Same old story for my highlighted games – win one, lose one. Despite 13 hits and 4 walks, St.Louis could only muster 3 runs against a poor Brewers’ pitching staff and Lynn decided to have a bad night, resulting in a Brewers 6-3 win.
Pirates on the other-hand came exactly as I anticipated. Liriano was awesome and their bats finally gave him some runs. 8-0 winners there.
It is still early in the season I guess, it will get more consistent once the weather gets warm.

Hi Dazzler mate. I’m still looking and have one or two bookmarked that needs a bit further research. My thoughts on the picks you said:
Texas/Seattle. The bookies can’t split them and their records are identical (7-11) for these divisional rivals. I think hitting-wise, Seattle is better but not by much. More important is home-field advantage and starter Gallardo for Texas. Being a Reds fan, I have seen him too many times pitch well for the Brewers, Walker on the other hand I know little about, apart from he was less than impressive in AAA last season with a 4+ERA and dire this season in the “Bigs”. The Rangers look a decent pick for around evens.
KCR@Cleveland. I can see why you are tempted with this one too. The price for this game is simply down to Kluber pitching for the Tribe. Granted Cleveland are at home, Vargas has not been very good for the Royals and Kluber is the reigning CY Young award winner… BUT having seen Kluber pitch recently, he is not hitting his pitches as well as last season and Cleveland’s batting line-up is a mess. This is a 50/50 game for me so odds of 2.40 is value.
Well not such a good night on the NBA for me with Spurs killing two accas and The Beard failing to get above 27.5 points but onwards and upwards.

OK I’ve looked into it and today I am going against one of my personal favourite pitchers, Shields (Padres), in favour of McHugh of the Astros.
It is up to debate if all those years of losing and top draft picks are finally paying off for the Astros but 3 things; They have started well, are loaded with young talent and McHugh will be a top tier pitcher.
Petco Park is a pitcher’s paradise and with 2 top pitchers up against each other, it should be close.
Astros @1.95 or maybe U6.5 runs @1.80 seem the best options for me.

The guy won his prop bet in 7 minutes in game 3, and for 2 points extra, plus Conley not starting, he should get just as many shots tonight.
