IT’S another tough weekend with games split evenly between yesterday and today. Bury gave me first Super Single of the month yesterday and hopefully I'll continue to build on that early profit.
I like to put up Super Singles at evens or above but it's clear to me most followers don't care about the price – they just want a win – so no apologies from me about going with West Brom on Saturday at 4-5 to beat QPR at home.
I thought about West Brom to win to nil at 15-8 with McBookie and BetVictor as they welcome the travel-sick Londoners but it's risky for a Super Single even though Tony Pulis's side have won six of their last seven at without conceding.
Rangers have won one and lost 13 of their 14 away outings and netted just 10 goals – only WBA have hit fewer away.
England star Saido Berahino netted the only goal in the last league game at the Hawthorns against Stoke and is 15-4 at Stan James to score first.
For the Top Treble I'm starting with Man Utd who are beginning to look nailed on for a top-four spot after winning at Anfield last time out. Louis van Gaal's side shouldn't have any problems beating Aston Villa at home and are priced up short at 1-3 with William Hill and others.
Tim Sherwood has improved Villa's attacking threat and they netted four at Sunderland but if they're too open at Old Trafford they'll get picked off and United to win by two or more should come in at 10-11 with Skybet.
Wayne Rooney will be full of confidence after his double against Lithuania and is 7-2 at McBookie and bet365 to break the deadlock.
Complete the treble with Chelsea in the later Premier League game at home to Stoke. The Blues have won this fixture to nil seven times in a row. Three have been 1-0, last season it was 3-0 and there's also a 7-0 in there.

I like the way Arsenal are playing at the moment, whats more Arsenals home form at thr Emirates has been strong. They have scored in every home game at the Emirates since August last year, winning 11 out of 12 of their last home games only dropping points in that dismal display against Monaco.
Whats more impressive is the number of goals the score at home. 10 out of 12 of their last home games they have scored 2 or more goals.
This is where my main bet on this game is going. I like the look of over 1.5 arsenal goals at 4/5 and believe this is good value considering liverpool are without Skrtel and with talk around Sterlings non comttittal and delayed talks over his new contract all is not settled in the reds camp.
H2Hs favour this bet also with arsenal scoring 2 in the last two h2hs (2-2,2-1).
And Arsenal landing the over 1.5 team goal bet in 6 out of 7 of the last h2hs.

Didn’t post last week, but that’s not to deny that my Spanish Sunday bet lost a fortnight ago with 2/4 correct, and I’m now 0/2 on Sunday bets aiming at a return of 10x stake and over.
I’m picking up today on non-league where I’ve started to put in the study again, reading the Non-League Paper from cover-to-coverand keeping tabs on club sites and selected fans’ and players’ twitters in the hope of stealing a march on the bookies. I put up two bets last week as a double and the 11/8 selection came in.
Anyway, until the end of the season, I’m framing the non-league picks I’m going to put forward in the same format as my Sunday bet. So, for me, it’s all or nothing on one bet on the fourfold paying at 10 times stake or over, but it is well-worth pointing out that any of these picks is a good shout as a single in its own right. They’re all quite well-priced, which is one of the main reasons for picking them!

I always like the look of Blyth at home in this league where they’re a match for anyone, and they’re still just about in the hunt for a play-off place with a young, maturing side. Against one of the league’s big guns last week, Ashton, Blyth more than held their own against a much better-funded side and were unlucky not to hold out for the win, with boss Tom Wade claiming they’d given the visitors ‘a footballing lesson’ and his boys will be better and stronger next season. Whilst that’s slightly defeatist In terms of getting into the play-offs, it says he wants full commitment to the end of the season. Blyth are 6th best home for the season and Halesowen are 10th away. However, 10 match form shows Blyth home at 6th P10 W5 D4 L1 F20 A9, while Halesowen away are 19th P10 W1 D6 L3 F6 A8. Their 5 match away form is even worse. That has them 24th of 24 in their 5 most recent away games. W0 D2 L3 F2 A5. Worst of all, though, is last time out, they lost away at bottom overall Belper Town, who hadn’t won since 18th November – 18 games.
Blyth are, I think, a fairly generous 8/11.

