 2 draws (Sunderland 2 draws) but when you look at H2H games you will see that Sunderland playing away has never won with Birmingham (I had a look back since 19.12.1998). Birmingham to win is 3.24 which is a great price.

    BACK BIRMINGHAM (odds: 3.24)

Good luck whatever you back today!

    AFC Champions League Final Stages
FC Seoul v Pohang Steelers2nd leg of the Champions League game today after a 0-0 draw in the first leg last week and everything is pointing towards a low scoring affair.Lets start with the H2H record between the 2 clubs and the last 6 games have seen 5 go under 2.5gls and BTTS only coming up in 1 game…. 0-0,0-0,0-1,1-3,2-0 and 0-1FC Seoul have contested 32 games in 2014,21 of those games have went under 2.5gls. They have scored 37 goals in those 32 games and conceded just 29 times so that’s a total of 61 goals in 32 matches which is a little under 2 gls per game average.Pohang have played 28 games in 2014,14 games have went under 2.5gls but interestingly 10 of their 11 this season have been under 2.5 gls including 5 games that ended 0-0,they have scored only 8 times in those 11 games.Under 2.5 has no real value at 1/4 so im going too look at the goal line for this match and go for under 1.5 goals which has come up in 4 of the last 6 meetings between the clubs

    Under 1.5gls 2.425 WIN
FC Seoul too win by 1 gl 11/4 LOSE
Both teams too score – No 4/6 WIN

  164. Mr H 10 years ago

Croatia Cuptoday and im looking at the match between NK Lucko Zagreb v Novigrad.the home side have won just 8 of their last 28 games which is a poor record by anyones standards.

    Novigrad too win 13/5 WIN
    Novigrad + 0.5gls 1.925 WIN
    Draw/Novigrad dbl chance 10/11 WIN

I don’t really like to back south american games but this game stands out in the

    COPA SUDAMERICA:

    RIVER PLATE VS. UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA

River won the away leg 0 -1 and are in decent form domestically in Uruguay with a WLWWL only to concede to a late goal in their last match.

Universidad are in horrible form in Chile LWLLL and are still adjusting to a new manager.

    RIVER TO WIN @ 2.25
    or safer option: RIVER 0,-0.5AH @ 1.95

Today i’ve gone for SUNDERLAND and RIVER PLATE double (0, -0.5)AH
    paying 3.95.

    Safe and sound.

P.S – Mr.Fixit i’m still eagerly anticipating the website changes, but in the mean time it would be great if admin could add local timestamps to the comments. It would help greatly keep track of the time differentials experienced by tipsters outside the U.K!

    Much appreciated!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

The Anomaly, local timestamps won’t be a feature of the site anytime soon and probably not even when we change. We’re UK based and our main market is UK while we welcome anyone from any country to contribute.

    • The Anomaly 10 years ago

I understand but what i’m trying to say is that the comments have a date_stamp already so to add a time_stamp would be a simple one line code fix – nothing major at all.

By having a timestamp appearing would benefit ANY user on the site as it would allow the user to see how long ago the comment/tip was posted and make their bet/decision accordingly…

I urge you to consider, the fix is minimal and the benefit is maximal!

Timing is everything in this game! :)

    Bit of advice please troops!

Some of you may have noticed yesterday I posted what I thought was a decent looking value bet in Malmo and btts at 12/1 with Coral.

It just so happens I was back on Coral today checking my pending bets for tonight when I noticed they have changed the above bet to Malmo to win to nil.

This was definetly not the case when I placed the bet yesterday. It looks to be the case Coral have made a mistake and had their ‘to win and btts’ market banner under where the ‘to win to nil’ market banner should have been.

I only went to Coral as oddschecker had them best price at 12s in the match result and btts market.

So in summary I’m not sure what I’m rooting for in that game now…personally I only backed it as a value bet with smaller than usual stakes as I would imagine RB will have too much about them.

Do I have have a leg to stand on if Malmo btts come home as this was definitely the bet I placed?

    Cheers!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Marky, contact them and sort it out before it starts.

    • Marky mark 10 years ago

Have done Raal, hopefully they accept their mistake and let me keep me my 12/1.

Btw well done on the Polish btts game!

I was on it so a good start to the night!

