GREG gave the Europa league a miss last night but is back with tips from England and Holland.
He says: “It’s now thee weeks since Newcastle kicked off the season and on the whole it’s been a pretty decent start for punters and long may that continue. Taking a chance on Derby and goals in Holland.”
Burton v Derby (7.45pm)
The hosts were destroyed during the week by a rampant Liverpool side and tonight welcome a Derby side who have had a disappointing start to the season. Two draws, a win and a defeat and worryingly they’ve scored just once.
In fairness though they have had an extremely tough start to the season having to play fellow promotion hopefuls Brighton and Villa while trips to Barnsley and Preston are always tough. There’s no denying Derby have a superior squad and given this on paper is their easiest fixture of the season I’m taking them to edge this. Brighton, Villa and Preston have all failed to breach the Derby defence and that should bode well here.
Derby to win 13-10 (boylesports) (NAP)
Derby to score before 54 mins 5-6
Vitesse v Utrecht (7pm)
The six matches these two have played this season have seen over 2.5 goals and both scoring in five of them! It’s the head to head that’s quite incredible. Sixteen of the last 17 have seen three or more goals with 14 of these seeing over 2.5 and both teams scoring. Added to that 13 of those games saw four or more goals.
Going for some small stakes goal bets here.
BTTS and over 2.5 goals 20-23
Over 1.5 First Half goals 5-4
Over 3.5 match goals 6-4
might also have a nibble at btts in both halfs at 9/1 as well…….
