IT'S a new month and the start of the Scottish season proper with Ladbrokes Premiership matches and League Cup first-round ties.
I'll post separate previews on the Premiership weeekend openers as well as antepost tips.
July finished with the Super Single total 17.4pts up after one win and one loss on Friday while the Top Treble ended up nearly 13pts down but I hope to improve on that when the real action starts.
I'm featuring the top tips I have in Saturday's Daily Record but this season that won't always be the case. I may delay putting up all or some of the site tips until a Saturday morning as that will give me a few extra hours to check team news and study form.
Rangers -1 are on a few of the selections even though that game takes place on Sunday. It's too good to resist as they welcome Peterhead in the League Cup on the back of last week's 6-2 hammering of Hibs.
As well as the Scottish games there are plenty others across Europe to look at and I'm on both to score in the German Super Cup between Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg (stats suggest it will happen) and PSG to beat Lyon in the French dress rehearsal in Montreal.
PSG have been in good form pre-season, holding Chelsea and beating Man United in the States to stay unbeaten, while Lyon have suffered a nightmare run and looked awful at the Emirates as they crashed 6-0 to Arsenal and 2-0 to Villarreal.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted against both the English sides and looks in the mood. He's worth a look at 10-3 with BetVictor to score first. Try a double with Celtic's Leigh Griffiths who will start at the expense of the banned Nadir Ciftci.
My Super Single is League One favourites Dunfermline who started life under Allan Johnston superbly last week with a 4-1 Challenge Cup win at an Arbroath side who gave Hearts a League Cup scare on Thursday. Things are looking up for the Pars and they'll be determined to maintain the feelgood factor by putting one over Fife rivals Cowdenbeath.
Last Saturday's Super Single and Top Treble were winners but again the advice this weekend is to play with low stakes. Ladbrokes are sponsoring the top tips so their prices will be quoted if available – bigger odds may be available.

Early doors here but I’m putting up my first bet for next Saturdays English openers.
Hull have got way too good of a squad for the Championship with the likes of Jelavic, Hernandez, Snodgrass, Huddlestone and Diame. Lost their best centre back in James Chester but still have a defence sufficient enough to perhaps reach the playoffs in my opinion. Come up against a Huddesfield side who are tipped for big things this season being 4th favourite to finish bottom.

We will be back shortly, decided to wait until a few games into the main leagues until we bring them back, so sometime in September.
We are using July and August to look at AH underdogs, for instance we are backing Levksi +2 this evening (currently 0-0 at HT)
Underdog betting has huge potential and we are quite close to nailing down the lines and forumla to make the picks
As with anything new it takes a bit of time and we prefer not to bet or tip until we are certain it delivers
As for corners, we suffered in June from the lack of league games and ventures into friendlies, woman’s football and international proved not to deliver the results we wanted. Our rule has always been to wait until leagues are at least 5 games in, which is why I say September.