      Cheers!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

  181. EdRhodes89 10 years ago

    Malmo v RB Salzburg

Should see goals tonight, as Mr F and others have already flagged up. Salzburg will be cursing the liability that is their defence after that last minute concession to Malmo in the 1st leg and it puts some pressure on them to get the away goal, meaning we should see an open game.

Mr Fixit has already mentioned RBS Captain, Jonatan Soriano, as a likely scorer and I would not put anyone off backing him at a best 1.93 with 888sport. My money will be on his strike partner Alan, provided he starts.

Alan is a Brazilian forward in the mould of Fat Ronaldo albeit not quite in that league. I’ve followed Salzburg closely since Red Bull bought in and I’ve been impressed with Alan from the get go. He gets into attacking positions frequently and netted on his recent return to the side. He is available at EVS any time which I believe is not only excellent value but also likely to come in.

    ***Main bets***
Alan to score any time – EVENS (Ladbrokes, Coral and Betfair)

Salzburg to score in both halves – 6/5 with betway

    ***Small stakes***
    Alan 1st goal – 15/4 with 888sport

    Malmo 1 – 3 Salzburg – 10/1 (various)

    Good luck if anyone’s on.

Pleasure fiddler mate. Hope the MMA keeps going well for you. Did it for around 3 years after teaching tae kwon do but my body told me to stop as it is a very very hard discipline.

    • fiddler 10 years ago

I used to be pro football player for a short period of time, stopped due to several knee injuries at young age, but legs are still strong. Bet you could give me some good tips since I got told that my right low kick got crazy power but since ligaments are not that flexible anymore my high kicks are worse than 8 year olds :) My favourite is still boxing though.

FIDDLER’S BEST BET OF THE DAY

    ARSENAL VS. BEŞIKTAŞ
Arsenal to score in both halves
    25/19 (888sport)

  246. midlandgamble 10 years ago

Harpet I see you tipped a few winning tips I may now observe. Think you look like some one out of the boy band blue or 5 one of them. Good luck and keep researcing. Personally I think QPR is not a bad bet for over evens.

  247. Yann 10 years ago

    My bets for tonight:

-Bilbao and steau bucuresti double to go through to the next round. (should more then double your stake)
Bilbao having scored an away goal in napoli go in this match with the advantage and playing at home.

Bucuresti managed a clean sheet in their home match, Razgrad will have to push and if Bucuresti score they will need to make 3 goals. I am expecting Bucuresti to score a goal.

    -Razgrad – Bucuresti BTTS
    -Malmo – Salzburg BTTS

Reasoning for the BTTS should be obvious, expecting an open game in the malmo match.

    GL everyone!

Also done a 4 fold £387 from £10, which Norway absolutely tanked, I wouldn’t mind but they got 12 corners! RT 9 would have been even sweeter.

Neckarelz vs Wormatia btts in 2nd hf @ 9/4 Won
Flora vs Sillimae over 3.5 @ 6/5 Won

Al . Does my memory serve me right that you did one of these challenges last year and was very successful and banked some nice profit along the way. Good luck mate I genuinely like watching these kind of challenges and I wish you all the success in the world mate

    • AL 10 years ago

Yeah, started with £10 & got up to about £750ish then I banked £500 and it proved to be a good decision as the next bet was a loser and I lost the rest.

Arsenal not looking great going forward, 10 minutes left for someone to find me a goal!

    • Alex 10 years ago

Raal-just a tongue in cheek comment in reference to what you said to BG “every day will soon be xmas day” ;) So let it be xmas every day. You know me go largish on your core bets. Got £100 on Arsenal, Stoke, Sunderland to qualify and a Hearts win, any ideas on how to cover??

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Cant really cover at present Alex. Every day will be Xmas but some even more xmasy :)

    • AL 10 years ago

Danny, Craig, John, Derek, Mr H

      It was never in doubt….

Seriously though, it’s unreal how much last minute goals help out in these bets, if anyone remembers the challenge where I got up to over £700 on, there were a good 3/4 games that produced a goal in the last couple of minutes, or injury time!

    • Danny T 10 years ago

      Yeah I remember one

    • Danny T 10 years ago

I remember one or two that were very last second goals . But you did well that’s the main thing and you came away with the big profit :-)

  282. Horsing Around 10 years ago

Does anyone think it’ll go corner crazy in the 2nd half of the Arsenal game? Not been watching it.

