Jordan I’ve just started doing some ufc research, been looking into laquinta v masvidal since 6 this morning. I can’t wait to watch this fight! Both love to be on the front foot attacking, both with brilliant accuracy and striking. I’ve seen that masvidal isn’t happy fighting laquinta saying he isn’t on the same level, to underestimate a fighter like laquinta is a very bad move. I think laquinta will take this win, but I can see al laquinta taking a decision victory here. So is the safe option just the al laquinta win at good odds? Also I can’t see mendes v lamas going the distance and at evens I’ll be on that

Bit more of a write up for tonight, Joshua is coming off a back injury so you could speculate that he may go a couple of rounds tonight and be perhaps tentative, however joshua doesnt let guys off the hook that easy, he punches with real spite and gavern is a journeyman who admitted that even sparring with joshua badly hurt him. been tossing up between rnd 1 or 2, ill go with 1.
Bika has never been stopped, but he has never fought a puncher like stevenson, i expect that to change tonight with stevenson looking to impress after many suggesting he is cherrypicking oppents and ducking kovalev.
Beterbiev beat killer kovalev in the amateurs twice, he’s only had 7 fights as a pro however the level of opposition has been high, he is slightly robotic as a boxer, but packs real power, stopping all of his opponents in the first 3, even if campillo runs for the first few rounds, i expect beterbiev to close off the ring and finish him in the 2nd or 3rd.

Anthony Joshua v Jason Gavern (Boxing)
This may have already been mentioned but it remains a great bet in my view. AJ takes on the journeyman Gavern who most will recall from Prize fighter in 2013 when he lost to AJ’s last opponent Sprott. Gavern also fought Wilder last year and somehow managed to make it to the end of round 4. AJ is taking him on in his 11th fight and has a further fight lined up at the end of May. He will want to dispose of Gavern early for a number of reasons. He has been out injured, has not fought since Sprott, will want do him in half the time Wilder did in order to keep the hype going and finally the fight in May is the one that will supposedly see AJ get some rounds. I am near enough 100% certain that AJ can have him out within 60 seconds let alone a round if he really wants to. Gavern will come out gunning which will leave AJ with no option but to hopefully get the job done early. Gavern has a very poor defence and all of AJ’s punches will hurt him whether they connect cleanly or not. Gavern took the fight on with 7 days notice having previously fought Gerald Washington on the 13th March losing out on points. He has previously sparred with AJ and took a fair bit of punishment. The most revealing thing for me was the weigh in yesterday. Gavern could not look AJ in the eyes. He looked petrified. Cycling: Tour of Flanders 2015
Big race this Sunday when the most important race in Flanders starts, it’s the biggest sport-event in Belgium and one of the 5 monuments in cycling. I think we will see the same names we saw in the E3 race. This is a similar race and the riders will race a part of the same roads and climbs. Like the E3 race my picks will be Vanmarcke, Stybar and Thomas.
Some bookies have Peter Sagan as the favourite for this race, but after his performances in Strade Bianche (31th), E3 (30th) and Gent-Wevelgem (10th) I can’t see him beating the others with this form. Vanmarkce is the other favourite and I see him as a main contender, but for some reason he just can’t win a big race and looks to run out of power in the final stages. Below you will find my bets, some already posted earlier this week.

He won the E3 race and was 3rd in the windy battle which was Gent-Wevelgem. He looks like the strongest in the spring classics and after tipping him for the E3, I will have some on him again.

Stybar was 2nd in the E3 and I can see him winning it or end up on the podium again.

Oss has showed himself in every cobbled race this season and will help Van Avermaet as long as he can. Theuns is a young talent and showed some good racing on the flat races, but I can’t see him finish with the big guys tomorrow.
Stannard is also a rider who likes flat roads, he will try to stay with Thomas as long as he can. Vandenbergh has a very good record in these races in his living / training area, I can see him finish between 5 and 10.