Margate are 3rd and P&T are 16th currently. This is a battle, though, between 19th best home side (P&T) and 5th best away (Margate). Records are P&T home P20 W8 D4 L8 F33 A34. Margate away are P19 W9 D5 L5 F38 A25. 5 match form is P&T home P5 W2 D0 L3 F7 A11. Margate away P5 W2 D2 L1 F10 A7. Last weekend, Margate played top of the table Maidstone, going ahead before losing 2-1 away. Notable, though was their determination to put up a fight and they missed two glorious chances late to equalise. Midweek, they went away to Met Police – always a tricky tie – and thrashed them 3-0. P&T meanwhile are seven points above relegation scrap, not much to play for, and are coasting towards the summer holidays – in their case, ironically enough, the donkey rides at Margate – losing their last three straight without registering a single goal.

Enfield in 6th play Bognor in 11th. Only 4 points separate them, though, and Enfield are only 1 point off the play-offs. That would suggest that Bognor may be the happening side, but it’s Enfield who have won 7 of their last 10, four of those victories at home. They’e 6th best home for the season, but 5 match form has them 4th. P5 W4 D0 L1 F9 A3. Their last home game at the weeked saw them dominate and finally wear down stubborn Hampton, indicating their will to win against the most stubborn opponents who offered very little in attack. It has to be said that Bognor haven’t been rubbish away – they’re 12th away for the season, and 6th on 5 match form. P5 W1 D4 L0 F7 A6. However, those four draws have come against some of the poorest of the league’s sides on form, with the one win against Kingstonian a very creditable one, but Kingstonian notably poor on the day.
To me, Enfield can impose themselves on these opponents and should win at 8/11.

I like Mr Fs super single today. WBA at home have a good record at home recently winning 6 out of the last 5, and only dropping points to Spurs in a rather impressive display from a certain Harry Kane.
I do however also like the stats I am seeing over in the QPR camp.
QPR have scored away from home in 5 of their last away games, with 4 of those away games seeing BTTS and the home team win.
WBA have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 4 home games (Pulis effect), as stated above I believe WBA will win but I just cant rule out QPR not scoring at the Hawthorns especially when you consider where they are in the league and their need to pick up points. To be fair to QPR they are trying which is reflected by their ability to score away from home to try and pick up some valuable points but they do lack overall quality.
The most recent H2H also looks promising with QPR winning 3-2 back in December with leading QPR goalscorer Charlie Austin getting a well deserved hatrick.

Frankfurt have been a revelation this season, across the 5 major european leagues, they have the best goal to game ratio averaging 3.92 per game at home, and over 3.00 away! They surprisingly have a chance to make Europe for the first time in a long time. They sit 8th and are in decent form especially at home, they have won their last 3 on their own turf and prior to that drew 1-1 with high flying Wolfsburg. They score lots of goals obviously and have the 3rd best attack in a league which has many high scorers, they have netted 49 times across 26 games and 29 in 13 at home. They have only failed to score in 3 of their games this campaign, they have scored in 11 of 13 at home and have scored in their last 15 on the trot. They tend to concede though aswell and have done in 22 of 26 and 9 of their 13 home games. Marco Russ (not Reus ;)) is out injured as is Constant Djakpa. Top scorer Alexander Meier will lead the line and he has scored an impressive 19 times this season.
Hannover are in the midst of a relegation battle, they probably shouldn’t have been 10 games back… but they have seen themselves drop into a torrid run of form in which they haven’t won or kept a clean sheet in 10. They are the most out of form team in the league and have lost 5 of their last 8, they can score though and have done in 7 of the last 8, obviously they conceded in all meaning BTTS has landed 7/8 times. They have conceded 2 or more in 7 of 13 games away including against Gladbach and Hamburg in recent weeks. Overall they have let in 42 times in 26 and 22 in just 13 away. As mentioned they can score themselves having done so in 7 of their 13 away. Ex Dortmund man Leonardo Bittencourt is out due to suspension and he is arguably their main attacking threat, they have a few injuries and another notable one is Joao Pereira at fullback. They have a decent goal to game ratio at 2.69 and we should see goals here today.
Head to head actually shows that struggling Hamburg have the better of the fixture having won 4 of the last 6 only losing once. 3 of 6 have gone overs and only 2 have seen both teams scoring. However, Eintracht are a much different prospective this season, as are Hannover, especially since they began this barren run, confidence is non existent and whilst they might try to keep it tight i think they will struggle today.
Frankfurt look good to score at least 2 today to me, they have done in 8 of their 13 at home and a best price 1.80 to do so again. Alexander Meier is likely to score if frankfurt get a couple and he is available at 2.20 anytime. o2.5 and BTTS are both likely however i’ll steer clear at odds of 1.67 and 1.62 respectively.. combine the 2 and you get best price 1.91 which just isn’t for me.