Well done AL – got on your challenge bet. On to the next one.

    • AL 10 years ago

      Cheers Horsing Around.

Remember anyone who’s followed, you could quite easily bank your initial £10 stake and play with the remaining £11.88 on the rest of the challenge. That way if it were to fail you’d be no worse off, and still in with a chance of banking around £250 profit should it be successful.

Got a shortlist of 5 games in the Europa so far for tomorrow, will post the treble once I’ve whittled them down to 3

Some good lines tonight Mr F on a tough card, nice one!

    • AL 10 years ago

Seems like a good day had by most.

Mr F’s treble came in. Johnb’s NAP came in, hopefully a return to form.

Had a decent return earlier in the day with the Global game, didn’t really stake much on tonight’s game’s other than my challenge. Only other bet was a 4-fold, Mr F’s treble with Johnb’s Nap which paid 10/1, so thanks again!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

AL, just back from seeing the Bankies lose so wasn’t in a great mood until you told me Johnb’s nap won. It’s cheered me up a bit.

    • AL 10 years ago

Forgot to add the BTS double & Super Single. Great night from you on the betting front.

  319. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Daz no bother, i didn’t realise they were 2-0 down tbh but as soon as the 2nd went knew itd be a winner, shame i never had the celtic corners stake on it :)

At Rafaell 5-2 up at HT and 3-0 down at home so RT7 will be up soon ( 57 mins ) ;)

  320. alec 10 years ago

qpr and villa always strugle in that cup chers mr f gd ss money back i lost backing celtic last night

  321. Bookies Can Lose 10 years ago

    Is a 2/7 selection really a tip?

  322. Ricky 10 years ago

Thought the BTTS Bradford v Leeds game was gone with 10 mins to go, needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed my account balance! Nice one Mr F, should’ve kept faith!

  323. Leon 10 years ago

Well done chaps, backed Sunderland at 11/4 when it was 0-0 happy days.
What the majority on tonight anyone spot anything interesting.

Raal looking forward to your tip tomorrow mate. Hope I catch it in time so the price doesn’t hit the ground by the time a 1000 people are on it lmao.

  324. AL 10 years ago

Who was it that had Malmo to win & keep a clean sheet @ 12/1?

Hope you never got the bet voided & stung the bookies on that one!

  325. alec 10 years ago

harpreet think you wrote wrong team u tipped arsenal to go through they wouldnt have been gd odds mate

  326. Harpreet 10 years ago

    Craig

Depending on what u stake ;-)

Bradford v leeds btts thanks to BG again depending on what u stake mate can make a very very very good night…. ;-)

    Lovely jubly

    • PA 10 years ago

Bullshitter. Like the odds on your BTTS. Raal finds value in them. Should title your BTTS ‘Harpreet’s Howlers’

  327. Alex 10 years ago

Raal-my original stake has now been trebled, what do you reckon should I cover or let the bet run, it’s Hearts after all? ;)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Go as advised previously Alex ;)

  328. Harpreet 10 years ago

    Alec

Arsenal before game starting and when they went down to 10 men stake again brings home lively profit :-)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

What price were they to qualify when they lost a man harpreet?

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Just to clarify harpreet you backed Arsenal to qualify at around 1/4 to obviously a huge stake. At 1-0 up they have a man sent off and you backed them again????

    • Danny T 10 years ago

Raal I was looking at markets around the time of the sending off and I don’t think it made much difference at all mate to the arsenal to qualify price. If that’s any use to you ?

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Danny they traded around 1/10 to 1/12 as they led 1-0 at the time and there were only 15 minutes left when he was sent off.

    • Danny T 10 years ago

Raal exactly so would have been very pointless in backing them for a second time .

  329. Bookies Can Lose 10 years ago

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Olivier Giroud had surgery today and will be out until January!

  330. Craig Alves 10 years ago

£50K :) sorry had to do it before somebody did haha

    • fiddler 10 years ago

To 7 hells with you craig, you’re not going to beat me next time mate ;)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Would need to be more than 50k Craig to recoup his BTTS loss earlier as that was a large stake ;)

    • daz 10 years ago

50k bets lol hans christian Anderson.

