THE big game tonight is Man United v Chelsea and although it's tough to call I've put up a separate post on the game.
Elsewhere Real Madrid travel to Granada aiming to keep pace with champions Barcelona and in Serie A Fiorentina tackle Catania at home. Braga are at home Belenenses in Portugal and there is a full Conference card as well as league matches in Wales.
As I hinted yesterday I have to start my treble with Fiorentina. I saw coach Vincenzo Montella tipping them as possible title challengers and while it's Juventus for me I can see the Florence men again finishing top four – and possibly second or third.
Montella has made some decent signings including Mario Gomez and Joaquin but has lost Stevan Jovetic to Man City. Overall Fiorentina look stronger than last season and should open with a home against a Catania outfit who have lost five of their last six matches in Florence. Fiorentina ware 9-20 at Titanbet.
My final pick is slightly riskier but stats suggest Spartak Moscow will win at Amkar Prem. Spartak have come away from Amkar with seven wins in nine visits – including the last four – and that's a fine record.
They did the double over their opponents last season and have made a fine start to the campaign and taken 10 points from four away matches.
It's 11th v third after a stuttering start to the season by Amkar. My one concern is the number of players rated doubtful by Spartak coach Valeri Karpin so anyone who knows the visitors' best line-up can check teams before committing to a bet. I'll be on the golf course so want have that luxury but 3-4 Spartak seems decent value.
Complete the treble with Swiss Challenge League side Wil who sit second in the Challenge League after four wins and a draw. More impressively they have netted 14 goals in those matches including five last time out against Wohlen.
Opponents Biel-Bienne are not short of firepower either, scoring 10 and conceding six, and alternative to taking Wil at 4-11 you could back both to score or over 3.5 goals and even over 3.5 (1-1, Titanbet).
Biel-Bienne's last two matches have featured 14 goals – one league and one cup – while Wil's previous three have totalled 15.
Wil v Biel Bienne and Man Utd v Chelsea have to be on my both to score treble. Complete it with Hyde v Grimsby. Hyde have conceded 14 in four games this season but only failed to score in that 8-0 loss to Forest Green.
They beat Grimsby 3-2 at home last time out and face a side who have seen both score in three of their last four matches.
My Super Single is Forest Green who travel to pointless Chester in the Conference. The home side have suffered four defeats on the bounce and it should be five against a Forest Green outfit who haven't won since an opening-day 8-0 rout of Hyde.
However, two draws and a 2-1 defeat at Lincoln suggest they're not too far away and anything but a victory at sorry Chester would be a surprise.

I agree that the Enlish leagues are somewhat unpredictable but the Spanish league in my opinion is too one-sided to make any serious profit and the German bundesliga with the exception of Bayern, is a minefield at best.

wonder how many jumped on my derby county -1 against yeovil? the day before i dropped my £20 on it, it was 11/4, when i put my bet down it went to 3/1. I also stated that russel was quality and martin was fitter than he was the end of last season. they both scored in the 3-0 win. Morning all! I was away for the weekend with no 3G so didn’t manage to do much but what I did was terrible. However, I think I have confirmed to myself that the overs market is definitely the way forward. Went back to the win-draw-win markets as couldnt get on inplay stuff and I won nothing.

Bulleen Lions vs South Melbourne women´s
The undisputed leader South Melbourne travels to 9th place Bulleen´s stadium in a game that may have potencial. South Melbourne is without any doubt that best team in the league having 17 wins and 1 draw in 18matches. Their goal ratio is staggering with 95 goals scored and 5 conceeded. It´s Nesodden 2 vs Sarpsborg 2 at 5.30pm. I think this game will provide us over boys a good ammount of goals. Eighth Sarpsborg 2 against second from bottom Nesodden 2. Sarpsborg 2 was envolved in the game i tipped and ended with a 15 win by them against Boler. Nesodden comes from two emphatic defeats 7-0 against Oslo City and 8-0 against Skeid. Sarpsborg also comes from two defeats but has interesting results that might signal that sometimes main team players might play for them. That´s very implicit in the 6-0 trashing of second place Sprint Jeloy who is one of the best teams in the league.
Since the two teams come from two defeats, i think we might be lucky and get full markets from the bookie. If it happens i can tell you that i will go full throttle and hope that Sarpsborg give them a Boler treatment hehe

craig kavanagh – the matches/tips I’m posting here are just one of the series I’m running. Each series have it’s own bankroll. Another way of spreading the risk. Yesterday I were 1/5 but made money on for example a couple of Swedish, French and Argentine matches.
Most of my series are (really) long term series. Some series are 3-10 matches and some are just one match at the time. The fewer the matches I’m betting at the time the more money are being made. The bet are important for sure but the stakes are just as important.