I like the way Arsenal are playing at the moment, whats more Arsenals home form at thr Emirates has been strong. They have scored in every home game at the Emirates since August last year, winning 11 out of 12 of their last home games only dropping points in that dismal display against Monaco.
Whats more impressive is the number of goals the score at home. 10 out of 12 of their last home games they have scored 2 or more goals.
This is where my main bet on this game is going. I like the look of over 1.5 arsenal goals at 4/5 and believe this is good value considering liverpool are without Skrtel and with talk around Sterlings non comttittal and delayed talks over his new contract all is not settled in the reds camp.

I like Mr Fs super single today. WBA at home have a good record at home recently winning 6 out of the last 5, and only dropping points to Spurs in a rather impressive display from a certain Harry Kane.
I do however also like the stats I am seeing over in the QPR camp.
QPR have scored away from home in 5 of their last away games, with 4 of those away games seeing BTTS and the home team win.
WBA have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 4 home games (Pulis effect), as stated above I believe WBA will win but I just cant rule out QPR not scoring at the Hawthorns especially when you consider where they are in the league and their need to pick up points. To be fair to QPR they are trying which is reflected by their ability to score away from home to try and pick up some valuable points but they do lack overall quality.
The most recent H2H also looks promising with QPR winning 3-2 back in December with leading QPR goalscorer Charlie Austin getting a well deserved hatrick.

I’ll be on Rangers/Draw double chance at 4/6. Hearts will ease up, whether they admit it or not. It’s human nature. If there’s any motivation at all, it’s more likely to be to stop Hibs not Rangers. By losing to Rangers, Hibs are another 3 points further away from that 2nd spot. I wouldn’t be surprised if Neilson plays a few youngsters.

Aldosivi are a newly promoted side, but they have adapted to the top flight in a good manner picking up 3 draws and 1 win. In the last game they showed they can score aswell as concede in a 3-3 thriller with Union Santa. They have conceded in all 3 home games this term and scored in 2 of 3. 67% of their points have been earned away and 86% of their goals have been scored in the 2nd half. Perhaps interestingly, they have been losing at HT in 4 of their 6 games and conceded the opening goal in 5 of 6 which shows they can comeback. They have full squad available for tonights trip and will hope to take something from this game to maintain their unbeaten streak.
Godoy Cruz have started the season in a manner that is to be expected after last year. They have won twice,drawn twice and lost the other 3. One thing that you can usually rely on with this side is a few goals, they have scored in 6 of their 7 games this term, scored in all 4 on their home turf , not to mention they have conceded in 6 of 7 and all 4 at home. They have lost their the 2 games prior to the 2-2 draw with Independentie last time out and most recently they fell 1-0 to 5th placed River Plate which is nothing to be concerned about. Especially, considering if you asked the average fan to name a team from Argentina… the likely answer would be River Plate. In the game prior to this they got smashed 5-1 in their own backyard by Lanus, however once again, a top outfit in Argentina who are regular competitors in the Copa Libertadores and currently 4th placed. Before the losses they took 2 wins from 2 winning 2-1 at home to Huracan before doing a job away at Nueve Chicago in which they won 2-0. More numbers show their entertainment value is not to be ignored, they have scored 9 and conceded 12 in the first 6, and seen 15 goals total in their 4 home games. Early on the season its hard to judge so look to last season stats which will tell you that Godoy scored 31 and conceded 39 in 19 games, 14 scored and 20 conceded in 9 home games. In fact they seen 14 of their 19 games go o2.5 match goals and averaged the highest goal to game ratio at 3.68. Tonight they will have their top scorer Leandro Fernandez back after suspension. He has 4 goals this term and with another goalscorer in Jaime Avoyi is available after international commitments perhaps goals should not be a problem. Thankfully Juan Alvacete managed to get a few minutes under his belt against River Plate and should get a starting berth tonight, he is a key man.