    • fiddler 10 years ago

Think you’re wrong my dear raal, it was a loss after all so probably small stake……………

  331. Wato 10 years ago

AL I think it was Marky Mark sorry if it wasnt but I also think it was malmo to win and btts would have been a cracking bet that one too

    • AL 10 years ago

Can’t remember who it was, bit they said last night they had placed a bet on Malmo to win & BTTS @ 12/1, but when they checked today the betslip said Malmo to win & keep a clean sheet @ 12/1!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Al, MarkyMark or something like that. I hope he let it run.

    • Marky mark 10 years ago

Malmo to nil paid out 12s!

Strange how things pan out sometimes…I’ve put a bit more chat about what happened but is currently awaiting the dreading moderation!

    • Jack 10 years ago

Well, for those of you backing him as top scorer, or looking at Saturday’s matches or anything.
Diego Costa is injured :/ hopefully Destro comes in.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Wato, the bet they said it should have been was Malmo to win to nil.

  332. madmanRAB 10 years ago

Thanks to all who post team info and opinions. I was able to recoup yesterdays loses and i’m still learning not to chase them! Today with arsenal, stoke -1, Malmo game O2.5MG, Ludogorets game U2.5MG, Leverkusen game O2.5MG :)

  333. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Raal looking up that was just the DC?? BookisWouldn’t see my ££ betting any ££ on a team to qualify 1-0 up on aggregate v 10 men at they odds no matter how good the odds were/bad the away team were

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Prematch Arsenal were 1/6 to qualify Craig, at 1-0 up they moved to around 1/25 as an away goal would see them out but bookies priced what had happened over what might happen, the sending off saw them come into around 1/12 to qualify so harpreets bet at 2/9 or 1/6 was topped up in play at 1/12 when they went a man down. Hands up who believes a word of that story :)

    • Matty p 10 years ago

Raal to be fair I saw arsenal to qualify at 1/3 just after kick off, that’s almost 17k profit from 50k. Booming all the way to the bank ;-)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

1/3 to 1/25 at 1-0 matty so hopefully harpreets personal trader accommodated his extremely large wager in running with the minimum of fuss :)

    • Paul C 10 years ago

  334. fiddler 10 years ago

AL you’re a genius and I feel so stupid for never trying to back over 0.5 goals first half. Intrigued by your post I’ve picked up 3 games, odds slightly above 1/1 and it won. As with any other ways for betting I’ll test it for a week or two becore posting any tips since it might be beginners luck but hats off to you sir anyway :)

    • AL 10 years ago

Fiddler, genius I am not! ha. Its a market I do well off, although you’ll never get rich quick off it, the balance will rise slowly but surely

  335. Capone31 10 years ago

Harpreet, you must have lumped on at that price , profit is profit

    ———–

    ** WON :) **

  337. AL 10 years ago

Get the Ludogorets v Steaua game on folks!

Penalties and the Ludogorets keeper got sent off in injury time in extra time. They’ve used all 3 subs so an outfield player will have to go in goal for the penalty shoot out.

    • AL 10 years ago

8/13 for Steaua to win the shoot out for anyone that fancies it

    • AL 10 years ago

Ludogorets defender saved 2 penalties to win the shootout, incredible!

    • Alex 10 years ago

AL- I went for the reckless bet and fairy tale ending with the Bulgarians. What a gk!!

    • AL 10 years ago

He done well! I stuck half my winnings off the 4-fold on Steaua. Never mind, still up tonight. You’d expect a team to win 8 out of 10 times when their opponents have an outfield player in goal for a shootout, so at 8/13 Steaua represented good value

    ——

    ** WON :D **

Been away at football training all night so didn’t get to see the game and don’t know if I was lucky or not but it was nice to come home to an odds against win!

Thanks to anyone who trusted me and well done to all winners :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Chip, I didn’t see any of the game but listened to what I could on the radio. Seems Besiktas were denied a stonewall penalty but I also tipped them to win to nil so happy with that.

  339. Stormin 10 years ago

Well done Mr F and everyone else. Used tips from the site and landed a nice double over 3.5 cards Bradford v Leeds & Sunderland win. 4 fold let down 2nd day running by 1 team, QPR this time but fair play to Burton! Glad to see Leicester, Villa and Birmingham get knocked out at home always a great feeling! Onwards and upwards

  340. SefK 10 years ago

been a really good day all in all.. tried to hit Leeds in play with 15 mins left at 5/1 then 11/2 got home.. pounded the air blink and its 2-1 looool

Unless ur my accountant or bank manger why question my stake ??

