IT'S that time of year when many sides are involved in meaningless games and that makes it tougher for punters.
I've focused mainly on sides with something to play for and thrown in a couple of other teams who are finishing the season strongly.
As new sponsors of this column I'll be quoting Unibet's odds for each of my lines (where they have odds available). You can claim a £20 free bet when you open an account at Unibet via this site.

So here's what I'm on today with Newcastle my Super Single as the try to stay on course for a Champions League slot at Wigan.
My homes line pays a massive 67-1 but looking at the teams individually I have to fancy them. But obviously the odds tell the story.

West ham , Southampton and Newcastle for me today
Southampton crawley shrewsbury swansea berwick alloa £30 stake returns £390.
Had £50 on the dutch 1st division last night, all games to be over 1.5 goals, duly obliged, with last goal scored in 91st minute. £155 return. Great league for goals. Good luck to all punters today.
Hi Paul,
I might be wrong,but was
St Mirren not the 5th team
to score last week for Golden
goal?
Graham, I watched it live last week myself as the Bankies had no game and the first five teams that came out were the ones on the newsletter, not St Mirren. Remember it’s not by time of first goal it’s by the order they appear on the vidiprinter.
Jon daly to score and dundee utd to win 9/4 doubled with lambert to score and southampton to win at 4/5.
Homes treble from mr f’s picks of everton, WBA and dundee utd.
Also wee bet on lambert and daly first goal dble.
Good luck all :)
MIGUEL’S DOUBLE@EVENS TIP
SOUTHAMPTON (Over 1.5 Team Goals)
(Southampton currently lead West Ham by 2 points in the race for the second automatic promotion position in the Championship. There is no bigger incentive to win and they know a draw may not be enough. Southampton have scored on average 2.1 goals per game at home this season. They face already relegated Coventry who they scored 4 goals past earlier in the season and have conceded an average of 1.6 goals per game away from home.)
NEWCASTLE (Win or Draw)
(What a season it has been for Newcastle, who would of thought they would be battling for a Champions League spot with 4 games remaining. Tomorrow they face Wigan who have had some great results of late, however Newcastle will be aware of all their threats, and after winning their last 6 confidence is sky high and their eyes are on finishing 3rd.)
West brom Sheffield Wednesday bury treble
Lambert/vaz te double
Early coupon- west ham Dundee united Middlesbrough Leeds
Btts- Torquay Northampton Watford Birmingham Doncaster Walsall
Good luck lads
4 goals for saints and lambert not scored !?!
With it nearing the end of the season and the unpredictable results(saying that, it’s been like that for most of the season)i’ve decided just to go for anytime goalscorers. Also got them to score two or more.
Main bets are singles with smaller stakes on doubles and trebles with buttons on a four-fold
Jelavic 11/10…13/2
Van Persie 6/5…10/3
Cisse 13/10…13/2
