HEATER WATSON was out of luck in Luxembourg and today it’s British men’s No.2 Aljaz Bedene looking to avoid an early exit in Moscow.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a decent year and faces a player three places below him in the rankings, world No.53 Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan.

Bedene is 25-14 at Marathonbet for the win while Istomin is 8-15 at Unibet and I like the look of over 2.5 sets at 6-4 with bet365.

Russia’s Teymuraz Gabashvili – an 11-8 shot at Ladbrokes – will hope to use home advantage to upset Marathonbet’s 7-10 favourite Viktor Troicki while Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and John Isner are among the names in action in Vienna.

There’s also WTA matches from Moscow and Luxembourg and a handful of NHL and MLB fixtures for the Stateside sport fans.

Good luck with your bets and post your tips and chat here.

Danny, it’s such a classic film. I’m still holding out hope I’ll get a hoverboard for Christmas

Jordan, any particular reason why I don’t seem to find the Falcons game anywhere?

  7. Danny T 1 year ago

Falcons are playing Tennessee Titans Sunday at 5pm mate

  8. Harry 1 year ago

Posted the other day but a couple of bets already for the weekend rugby. There is a huge difference in prices so it definitely pays to shop around. For example NZ HT/FT is as low as 8/13 and NZ to win both halves is as low as 5/6. Savea is as low as 11/10. My only bet for the other SF will be an overs points total but markets not open yet

    New Zealand win HT/FT

    4/5 bet365 (now 8/11)

New Zealand to win both halves

    7/4 bet365 (now 13/8)

    Julian Savea anytime tryscorer

    13/8 williamhill

  9. OriaZ 1 year ago

@Harry, excuse my ignorance but what’s the difference between ‘HT/FT’ and ‘to win both halves’? Sounds like it’s exactly the same to me…

Oriaz, for HT/FT the team needs to be leading at HT but can draw the second half.

I decided to have a blast at the Russian KHL today based solely on nothing but form. I have absolutely no knowledge of the league but having spend an hour studying it, it seems to go based on form. I have started with 10pts so I will try to keep a running total.

Nizhny Novgorod to win 0.5pts **WON** (8-3 scoreline!!)
    Severstal Cherepovets +1 0.5pts **WON**
Sibir Novosibirsk v CSKA over 4.5 goals inc. OT 0.5pts **PENDING** (not looking likely)
Slovan Bratislava to win 0.5pts (6pm)

    Points staked: 2pts
    Points returned: 3.05pts

  11. Harry 1 year ago

Oriaz like Mr F says htft means to be winning at half time and to be winning at full time

    Basketball (Euroleague)

    Panathinaikos V Pinar Karsiyaka

    * Pinar Karsiyaka +9 @ 5/6

Pinar Karsiyaka are currently sitting on top of the Turkish league winning there first two games. They have been impressive and also have a shock win against Barcelona under their belt this season in the Euroleague to add to their good start. Panathinaikos have recently come off a tough win against rivals Olympiakos but although winning games there not dominating games and are picking up wins in their league by smaller margains than expected, too add to that they losed there euroleague opener against Lokomotiv Kuban. The problem is that you could say Karsiyaka are probably punching above their weight this year and I’m hoping this form continues. They are playing too well to ignore atm though and could possibly win this so il take a 9 point start here

  13. Picksix 1 year ago

So the Dolphins are playing the Titans

    In CRICKET , that’s a weird one

  14. Picksix 1 year ago

Dazzler well done with your NHL conversion , noticed you been picking up a lot of winners good work mate

  15. Picksix 1 year ago

Oriaz to win both halfs is basically resetting the score to 0-0 after the Half time , So they need to outscore the opposing team in both halfs whereas HT/FT as long as they win the the first half a team can be outscored in the second as long as they go on to win the game

Jordan good luck with your bets Sunday mate im away this weekend so I’m giving u my blessings early haha Cam Newton MVP

    Today’s KHL

Nizhny Novgorod to win 0.5pts **WON** (8-3 scoreline!!)
    Severstal Cherepovets +1 0.5pts **WON**
Sibir Novosibirsk v CSKA over 4.5 goals inc. OT 0.5pts **LOST**
Slovan Bratislava to win 0.5pts (6pm) **WON**

    Pretty successful 1st day!

    Tomorrow’s bets:

HC Yugra – One of the best home records
Salavat Ufa – Won their last 4 against bottom of Western Conference Dinamo Riga

  19. Dazzler 1 year ago

My only pick tonight may involve the Bruins (60mins) and possibly a couple of anytime scorer bets, I’m waiting on team news though.

Merv was on the 6pm game, nice one.

Cheers picksix, it’s moving in the right direction so fingers crossed it carries on.

  20. Ad 1 year ago

Voegele d Friedsam @ 7/4. Looks a v good price to me. I was actually expecting Voegele to be favourite

  21. Iddy 1 year ago

Ad – saw a bit of Friedsam today and she looked really good. Knocked out the defending champ Beck. Was going to include Friedsam in a double, but going to leave it now haha

  22. Dazzler 1 year ago

    Bruins (60mins) @ 2.05 (1pt)

    Anytime scorer
    Krejci @ 5.0 (0.5pt)
    Randell @ 7.0 (0.3pt)

Betway confusing me by putting the anytime scorer players under the wrong teams. Obviously the way I’ve pointed it up if one comes in it covers the others with a little profit.

  23. merv 1 year ago

I’m glad you got onto Bratislava earlier Dazzler. As I say, I’m far from an expert on KHL hockey but here’s hoping for more success with Yugra and Salavat Ufa tomorrow. I’m also on your Bruins tip so come on Boston!!

  24. Jordan 1 year ago

I feel this total is way too low. Will put a write up tomorrow.

    TNF – Seahawks @ 49ers

    Russell Wilson Over 200.5 Passing Yards @ 5/6 @ PP – 2.2 points