Concentrate on your own betting will u Raal ??

  344. nightowl 10 years ago

Cheers to whoever posted the Portsmouth team news earlier, saw it when I nipped to the bog at work and got on Stoke -1. Arsenal to win to nil at 6/5 and to win to nil in 90 minutes at 6/4 means it’s been a profitable day, fingers crossed for another good one tomorrow!

  345. Harpreet 10 years ago

It just so happens that Raal took his dog out for a walk just at the same time BBC website confirmed the new manager of Crystal Palace. Lol lll

    Then as he was typing…..

    Typing on 888.sport….guess what ??

The odds changed….lol lll Yeh right ok

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

The odds changed from 4/1 to 1/5 harpreet costing me a potentially big profit, an honest story where I actually lost out as opposed to you winning every single day on every single bet including losing ones ;) I done exaggerate my betting harpreet but you take it to another level and actually do not grasp how to do it correctly.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Just reading that back harpreet, you really do not understand how this all works do you? :) I made up a story where I lost money? Hmmm think about it for a second.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Harpreet, remember last time this happened I said it’s best not to quote stakes – well it’s happened again. No one believes people put stakes like £50k on bets like that and the average joe doesn’t want to hear it either.

Best lesson I’ve learned since joining this site is to never chase your losses. I used to lose so much with big stakes on long odds after a losing bet. Level stakes and research will pay off in the end, might not get huge wins anymore but lots more smaller wins add up just the same.

I’m being the bigger man and leaving you to it.

I know what I won and lost so no worries.

Don’t want to keep looking like a child on this thread as loads of other people on this site understand that my btts bets have won and are quite regular so will keep to that.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Harpreet, time to let it go. No one cares about stakes – it’s the tip that’s important and the bigger the price the better. Raaljaca has made peace with you – do the same and look forward to the wedding.

Thinking of a over 2.5 goals double tonight

    Copa do Brazil

    Palmeiras v Atletico Mineiro

    4 of last 5 H2Hs have gone over 2.5

3 of last 6 Palmeira games have gone over 2.5 they have also scored in all of these games

4 of last 6 Atletico games have gone over 2.5 and have scored in all 6

    MLS

    LA Galaxy v DC United

    4 of last 7 H2Hs have gone over 2.5

5 of last 6 LA games have gone over 2.5 and they have scored in all 6

4 of last 6 DC games have gone over 2.5 and they have scored in 4 of these games

    Double pays 3/1

  368. fiddler 10 years ago

This reminds me of an old story. Some years ago I was a member of a serbian betting forum (thank god for online translators) and there was a bloke there who to this day I regard as best tipper ever. He was posting like 2 ice hockey games a day so the odds were always above Evens and his accuracy was around 90%. Needless to say I won plenty of money thanks to that wizard. Problems started when some not very intelligent bloke started to comment his own and this guys winners with some odd word like BAAAZAAAAMMM or sth. Shortly after a thread changed to 1 post with tips and then 40-50 people commenting with BAAAZAAAAMMM and variations. Funny enough admins and mods neglected all that so that tipster decided to quit that message board and never posted anything again. I believe that whole forum stopped working few months later (at least they don’t exist anymore)

What’s funny to me is that now I see Raaljaca, by far best football tipser I’ve seen in a long time, having been put in a place where he needs to have an insignificant and almost insulting conversations with someone full of sh€€€t and insecurities. I admire your calmness mate and adore these sarcastic comments, god knows I wouldn’t been able to behave like that (personality to explosive) ;)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

I like that story fiddler mate. I have been places and seen things in life that many hopefully never will and every day now is basically a good day where we can laugh, bet and win. I mean no harm to anyone else but do at times speak my mind.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

I spent some time in Serbia between 1992-1993 fiddler as a translator as I speak, not quite fluent, Serbo-Croation. Never been back but I will one day.