The Dane, the long-term aspect is really important. I’ll be first to admit my weekend results on the site were poor and a few people judged me on that. However, it’s been a good month and I’II be in profit no matter what happens this weekend. And like you I still won over the weekend thanks to a 28-1 junior football accumulator (basically Scottish non-league) and a lucky line where I meant to do draws but did HT draws and got four out of four.
Mr Fixit – the thing all we punters have to understand and remember are that if a tipster have a strike rate of 52-55 out of a 100 on 2,00 odds type matches then that’s a briiliant strike rate. But this also means that it’s mathematically possible not to be right not 10 times in a row but even more. And all you can do about it as a tipster and as a punter are to wait it out.

Morning Sly, That Aussie game has full markets up for overs in the first half but not much else just now.
I’ve a had a look at the other Aussie game Cumberland United v Adelaide City at 11:45am.
Its 6th plays 10th but both these teams score and concede a lot. In 24 games Cumberland have scored 49 and conceded 60 an average of 4.5 goals per game and Adelaide after 25 have scored 64 and conceded 33, an average of 3.8 goals per game. Adelaides last two games have been 10:0 and 6:1 so they are in good scoring form. However be warned that the previous fixture between these teams finished 2:0.
I think the stats point to a good candidate for overs so in what is a pretty quiet morning I’ll take a chance on over 1.5fhgs and 3.5 match goals.

I´d be cautious with the aussie game because of the 2-0 result in the first match between them. Even so will probably go +1,5ht and +3,5ft as i think the change of venue will probably make Bulleen less defensive. It´s all speculation. Will probably have a go at your tip also, i like your reasoning. Besides not much left till afternoon norwegian games. Plenty of conference and i´m waiting to hear some opinions of our british users but to tell you the truth the hit ratio in taking conference tips in this site is very low.

This is a top of the table clash as 4th placed Lovetch take on 3rd placed Lyubimets. Lovetch have a reasonably good home record so far this season with a record of P3 W1 D2 though only one of these games was against a team currently in the top half of the league and that was a draw.
Lyubimets are the main focus of this bet as their away record so far is P2 W1 L1 with the win coming last time out against current 2nd placed Botev Plovdiv. I know this game well as they were winners at 20/1 and although they won 2-1, they were actually 2-0 up until the last 5 minutes. Their overall record is P5 W4 L1 and this includes games against the current top 2 in the league
Botev have won their other 3 home games this season so it was a good result and Lyubimets have also beaten the current league leaders at home so they’re more than capable even though they were only promoted into the league this season.
Given their start to the season and their ability to win away to top ranked sides I think the odds on offer are pretty ridiculous so I’m gonna have a wee punt at it

There’s a full card in the Czech U21 league today. This league has been pretty kind to us for overs bets so far and I think Fathead had a running tally of so many games went over 3.5 goals etc in each game week.
I’ve had a look through and I’m finding it very hard to rule any of the games out. Of the ten I’ve got 7 that I think have overs potential. I need to try and narrow it down a bit as 7 games is a bit much.
Basically I think if you have a look at these fixtures you are not going to be far away on whatever one you pick for an overs game.
reidyq , been looking at the czech U21s this morning and my 3 choices for an o2.5 or o3.5 if you’re brave is Vysochina v Sigma. Taborsko v Bohemians and Znojmo v Jablonec. Figure these games have the most potential from the results so far.

I do mt f’s single and the top treble and the btts I had a profitable week until the weekend blew my profits but that happens I remember towards the end of last season mr f’s tips made over 250 pound on 10 stakes on a Saturday . I will always follow mr f now as I like the tips the reasoning and more often than not the profit. Does anyone have a staking plan that they follow as I just do 10 pound level stakes on mr f’s main tips . Is that the best thing to do any advice from you more experienced guys would be great thanks
Danny T, stakes are very much down to the individual and what you can afford. Also it’s about how much you want to win. The Super Single will at least double your money – but if it’s double a fiver is it worth it? Really only you can decide on the staking plan that suits you best.
Thanks MrF I normally do 10 on the treble 10 on the single . My thinking is that if single comes in then the treble stake is covered. My plan and I don know how viable it is perhaps you could offer some advice on this is to build my betting account like that until it reaches 500 then move the stakes up to 12.50 a go. I am trying for long term gain if that makes any sense?

zee, I’ve seen it. Odds reflect the difficulty as you have half the time for it to come up. Have you looked to see how many games, say in England, saw both teams score in the first half at the weekend?
Zee, I had a treble of BTTS in the first half about 4 weeks ago on the Europa League qualifiers. £5 returned just under £600 but as MrF says the odds reflect the difficulty. That said over a weekend or long midweek list their tends to be 4-5 or 6 that has a first half BTTS so always a chance.

Midtjylland have won all their league games so far scoring 13 and conceding 4. From the first two away games they have scored 5 and conceded just once.
AaB are inconstant at best with W2 D1 L2 from the first 5 games scoring 6 and conceding 6 with no win in the last 3 games.
Bet365 have Midtjylland away win priced at 2.60 which given they have a 100% record in the league so far seem generous to me.

