IT'S Easter Friday so that means a big card in England. The Championship, League One, League Two and National League games have been brought forward 24 hours leaving the Premier League for Saturday.
As regulars know I have little time to look at Friday games because I have to write my Saturday Daily Record articles and pick out the top tips.
Big games in the Championship include Newcastle v Leeds, Wolves v Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday v Cardiff and none those look easy calls.
On the Continent we have Angers v PSG in France and Athletic Bilbao v Las Palmas in Spain as well as the usual lower-league matches in Holland and France that are loved for goals. PSG should win and I can see both scoring in Bilbao.
I've chosen a both to score treble based from the English games based on stats and form and not surprisingly Greg and others have also picked out the Crewe v Notts County game.
And I have also picked Kilmarnock draw no bet at home Hearts as the Super Single and it's good to see the Racing Post's Scottish tipster Mark Walker plumping for Killie to win as his recommended bet on the game.
Killie are too big at 31-10 with McBookie compared to Hearts who are just under evens. Killie won 2-0 at home earlier in the season on their plastic pitch and have only lost at Rugby Park in two of the last 10 meetings.
Hearts have lost their last three away without scoring while Killie's only defeat in five was to Celtic and even then they gave them a game.
I'm in the middle of my Record work but I've picked out a Top Treble – with the little help of my friends. Not for the first time I'm taking Sean Ireland's advice on Cork and backing them to score 2+ at Bohemians who reportedly have injury problems.
Cork have a 100 per cent record after eight games and have netted at least two goals in their last six while Bohemians have conceded 11 at home in four outings.
Add PSG to win at Angers and pull level with Monaco at the top who could at some stage be distracted by Champions League ambitions. PSG are fully concentrated now on the title and have won five in a row as well as hammering Monaco in a cup final.
Angers lost just 1-0 at home to Monaco last week and don't concede loads but with PSG around 2-5 for the straight win that's good enough on a treble.
And complete the line with Greg's tip which is Nimes to beat Orleans at home in French Ligue 2. I like his reasoning and trust his judgment.
And finally risking 1pt on a moneyback fivefold – so make sure you do it with acca insurance. All have been mentioned by me or others except maybe Colchester. Backing them at a big price to beat Doncaster who were promoted last Saturday then by all accounts “partied hard” before returning to training on Wednesday.
Doncaster still have a title to secure but if they're not at their best today they'll struggle against a side that's won three in a row at home convincingly.
Last night no Schalke goal beat me for a btts double and fourfold so it was 1.5pts lost.

Decent looking card today but not always a good thing and often harder to crystallise your thinking on certain leagues and games.
I’ve had a sweep through all the lower leagues and will probably put up something at a bigger price, but there is one game that catches my eye and it’s taking place a few miles down the road…
NORTH FERRIBY UNITED VS. EASTLEIGH:
It’s looking bleak for the National League minnows but their opening campaign was always going to be tough after rising so quickly through the leagues – they have a bit of fight about them though and I reckon there may be some value to be had here.
North Ferriby have scored very few all season but they have struck in 6 of their last 7 games and mores to the point, have found the back of the net in all four of their last home games.
Eastleigh find themselves in mid-table having come out of a dreadful run in the new year and 4 wins and a draw in March have probably secured their survival despite losing their two most recent games – note, these were both against good opposition – Lincoln and The Daggers who sit 1st and 4th respectively.
So, Eastligh certainly have the credentials to score against a Ferriby side with the worst G/D (-44) in the division but The Villagers look like they are going to go down with a fight and if they are to score – and I believe they will – it may pay to take a look at their leading goalscorer Reece Thompson.
Thompson has scored 10 this season and although that is hardly a ‘haul’, it makes him 3 times more prolific any other Ferriby player.

Back too Portugal this weekend for 2 matches involving both Lisbon teams who love too score but struggle too keep clean sheets.

Morning all!
I left the Europa League alone last night after a really good day on Wednesday but it seemed it was still perfectly good for goals, especially with Lyon obliging late on. It’s been a strange one today – a Friday card with plenty of English games mixed in with the usual Dutch, Irish and French fare. It’s not too bad a card though, and I’ve found a few punts that I like:
Norwich’s 7-1 hammering of Reading caught everybody by surprise last week. Those 7 goals lifted their home tally to 48 goals scored in 20 games which, especially considering their topsy-turvy season, is an impressive statistic. Still, they’ve consistently conceded on their own patch as well, conceding 19 in those 20 games to land at an average of 3.4 goals a game.
Today they welcome a Fulham side who are much more reliable for goal fests when they themselves play at home. Craven Cottage has seen a massive 71 goals in 21 league games this season, but though their away form isn’t as prolific, Fulham aren’t exactly shy of a goal or two on their travels either. 31 goals scored and 22 conceded from 20 games statistically bodes well for both sides scoring, while recent results at Derby and Newcastle (4-2, 1-3) show that they certainly don’t park the proverbial bus when visiting the top sides.
I expect goals, likely from both sides. The price is skinnier than I’d like but I think there’s just enough juice to take it on.

Next up are two big favourites from England and Ireland.
Dundalk host a Bray side who have started the season in really good goal-scoring form. They actually match Dundalk, as both sides have scored 17 goals in their opening 8 fixtures. However, the difference between the two sides lies in goals conceded. Bray have conceded 14 in those 8, 9 of them coming in their 4 away games. They have since kept two consecutive clean sheets, but those came in a league cup game, and against mediocre Galway side (during which Bray parked the bus following a sending off). Only Cork (top of the league) and Derry (going so well until tragedy struck the club) have caused Dundalk problems this season. Hopefully there will be goals on offer for them here.
Maidenhead look set for the National League after storming back to imperious form in March. A slight wobble was soon rectified as they have now won 7 games on the spin, scoring 17 goals. Only an away trip to a solid Chelmsford side (who have lost just 5 times season and do not concede often at home) saw Maidenhead fail to score two during this run of 7 wins. A home fixture against Concord, who usually see goals on their travels and average nearly 2 goals conceded an away game, should see Maidenhead knock a couple in.

Neil Warnock returns to hometown Sheffield with Cardiff today, only having lost 1 in 13 games against Sheffield Wednesday. Sheff Wed. fans will be on his back as he was Sheff. Utd trainer. He will get Cardiff up for this game. As he looks to build for next season its a question of sorting out contracts for players at the club and today is seen as a chance for players whose contracts are due to expire to play themselves into contention for next season.

I think Derby have enough to beat Brentford but they’re a team that can be hard to beat down in midfield. We’re away from home in the capital ( not historically a great place for points for the rams ) but momentum is with us, a few slip ups from Sheff Wed or Fulham and with this continued good form, we COULD have a say on that 6th spot given who has got to play who.
Norwich I think will do Fulham today and I think Forest, Sheff Wed, Newcastle and Derby will all win today.