  369. Marky mark 10 years ago

Coral paid me out on my ‘accidental’ Malmo to win to nil bet at 12/1. :)

I placed the bet believing I was backing Malmo and btts but Corals website had the market banner around the wrong way and according to them I actually backed Malmo to win to nil (which if I’m being totally honest wouldnt have touched)

I sent them an email about an hour before start of the game to tell them in my opinion they accepted the wrong bet from me due to them having btheir market banners around wrong way and if it possible to change it to Malmo and btts.

No one has got back to me as of yet and I have already withdrew my winnings…just gonna send them an email now to tell them to scrap the original email as my brother had a gun to my head and makes me send crazy emails to betting companies sometimes for a laugh! ;)

  370. Sibby 10 years ago

Could anyone give me a tip please on river plate kicking off in 10 mins ? I’m desperate I lost £500 Aston villa and over 1.5 goals on Arsenal
    Thanks

    • Danny T 10 years ago

Sibby. For what it’s worth mate there isn’t a quick fix. Save your money clear your head and go again another day. Don’t go chasing on an Argentinian game in the middle of the night. Go back to level stakes. I personally follow raal and do a few very small bets of my own these days. I like seeing peoples points of view also. I do level stakes with raals selections . Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint but I am also learning more and more each day . Good luck whatever you do mate

    • Jack 10 years ago

It’s live here today. My advice as I’m sure everyone else’s is that you shouldn’t chase it. And I don’t know about your betting bank, but the fact you use the word ‘desperate’ my advice would be to lower your stakes. Set up a betting bank, with only what you can afford to lose. Lower stakes and aim to make the money back through multiple (10 or 20 or however many) smaller bets over time.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Sibby, don’t be if you’re desperate – honestly. Stop now. Gambling is for fun and with what stakes you can afford so don’t chase the £500 losses. Take a break and return when you have a betting bank that you can manage. Also never bet sums like that on the Capital One Cup on a weakened team.

    • kevin 10 years ago

sibby wait to the weekend, more matches and people have got more time to research tips team news etc.

    Craig

I have not even done anything wrong that’s the thing and not even mentioned stakes ??

Raal has got personal suggesting I work in an office etc. I think that’s wrong. If you don’t know somebody I’m sorry but you should not say such personal things.

I’m a nice guy but don’t appreciate it when raal especially along with a few others simply can’t seem to take it when I win.

so my past btts have come in yes….I have helped people on this site make money and I can’t see anything wrong in that.

It’s funny how it’s all about me hey…

Oh I do wish raal u really knew me I seriously do lol

    • cooldude 10 years ago

harpreet do you work for a financial advisor?

    • One team in Ulster 10 years ago

harpeet, thats not the case. its not people dislike you or dont like to see you winning, your just your own worst enemy sometimes. before you open your mouth engage your brain first.

    Thanks Mr F,

    All the best,
    Jake Hicks

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Jake, that’s what I’m here for but like Johnb will have good and bad runs. I do better when I have more time but as a full-time employee of the Daily Record my time is more limited on the days I work on the sports desk.

  383. Ash 10 years ago

I know I shouldn’t encourage, but i’m in stitches reading the dialogue between Raal and Harpreet.

Harpreet, the issue is that you post tips every day that have associated poor odds because they are likely winners. Then when they win, you go BOOMING all over the shop like you’ve just landed a 150-1 accumulator.

There was a chap on here a while ago, was it the banker? He bet on stuff only with 1/2 odds or less and risked a grand of his cash as an experiment. I don’t know what the result of that was, but the last time I read his posts, he wasn’t doing so well. The reason being that you have to lump considerably to get a return on poor odds, and it takes only one unexpected loss to lose you half of your bankroll.

There are people here who spend hours scouring stats sites and develop a science in a bid to generate good bets with decent value. Your tips don’t represent either. Sorry mate

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Ash, thebanker is doing fine. He emails me at the Record now and again but struggles to get a signal from his new retirement home in Rottnest Island wherever that may be. I keep meaning to ask him but I’m scared he says “off Orkney” or something like that and it will lose it appeal.

  384. Sibby 10 years ago

Thank you all ! Ur right best to go back to smaller stakes and hopefully win it back slowly !!!!
    Thumbs up

  385. Harpreet 10 years ago

    Mr fix it

I’m letting it go like you said don’t have to prove nothing.