Nick i don´t really have a staking plan. I bet from 10 euros to 300 euros (yes euros i´m on a scottish site but i´m portuguese). I already explained here, that i´m very disciplined. Every month i take a small % of my paycheck and use it for gambling and i don´t cross that limit whether i´m on a bad run or a good run. I can tell you that this week i´ve made max bet twice. In the Rinuzi ht/ft bet at 1.44 that i thought it was almost 100% (like i said on the site i risked my neck, said close to 100% but there is no certain bet) and on Sporting u19. It all depends on my confidence level but i don´t like to say what i bet because i don´t like bragging, i don´t like ppl who show off and i have a mentality that each person bets what they want and it´s no ones business. James, we’ve already discussed Midtjylland which probably looks a 50-50 call. I’d worry slightly about Madrid -1 after last week’s struggle and their last two visits to Granada have been 1-2 and 1-0.

If you place those bets and assuming they come in you will get £90 back from your overs bet (assuming odds 4/5.) and £200 back from you in play bet from RVP. For the in play at odds of 4/1 it will only be £200 back as stake not included. If your RVP doesnt come in though you will get your £50 stake back.

For anyone Interested in a wee bet out of interest then paddy power and doing first player to be booked market and they have no player at 25/1 but if you check under the market for time of first booking it has no booking at 70/1. Gonna try betting on Armenian football for the first time, small stakes. Looking at the Arat 2 vs Banants 3 game i liked the +1,5ht odd at 2.20. Arat has a 12-11 goal ratio in 4 games with 2 5-3 defeats and a 4-1 win. Furthermore they just beat Banants 2 away 2-0. If they beat Banants 2, they should beat Banants 3 as well. The reasoning was good and i went for it, the problem was that it happened the complete opposite. With that i saw that conference betting must be very specific and hard to call. Hank, Belenenses is a historical portuguese club. And one of the few who has been champions along with the 3 giants and Boavista. They got recently promoted and were bought by a former politician. I had some high hopes on Belenenses since they did a flawless promotion campaign and some shrewd buys but after getting trashed 3-0 at home to Rio Ave, i lost some of the confidence. In this game i think the Braga win is the bet to back. Braga has been sucessfully climbing and becoming one of the top clubs in Portugal. Been going to the champions league eliminating Udinese and Seville and won the portuguese league cup last year. They have Sporting´s previous manager Jesualdo Ferreira in charge now. Also former Benfica, Fc Porto, Malaga and Panathinaikos coach. A very experienced one. I think there´s a big chance Braga will win. I have them on my accy. Hope this helps

Hank, just picked up a Racing Post when I was out and they’ve also gone for Spartak Moscow. Doesn’t make me feel any better but I know the reasoning was sound. I also advised anyone betting to check starting line-ups due to doubts over some players. I couldn’t do this as I was playing golf on a rare day off.
PS. Credit to Racing Post’s Steve Palmer who tipped Tommy Fleetwood at 80-1 to win the Johnnie Walker Championship. Am I one of the few people leaning towards Man United- Chelsea for under 2.5 tonight? Im predicting a cagey affair rather than an all out goal fest. 1-0 or 1-1 for me. Moyes and Mourinho know how to set up a team to not concede many and their premier league record shows this.
Hank, it’s possible they’ll cancel each other, especially at this stage of the season. I could make an argument for a low scorer and a high scorer and that’s the problem.

The teams playin in this South african Varsity Challenge must be the worst finishers around. Last week there were around 90 shots at goal and 4 goals. So far in this game between them they have had 91 shots including 54 on target and yet only 3 goals !!

reidyq , been looking at the czech U21s this morning and my 3 choices for an o2.5 or o3.5 if you’re brave is Vysochina v Sigma. Taborsko v Bohemians and Znojmo v Jablonec. Figure these games have the most potential from the results so far.
Finished 0-4, 2-2, 1-3 o2.5 ,o3.5 full house. Only on o2.5 treble myself.
I had mixed results with them. Went for 1.5 fhgs aswell. Only 1 of them came in but did get all the total goals. Its left me slightly up over the 3 games so can’t complain too much.

I have now watched Fiorentinas last 2 matches and while im impressed with them in an attacking sense they are an absolute bunch of stoaters when it comes to defending and every ball into their box looks capable of hitting the net. They play with 4 attack minded midfielders and provide next to no protection for their back line. Thats their 2 competitive games this season gone over 2.5 and this is definately worth noting.
Don’t you think the EPL gets so much hype because any team can really put up a good show against any teams ? can that be said of the lower league round the world just a thought not a criticism of your post.

Yep. Was very nervous was the last team in my Fiorentina and Real treble. Went strong because of Porto B failure. Like i said Belenenses is a good team and did shrewd purchases. Their 3-0 loss against Rio Ave was surprising but now they showed caracther. I will back them in an accy next weekend at home. The Europa league tie had influence on Braga they didn´t look as fresh.
