Cycling: Tour of Flanders 2015 (starts 10.15)
Big race this Sunday when the most important race in Flanders starts, it’s the biggest sport-event in Belgium and one of the 5 monuments in cycling. I think we will see the same names we saw in the E3 race. This is a similar race and the riders will race a part of the same roads and climbs. Like the E3 race my picks will be Vanmarcke, Stybar and Thomas.
Some bookies have Peter Sagan as the favourite for this race, but after his performances in Strade Bianche (31th), E3 (30th) and Gent-Wevelgem (10th) I can’t see him beating the others with this form. Vanmarkce is the other favourite and I see him as a main contender, but for some reason he just can’t win a big race and looks to run out of power in the final stages. Below you will find my bets, some already posted earlier this week.

He won the E3 race and was 3rd in the windy battle which was Gent-Wevelgem. He looks like the strongest in the spring classics and after tipping him for the E3, I will have some on him again.

I’m not so sure mate. I was in two minds of backing Houston outright. Beat Dallas in Dallas and Howard back so he’ll be slapping Westbrook in the face when he’s driving. Think he’s shot something like 33% over his last 5 games. Watching them against Dallas the other night it was clear, Thunder do not play defence at all. Think Dallas scored close to 80 of their points in the paint. Fear the beard. I’m on Over 216. I’ll put my other fancies up. Fancy the 76ers on the ML too. Very well nearly beat the Hornets last night in Charlotte, the Cavs in Cleveland, beat the Nuggets in Denver (altitude) just think they are the better team although on the road.

San Antonio’s game of the year, whilst Golden State will have little motivation to go all out. Spurs have really stepped up their play of late, particularly at home where they’ve won 10 of their last 11, with 8 of them being by 10+ points. Looks like a let down spot for Golden State with back to back road game after visiting Dallas yesterday.
MLB regular season kicks off tonight with the Cardinals @ Cubs. It’s a tough one to call but as it’s the first game of the season I’m going to have a couple of small bets.

Both starting pitchers are good and have similar stats from last season. Cubs pitcher Lester complained of a tired arm and recently missed a spring training start. Cardinals pitcher, Wainwright, on the other hand has built up his pitch count to 93. Lester’s lack of competitive training could give Cardinals the edge and just under evens looks a bit of value to me.

Again I think this is a decent price and it’s an achievable total and if the game finishes on 7 it’s stake returned.