On to the winning tips and yes what a great night :-)

  386. Ricky 10 years ago

MarkyMark, always good to hear about the bookies loosing, even better when we can beat them when we don’t even mean it! Haha nice one mate

    • Marky mark 10 years ago

Cheers Ricky, was defo fortunate on the malmo bet but I like to feel that I deserved it somehow! ;) Aye right!

    • cooldude 10 years ago

Harpreet Its for your own good. You know how much Id hate to see you lose your money :) :)

  388. Darren 10 years ago

The unofficial rule of betting DONT CHASE YOUR LOSSES
Sure everyone has done it at one pout and YES you learn your lesson!!!
Some night lets hope the europa will do is a few favours, it’s always better to bet on the second legs especially for goals!

  389. Mxc 10 years ago

Anyone betting on this Cobresal game? Luckily I haven’t touched it, but they’re playing 8 men and still can’t manage to win….well there’s 8 minutes to go but so far they haven’t scored since General Diaz had players sent off.

  390. Jake Hicks 10 years ago

    Mr F,
I’m a big boy and spend as I see fit. I appreciate your time.
    Thanks again,
    Jake

  391. Ash 10 years ago

    Harpreet mate.

Combine your low-odds bets for the next few days into a four or five-fold accumulator and you’ll understand.

  392. Harpreet 10 years ago

    Guys

    On a serious note…

I am off to the Midlands tommorow preparing for my sister’s bug wedding on Saturday :-)

Will post my btts tommorow before I leave for both tommorow, Friday and Saturday ;-)

    Good luck to you all….A

Hoping for some more booms !!!

    • One team in Ulster 10 years ago

you have a good time harpeet we will all miss you mate . on a more serious note! are you going as harpeet or lucy to the wedding????

  393. Jack 10 years ago

Right, bored of this now. Come on lad’s we’re here to make some money and have fun. Sure Harpreet’s not posting evens tips I can understand that.
Perhaps there are some lies going on, I don’t know about that.
At the end of the day though profit is profit no matter how marginal. I’m sure we’d all prefer an evens win, but I’ll take money however I can get it!

  394. Capone31 10 years ago

One more River Plate goal for a 12/5 BAAAZAAAAMMM :D

    • Mxc 10 years ago

Didn’t see your tip Capone, only just got in from work. But I was on over 1.5tg, thinking of going back on 3rd River Plate goal before 80th min @ 10/11

  395. cooldude 10 years ago

Harpreet get some sleep as tomorrow is a big day and you cannot afford any bags under the eyes ;)

    • Jack 10 years ago

Cooldude, I understand that people may get annoyed by the short odds, and see the boom’s as immature or whatever, but surely trying to wind Harpreet up all the time is just as bad?

    • Jack 10 years ago

Well he should be tipping your beloved United right? They’re well overpriced at 1/2 vs Burnley!? Can’t imagine why ;)

    • Jack 10 years ago

Not sure why I’m saying that when I myself will probably back them in some form haha

  396. Harpreet 10 years ago

    Jack

    Thank you mate :-)

  397. Harpreet 10 years ago

    Cool dude

  398. Wato 10 years ago

Marky Mark lol thats class good to see a good bit of luck like that sometimes similar in a way to what I heard today about a girl who meant back man utd to win 4-0 last night but somehow put in on mk dons by mistake and walked away with over a grand I think lol

  399. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Harpreet seriously I’d love love to see you to drop the booms cos it is childish. I used to to hate you but I’ve grown to, wouldnt say love, but i love see you’re bets come in. Drop the booms please Harpreet

    • Jack 10 years ago

On a positive note, cheers for the corners market Craig. I never used to bet on it…I was like meh corners.

  403. Bluemooner1894 10 years ago

Gd luck if u follow? ♡

  404. Mxc 10 years ago

Had given up on River plate before 80 mins, but on the 77th minute they score again. Good win for you too Capone ;)

  405. Capone31 10 years ago

River Plate over 2.5 team goals @ 12/5
    River Plate RT5 @4/9
    RT7 @13/5 small stake

    12/5 Winner
    4/9 Winner

Should of had the 13/5 aswell, such a fine line to getting a corner or not, ball just trickled beside the line, so annoying!

  406. Capone31 10 years ago

Nice one Mxc, they were all over them should have been 4 or 5 easy , so much better than watching that Paraguay or Boliva crap, ping pong football give it away every 2 secs, cracks me up,esp with a bet on.
