racing_generic

ALL eyes will be Aintree on Saturday for the most famous horse race in the world – the Grand National.

Our man JohnB picked out his ante-post tips a few months ago and they’re included below along with his final selection.

JohnB’s Grand National Ante-post Tips

(Odds are bet365 and Stan James because they were non-runner no bet at original time of posting)

BALTHAZAR KING 14-1 e-w Bet365 Stan James

SOLL 25-1 e-w Stan James

GALLANT OSCAR 50-1 e-w Stan James NON RUNNER

NIGHT IN MILAN 40-1 e-w Bet365

So with Gallant Oscar a non runner its time to post my last Grand National Tip

THE DRUIDS NEPHEW 14-1 Bet365

Gallant Oscar would have been my main fancy but now it’s SOLL

Good luck whatever you back.

Ive done 4 for the national at various odds

    Shutthefrontdoor
Easy to pick and odds arent great but hes been aimed for this as soon as mccoy announced his retirement and i think he will go very close if not win

    Cause of causes
won over 4m at cheltenham and has speed and proven stamina. And again gordon elliott yard in great form

    And 2 complete outsiders
    mon parrain
    portrait king

Enjoy the race and lets hope all return safe and sound

As usual the Mrs who doesn’t follow horses has made a prediction. This time it’s of 1 Soll 2 spring heeled and 3 pineau de re so put some pennies on tricast just in case lol. For me it’s Balthazar king. Love this horse and his run last year. Hoping he can go one better. Bow down to the KING!

Put up last night nicholls to win the nat but unioniste only 7 so that ones out reble rebellion & mon parrain both wear blinkers so their out that leaves me with ROCKY CREEK This is the one for me just cant bet a horse that needs blinkers in a race of this nature .good luck all what ever u bet Today.

  32. Ant H 2 years ago

Soll all the way for me said it for months now the horse looks revitalised.
Oscar time looks a good shout to with sam waley cowen riding it he loves aintree

  33. KOI 2 years ago

Only garisson savana and lauras beau (placed) in the nat wearing blinkers in recent years thats why i got rid of two of nicholls.just my opinion good luck all after all it is the national and anything can happen!!!!
