MY 11-2 Scottish both to score treble got me out of jail on a tough Saturday.
Loads of hot favourites such as Chelsea, Man United, Huddersfield, Bolton and Rangers flopped to allow not much in the way of accumulator wins.
All of my bets were beaten but an 11-2 treble thanks to games at Inverness, Partick Thistle and Annan gave me a small profit on the accumulators.
My Super Single lost as Stirling Albion's run of six wins in a row was stopped as Forfar ended their poor spell but later I put up a winning double of Roma -1 and btts at Monaco v PSG but not for points.
There was no joy for Desmond, Jordan and Greg but Scott Allot landed a European both to score treble for the fourth week running. All his games ended 1-1 and the treble paid 5-1.
He's put another treble for today and incredibly without knowing what mine was he's gone for the three same games.
Today Celtic aim to win the league at Hearts and I've posted a separate preview. In England the big game is Arsenal v Man City and I can't see past both to score and I expect Swansea to beat Middlesbrough at other end of the table.
Oxford are favourites to beat League One rivals Coventry in the EFL Trophy Final and goals could again be the way to go with two league meetings seeing both score.
There are big games all over Europe including Napoli v Juventus and and I'll check team news in the morning before putting up the rest of the top tips with a btts treble featuring Napoli posted first.
For the Top Treble I'm starting with AC Milan at a Pescara side who have lost four in a row and heading down. Add Oxford to lift the cup as opposed to the riskier of bet of winning in 90 minutes and complete with Nice not to lose at home to Bordeaux. They should win but have drawn three of their last six so let's keep the stalemate with us.
I've been mulling over the Super Single all morning but in the end I'm going with Swansea to beat Middlesbrough. It's a huge game at the bottom of the table and I feel the home men have enough quality to get the job done.
Swansea remain in the drop fight after back-to-back away defeats to Bournemouth and Hull but before that they defeated Burnley and Leicester in front of their own fans.
Boro's lack of goals cost Aitor Karanka his job and there's always a worry about a bounce when a new man comes in but caretaker boss Steve Agnew faces a tough task.

Decent enough day for me yesterday, here’s hoping I can get two solid days for the start of the month.
Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix:
Victory have been solid all season, although were quite poor last round, given they were missing a ton of key players. All those players return now from international duty, with Berisha, Rojas, Troisi, Mahazi and Ingham back. With a full side, Victory will be keen to maintain their positive form into the finals.
Phoenix recorded a surprise 5-0 win over the Jets in their last game, which surprised many (including myself), given they were missing quite a few players as well. Moss, Doyle, Krishna, Durante, Smeltz and McGlinchey are back now to boost the side. Phoenix need wins heading into the final 3 rounds, as they seek to close the gap for a finals side, currently sitting adrift of Glory by 7 points.
I expect a fiery game here, as Phoenix must do absolutely everything to win and cannot afford to sit back. Whilst Victory can afford to pick them off time and again. Should be goals.
Brisbane Roar v Central Coast Mariners:
Roar still have everything to do, as they are trying to stave off Wanderers and Perth from a top 4 position heading into the finals. They are missing Oar, McKay and Theo heading into this, but have enough depth in their side to cover these losses.
They will be happy to be facing a Mariners side, who after a mini revival, have well and truly slumped once more. @mr-fixit and everyone else. What do you think are the best stats for highlighting BTTS games?
I am experimenting with a system that looks at each teams:
1) Last 6 games BTTS %
2) Last 6 games >2.5 %
3) Last 6 Home/Away (whichever they are in the fixture) BTTS %
4) Last 6 Home/Away >2.5 %
5) Last 6 Historical results (H2H between the two teams) BTTS %
6) Last 6 Historical results >2.5 %
I’m not sure what other data I should try and plug in to the system or how I can fine tune it anymore. I try and keep it automated so it can look through 10’s-100’s of matches then when it churns out a few results I can manually check them myself. Thanks.
For me I look at last 6 games results and then h2h.
I also check team news in case a key striker is missing.
Also consider recent schedule and who they’re playing next.

Evening Macca – I rarely, if ever, bet on WDW but their are certain games that scream ‘the draw’ to me especially in the EPL.
Most often, they are the big games and I’ll strip out all recent stats – how often do you see disparative scorelines between the top 5 EPL when they compete against one another? Very rarely.
The 365 offer is a case in point – it is usually these big games that are featured…how often do 365 offer games (EPL) end in a draw…lots.
Sometimes, but not often, a lifetime playing and following football throws up gut feelings that just feel right.
I know it’s not a ‘statistically correct’ reasoning but it is what it is!
