SWISS starlet Belinda Bencic beat four of the top six seeds on her way to glory in Toronto last week and today she has another scalp in her sights.
The 18-year-old takes on No.11 seed Angelique Kerber at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati and will have backers at 13-8 with Paddy Power.
Kerber – who lost the pair's only previous meeting in straight sets at last year's US Open – is 8-15 favourite at Unibet.
In the men's draw there's an all-American clash between John Isner and Sam Querrey and a battle of teen talents Borna Coric and Alexander Zverev among the matches.

Mint- to be honest I have no real clue which way those matches will go. Im struggling to weigh up so many variables. Giorgi and Pav both have the weaponry to win if they put in consistent performances, but that’s unlikely to happen! I would instinctively expect Giorgi to edge Mchale, but I wouldn’t count on it. Vinci and Pav are both in good form so it’s hard to decide between them. If Pav is erratic she will get punished by vincis steadiness and slice n dice style,of tennis. Play steady and she should hit through her. Pav was leading the h2h 4-1, but Vinci made light work of her recently in their first meeting in years, so I really don’t know!

The Canadian has shown pretty decent form lately, but Dimitrovv has been struggling to find his best tennis all season. He got past Rosol in three sets in the first round this week, but he hasn’t won back to back matches in his last five hard court tournaments. That unimpressive run features losses to Harrison, Robredo, Isner, Johnson and Sock – not exactly an A- list roll call.
Pospisil hasn’t been setting the world alight himself, but he found some form at Wimbledon before suffering from playing tons of doubles and singles and meeting Andy Murray. He been narrowly stopped by an inspired Isner in two of three tournaments since then, but has taken advantage of a more forgiving draw so far this week, and will fancy his chances of getting the better of an opponent who’s forgotten what momentum feels like.

Captain- I would urge real caution against that bet. Stephens, after a long time of frustrating the tennis world by failing to find any sort of mental steel or consistency, has finally got her act together in recent times. She’s had a very consistent four months or so and I fancy her to go well again this week.
CSN is enjoying a bad run of form herself, having lost her last 5 on the spring, which includes a straight sets defeat to stephens. She did well on hard courts earlier this year, and it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see her get revenge if she picks up her game and stephens drops hers, but this isn’t where she’s most comfortable and a stephens win looks like the likely result here.

Ad, was watching some of the Stephens match (surfing on her via in-play/ nice wee profit). Anyway, after the first set her coach comes down and sounded the business, Stephens listened and carried out his instructions to the letter with no let-up after an easy first set, breaking CSN right away in the second set.

I’m placing a few spare pounds on Mahut to overturn a 1-4 final set defecit upon the resumption on play tonight. Donaldson seems to be a good young player but is seriously inexperienced compared to the veteran Frenchman. Mahut has found some good form in recent months, and more importantly has plenty of experience of mentally resetting and coming back firing after break. Donaldson has had a lot of time to overthink the situation he’s in, and @ 7/1 I’ll take a chance on Mahut jumping on any lapse or uncertainty. Could well be over in 10 minutes, but you never know!

Hmmmm, not sure about Tomic. I’m not his biggest fan. Someone like
dolgo has the extra aggression that can hurt him. Think it could be a long, ttough one. also not confident enough in radwanska to Get on her 2-0. Schmiedlova is a talented player and if she can get a foothold in the match she could make things competitive. A bit inexperienced On this surface and and at this level, but unless I have a real gut feeling about something or the odds are long I don’t like to Dabble too much on favourites in the WTA!
