CELTIC and Hibs will have to quickly pick themselves off the floor for big games tonight after last weekend’s cup heartache.
The Hoops have a title to clinch and Hibs still hope to pip Rangers to second spot in the Championship.
A double on the Scottish Cup semi-final losers at Dundee and Livingston respectively pays evens at the likes of McBookie and Coral and will be popular.
Only winning will ease players’ pain and I expect Celtic to regain their eight-point lead at the top. It could be tougher for Hibs against a Livi side battling to beat the drop but all three previous meetings this season have gone the way of the Easter Road men who are a biggest 8-13 at Coral.
Celtic are 1-3 with William Hill and they’ve won two and drawn one against Dee this season. The return of Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong will give Ronny Deila’s men a lift and I’m on Mackay-Steven to net at 11-8 with Betfred.
An interesting stat is Celtic have won the last six meetings between the sides on a Wednesday. Ex-Dens striker Leigh Griffiths has faced Dundee twice this season and scored in both. He is 11-8 at Betfred to complete the hat-trick.
Scott Allan was man of the match at Hampden on Saturday and rattled the bar. The Hibs midfielder is 6-1 at Coral to net at any time.
Five of Livingston’s last six and two of the three meetings this season have seen both score so that should come up again at 11-13 with 888sport.
