THERE were goals galore in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday and while the games didn’t go completely to plan for me I got out with damage limitation.
I fancied away wins for Ross County and Dundee but my main advice was to take them draw no bet for a bit of insurance.
Dundee dominated the derby and missed a string of chances before going 2-0 behind. But they kept believing and in a thrilling finish snatched a point in injury time.
County took the lead so the Super Single could have been covered but St Johnstone hit back after the break to earn a point.
There are three more matches in the Premierhip tonight and joint leaders Celtic and Hearts can make it three wins out of three.
Kilmarnock are unlikely to stand in the way of the Hoops although Hearts could get it tougher at home to Motherwell. A double on the 100 per centers pays 7-5 at McBookie and BetVictor and will be one of the most popular punts tonight.
Celtic are no bigger than 1-4 at Labrokes to win so everyone but the biggest gamblers will be studying other markets. The champions are yet to concede and Killie still to score so an obvious bet would be Celtic to win to nil at 8-11 with Stan James.
Ronny Deila’s men are in the middle of a hectic schedule and 2-0 at 6-1 with BetVictor will be popular. However, with Killie having conceded six in two games a 3-0 at 7-1 with McBookie is my shout.
Celtic minus one should come in at 4-6 at Paddy Power while Celtic minus two is 17-10 with the same firm.
Wait for team news before choosing a first scorer as this has been a tough one to call with Celtic this season.
That’s not the case with Hearts who have a new hero in Juanma after three goals in his first two league encounters.
The Spaniard is 5-1 at Betfred to break the deadlock and decent value at 7-4 with the Manchester firm to net.
It’s difficult to see past Hearts at 10-11 with McBookie but they’ve conceded in their three league and cup victories this season so Hearts and both to score could come in at 31-10 with McBookie.
The third Premier League game is the toughest to call as Inverness tackle Partick Thistle at home. Both are struggling for goals and under 2.5 at 5-6 with McBookie could be the best bet.
(17-10, Paddy Power)
Juanma (Hearts) to score
ICT v Partick under 2.5 goals
